Absolutely crap company selling substandard media players. A few years ago invested in a uhd3000, it’s riddled with bugs, they never rectified any of them, payed £1000 for this piece of junk

They then dropped support for my model and concentrated on newer models

Will never never invest in this company again. As a company you can not sell premium audiophile kit and then drop customer and let them hang out to dry.

So many customers saying the same thing, I’m waiting for them to go out of business, they deserve too, AVOID AT ALL COST.

There are other makes of premium media players that have a much better business model, will be investing in those companies

I've had the UHD8000 for couple of months now, purchased from west coast distributor in U.S. Works very well for movie playback, including my old DVDs converted to isos, even bluray 4k which my HTPC would not play at all. The scan function for movies works pretty well, if the files are named properly. Documentation for intake of series discs is lacking, but the forum folk helped me figure out. Plays almost any format from mp4, mkv, blob files etc. The playthrough of Atmos for my theater setup works great. Upscaling of old 720p and 1080p content to 4K also good. Been spoiled by AppleTV 4K upscaling, but this works just about as well so far, once I dialed in the settings. So far, pretty happy with this as it was what I needed to enjoy my large dvd/bluray collection without hunting for discs. These are a little less "consumer facing" than the Eversolo audio products, but one presumes if you're adept at "ripping" your bluray discs properly, then you'll already be prepared to learn some tricks, hacks, and whatnot to do what you want to do.

I feel tricked, they will never finish their OS for the Z9X Pro. Selling this s**t, I'm done, no more hair to pull out.

Over-priced Android TV boxes. Avoid the new 2023 lineup they got released broken and 4 months on still are broken.

Their official websites forum is full of customers all complaining about issues.

I bought a Zidoo X20 media player in 2018, 5 years ago and I am very happy with it. It has been very robust and reliable and still going strong. I use it for playback on a TV and streaming to iPads using VLC/ DNLA protocol.

i got my media players from different places including amazon and direct from website, this is a review on the companies media players,
by far the best media players i have owned, i have a z10 pro and its great, it really is high end picture qaulity.
i have no issues with customer services as never needed them,,one review said they are in china? well of course they are but you can get their players direct or from many websites,if your after a high end media player get the z10 pro or above.

this company is bogus I bought an item a month ago have not received it they have not responded to any of my emails they only have a phone number in China Which no one answers it it’s a scam be careful before you shop

Zidoo have a great forum in which the users are able to ask help from technical staff.

If you ever think of purchasing a STB (Set Top Box) for your TV, this is the company to use. They have from entry-level products to large, Industry Standard Kiosk Display devices.
