Yampu is absolutely amazing. This is our second time using their services for our vacation planning (Peru and Bolivia the first time and Belize the second time). They are great at understanding the customer's needs, likes and dislikes and always go above and beyond. Whenever there has been even the slightest of issues, they resolve it right away so you have a seamless, "safe" and awesome experience. We have referred them to our friends who also enjoyed their experience with Yampu Travel. We are definitely planning to use their services again for our next vacation!

I recently took the most unforgettable trip to Costa Rica and Yampu Tours made it one of the best experiences of my life! Every little detail was thought of from the thorough itinerary to the unique hotels chosen, to the extraordinary daily adventures!!! Yampu booked our trip to Alaska recently and they deserve a five-star rating.

Monica took a special interest in my son and me. She knew that we needed the best scenery that Alaska could give and the best chances for animal viewing, particularly the giant Kodiak bears.

From the first phone call to the last, Monica began doing her homework. The result was a splendid experience, without a glitch. All the transfers, private tours, and guides worked out to our complete satisfaction.

Monica was hands-on before the trip as well as during the trip. She fine tuned every aspect. Any question or situation, she was a phone call away, even if it was her dinner time.

She looked at our trip requirements and was constantly involved in the process of squaring the details before we were even on the first plane. She was also more concerned with our "food" situation than we were, often suggesting or booking new places while we were on tour.

She treated us like family and tailored the travel experience to our needs. She researched everything, made decisions, checked back with us, even altered things when the weather did not cooperate. We couldn’t have asked for better management and all the excursions gave us memories—and more importantly for our art calendar—photographs.

The final validation should come not from us but from people in Alaska. This is what we heard: “Your travel agent kept calling to get this done”; “your travel agent really fought for you to get this”; or “you can thank your agent for this!”

Wow! Turkey is a must vacation for anyone interested in great food, approachable and welcoming citizens, and significant world history! Istanbul is truly a secular cosmopolitan metropolis... Traffic included lol
The Cappadocia region was truly a step back in time... And the hot air balloon ride is a must! Pottery, magic carpets, and Turkish delights, Oh my!!

Jose put together a package that included 3 days of tours and 2 nights in the highlands of Ecuador with a private guide and driver for our private group of 6. Everything was spectacular. We had amazing hikes around Cotopaxi, Quilotoa and Banos and our guide was very knowledgeable regarding the landscape, helped with a pharmacy stop, as well as dinner reservations while in Quito. The lunch spots they chose were also very tasty and I cannot say enough about how friendly and accommodating everyone was at the two Haciendas that were chosen for us. I would not hesitate to recommend Yampu tours to travelers as well as travel advisors. Our company will be using them again next month in Ecuador and I am looking into even more adventures with this company. You will be in great hands!

We have used Yampu for a total of 4 international trips to date. We just returned from Costa Rica (July 2021) and it was an incredible adventure filled vacation. From zip-lining across the canopies, to RainForest tours, to rappelling off waterfalls, and even ATV excursions down rural paths, this was our most thrilling family vacation. In May five of us traveled privately with Yampu to Costa Rica for just under a week. Yampu did a fine job of arranging transportation, guides, hotels and tours. Originally the adventure was scheduled for 2020 and then rescheduled for 2121 because of the pandemic. Yampu was generous with travel refunds for the cancelled trip and inventive in rescheduling all this year and making changes because of the pandemic. The highlight of the excursion was seeing a male quetzal near Monteverde, an experience I had waited 61 years for. I would certainly recommend Yampu and travel with them again.

We (husband, wife and two children) have been using Yampu Tours for our family vacations since 2015. Brazil, Chile, Peru, Argentina, South Africa, and Egypt are just a few countries Yampu took us to.

As you probably have guessed, we have been extremely satisfied with our experience. The itinerary is always carefully designed and perfectly customized to our family interests / needs. The local guides picked by Yampu are the best. We have encountered more than two dozens of them so far and never had a bad experience. They are all very knowledgeable and reliable and quickly became our friends.

Yampu has made travel fun and stress-free. From the moment you arrive at the destination airport to the moment you check in your returning flight, you are 100% taken care of. We have learned to trust Yampu completely, so much so that during the trip, we often woke up in the morning at a foreign hotel, having no idea what will happen during that day, trusting Yampu will take us to amazing place and teach us everything about it.

So far, we have not been disappointed.

Yampu Tours helped me plan my trip to the Galapagos in December 2020 (yes, during COVID 19). Stephanie Rudolph was my first contact and she not only knew what to ask about, but she also helped me to decide that I wanted to be on a boat, rather than on land with day trips. She was exactly right. She and Jose Irauzqui did a great job with all of my arrangements, such as hotels in Quito, itinerary changes because of flight changes, and guides. I was very happy with this trip.

I am extremely thankful that when I was having multiple problems trying to establish a travel insurance claim and refund for the money I lost during Covid19.cancellation.the owner of the company stepped in to help me.

Jose Irauzqui jumped in to represent me and he was tenacious and he quickly earned the nickname of Bulldog. He was able to get me the refund for myself and a traveling partner.
I have traveled with Yampu before to Bhutan and India and was guided by Stephanie Rudolph. I used to joke with my friends that if I could only run my business as well as this company did, I would be a millionaire many times over. Jose and his team at Yampu performed miracles and managed to book my daughter on one of last flights out of Peru before the country closed their borders last month. I still don't know know where or how he was able to find a seat for her but I will remain forever grateful that my teenage daughter did not have to quarantine alone in a foreign country during the shutdown. I’ve traveled with Yampu for many years and they are first rate in every aspect. My schedule is crazy and they have always understood and made it easy to create world class memories on every trip with ease!

My wife and I recently traveled to India and the Maldives. This was our second trip with Yampu Tours, and it was a very complicated itinerary with visits to 5 cities within India over the course of 3.5 weeks, and ending with a 5 night stay at a resort in the Maldives. We relied on Yampu for all of the tours, the transfers, flights, drivers, etc., and most of the hotels. I love the flexibility of working with Yampu, as there was no problem with our booking an AirBnb in Delhi ourselves, and multiple changes in the itinerary due to outside-of-our-control issues (canceled flights, construction next to the hotel, etc.). Everything went exceptionally well, which is to my mind, simply amazing. I really cannot imagine arranging such a trip without Yampu’s expertise. Our Yampu agent is Stephanie Rudolph, and she rocks!!!

With no doubt, Yampu was perfect since day 1!! All the team, from the online assistance to the ground team were incredible. Recently we used the services of Yampu tours for our trip to Bali. Karolina Guilcapi gave us plenty of options and worked with us for a wonderful vacation. With Corona virus making the headlines we had to make changes to our schedule and Karolina accommodated all those changes and came up with a revised itinerary two days before we started our vacation. In Bali the representatives contacted us daily. The guide, driver and the vehicle were excellent. Thank you Yampu particularly Karolina for a wonderful vacation.

Karolina G was efficient and available from start of planning till the end of trip. I came back to Yampu to work with Karolina, specifically, after we had planned a trip and then put it off for a few years. I remembered all the hard work she did and how easy it was to work with her.

This vacation was a challenge to plan as it included my senior parents and my teenage children. In the past we have done guided tours but we needed something more personal this time. The hotels were perfect. Assistance was available everywhere for my parents who have mobility issues. Locations were great! Every guide that Karolina and Yampu contracted with was knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. We loved them all!

This trip was the culmination of 40+ years of dreaming about going to Machu Picchu for my 83-year-old mother. The climb to the viewpoint for the site was quite a challenge for her but with the help of Marco, our guide, and my husband and lots of cheering tourists along the way, she made it! It was quite a moment.

We were truly pampered by Yampu and the arrangements they made. There were a few very small glitches, the kind that happen with every trip, but nothing that wasn’t put right immediately Yampu with their 24hour travel assistance availability.

One small thing that I noticed was that the hotels in Peru are a little bit lacking in amenities that are common in the US such as tissues in the room and bar soap.

I highly recommend planning your specialty trip, a bucket list vacation, or just a getaway with yampu, and especially Karolina if you are looking for a quality product and experience!

Our specialist Karolina worked very hard building the perfect trip for our travel group to Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. We had our list of places and sights to see and she added her ideas and we had a great 31 day vacation. We had our own private driver's and guides throughout our trip.
