Shipment arrived quickly & was in good…

Shipment arrived quickly & was in good shape. I was just a bit disappointed in the quality of the uni. Uni was slimy & off-putting. We love uni but this was not ideal.

Great Food and Customer Service

Although two orders of Udama that I had ordered did not arrive originally, their customer service team was excellent and provided an adequate solution quickly. The food that was delivered was great, particularly the salmon sashimi.

Good packaging great value

Good packaging to preserve the frozen food. Big portion salmon head and bone with lots of meat - great value. All products were super fresh and delicious. Will definitely try more products!

Always fresh and delicious!

Easy ordering, prompt delivery, consistently excellent seafood. I believe that the tuna is truly sashimi grade. Always firm, fresh, and delicious!

Kama Toro - BOGO experience

The o-toro, caviar and salmon were excellent as usual. We tried the bogo Kama toro but one went bad by the time it reached us and the other was going bad. The one that was bad was browning which was disappointing

Fast but brush off service, Omakase box quality is disappointing

The packaging and customer service are amazing—arguably the best online for a retailer. (Fixed-- They just brush you off when they messed up)

However, the Omakase box was disappointing, as it was mostly filled with lower-grade (Level C) fish.

When I fileted them, the texture was cloudy and mushy. My family has been in the sushi business since my great-grandmother (from Osaka); I have been training for nearly 10 years, so there is no misunderstanding regarding quality.I had my father double checked for me as well, and he's been sushi chef for 30 years.
It would be much better to reduce the quantity and prioritize higher-quality selections instead.
However, I haven't check the toro and kuruma ebi yet, hope the experience would be better than this.
