Xonder Is a Complete Scam – Avoid at All Costs

I honestly do not understand how Xonder is still operating. My experience with this company has been an absolute nightmare from start to finish.

First of all, they take whatever percentage they want from your money. The fees make no sense, there is no transparency, and no proper breakdown of charges. It feels like they just decide randomly how much to keep. You work hard for your money, and they simply take a huge cut without clear explanation.

Customer service is completely nonexistent. I have sent multiple emails asking for clarification and support, and not a single proper response. No replies, no updates, no accountability. It is like talking to a wall. For a company handling people’s money, this level of neglect is shocking and unacceptable.

The worst part is that they have been holding my payments for several months and still have not transferred the funds to my account. Several months! There is absolutely no justification for this delay. My money is just sitting there, and I cannot access it. This has caused serious stress and inconvenience.

The entire experience feels dishonest and deeply unprofessional. There is zero transparency, zero communication, and zero reliability. At this point, it genuinely feels like a scam operation rather than a legitimate company.

I would strongly advise anyone considering using Xonder to think twice. There are far better and more trustworthy companies out there. Do not risk your money, your time, or your peace of mind. Avoid at all costs.

Cowboy Setup

Our experience with this company has been extremely disappointing. We waited almost a month for our first payout after switching to XEPay in December with Xonder as the merchant. The second payment took another two weeks, which is far from acceptable for any payment processor.

We originally signed up on a 1% transaction fee with no monthly charges, but over just five weeks they suddenly increased fees to anywhere between 1% and 7% without warning or justification. That alone is a major red flag.

Customer support is practically nonexistent. They only offer WhatsApp support, which they never respond to, and they also ignored our email. For a company handling payments, this level of communication is unacceptable.

In short: unreliable payouts, unexpected fees, and zero customer service.
My advice: avoid this cowboy setup.

Horrible and rubbish company

Horrible and rubbish company. They need to send you payments automatically next day to your bank but do not and make excuses as to why they can’t when that’s what you had agreed on when making the deal. Their card machine is always having some sort of issue and never working or taking payments properly. It’s really hard to run a business using their card machine since there’s no point in using their card machine due to how often it doesn’t work. Wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone!

Fraudulent - Financial Fraud - No Customer Service - SCAM

Believe this is a financial fraud. Purchased card reader and applied for business account via xonder.co.uk. My card was charged, and entered details to create new account. Then email received asking for further payment, and all subsequent emails ignored.

A bunch of sly thieving scammers

These are a bunch of rude, nasty thieving scammers!
Xepay Xepos Xonder… all the same.
Stay away from them please. Their machines are faulty or non-functional. When you ask to take the machine back or get a refund, they simply toss you about for weeks:
unanswered phone calls, hanging up on you or simply telling you a list of nonsense that doesn’t resolve the issue.
Please please be warned. You buy their products to your own detriment.
They are now telling me they do not offer refunds and even if the machine is useless, I can keep it.
They’re rude and disrespectful and all they want to do is get hold of your money.
The machine is simply a toy that doesn’t work.
I am begging you, please don’t buy their products and suffer like I am. I even doubt they’re here in the UK and won’t be suprised if they’re operating from India.

They are a no-good thieving bunch of scammers, playing about with people’s finances and mental Health.
Please run a mile and avoid them like a plague!!!!!! Please!

Scam, scam use service loose your money

Scam, had card machine, didn’t work properly had to send numerous text then asked for information they already had, tried the machine out with £1 cost me 3p still waiting to get my money out after a week no response to WhatsApp ,

Definitely looks like scam, they don't payout your money as advertised next day payouts...you have to keep sending them WhatsApp messages and no time fixed or anything...
I am keep texting them everyday when will I receive my money...
So kindly do not join or join on your own risk

This app is grand

I gotta say I didn’t expect much cause it’s free but it is actually decent. Downloading the app was grand took no time at all.
The app itself is proper easy to use. Everything is where you’d expect it to be and no faffing around and I’m no tech wizard.
No fees sneaking in and no nonsense

Yes this is fraud. Basically I lost £20 pound. I ask for refund so they stop responding and now I phone they do not pick phone up.

Useless bank

The bank blocked my account on 1st april. They sent me an email on 3rd April asking for documents already provided. No further contact since and no access to money. Terrible service. Don't use them i still think it might be a scam. ClearBank work with them but won't help and couldn't care less.

I opened a business account with Xonda, paid £300 as a test run, i have not been able to withdraw a penny since then, keeps stating you are over the withdrawal limit even for £5. Please be warned this bank is fraudulent do not open your account with them.

XONDER IS A FRAUDULENT COMPANY AND HAS NO FCA LICENCE

As a business owner, I was searching online for a financial institution offering low business fees when I came across Xonder. Without conducting further due diligence, I opened an account with them. My card arrived today after nearly ten days, but before making any deposits, I decided to research the company thoroughly.

Xonder Ltd was incorporated on 2nd October 2020 by Mrs Farat Kausar, originally registered in Birmingham. Since its incorporation, the company has changed its registered address multiple times, most recently on 12th March 2025 to Cardiff, CF14 8LH. uk/ company/ 12923700/filing-history).

The real concern arose when I checked the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) register. Upon searching for Xonder, I discovered that the company had been struck off. The FCA states:

This firm is no longer registered with the FCA as an Appointed Representative of an authorised firm and can no longer carry on regulated activities.
Do not start to do regulated business with an AR that is no longer registered."**

It is now evident that Xonder Ltd is operating fraudulently. For those denied access to their funds, I strongly advise immediate contact with the Police and the FCA. As for myself, I will be disposing of my card and reporting the company to the relevant authorities without delay.

Terrible - AVOID, wish I had researched

Sign up wasn't too bad. App is Average.

Said they sent a card, never received. Unable to view statements or transactions even though I have a positive balance.

Contacted customer support through app, asked me to email support at xonder, which I did 10 days ago and sent follow ups, not one replied to.

Have about £600 in it so far and tried to make a payment, unable to do so. Ceased asking for payments from clients to go into that account as lost faith.

Telephone support not available either. They do not reply to emails.

They are holding my funds and now I cannot log into the app.

Thinking this is a scam

I have a business account with you, I've got currently £953 of my business money in your bank with another £244 coming in the next 5days. Two days now I've been trying to pay bills but I can't access my business money, I've called with no avail, sent messages and emails with no response.

So I'm begging you to release my money or respond to my emails and message why you are holding my money.

Whether you are legit or not, I don't want to go into details yet. Until I hear from you why you holding my money, because it won't be funny when I come back to this page for you, your company and me.
