The auto renewal with insurance is very deceptive since the insurance is not included. I purchased my insurance else where and cancelled the Teachers Plus.

Hard to review something that you've only worked with less than a week. Would like an opportunity to review after a month. Felt mislead bout the free course. It was only the first part. Other than that. Great!

the web page for signing up for insurance, that page needs to have a detailed drop down to make the page easier, or space the choices out a little more.

It may be a little premature to be writing a review since it has been less than a week that I joined the Yoga Journal Teachers Plus community. As a new yoga instructor, I had more than a few questions. Customer Service was beyond helpful; so, as of now, I am rating this category "5" stars.

The process was easy. i would suggest updating the playlists. Looks like most were down a few years ago. Also continuing to enhance the benefits.

The total cost described in the email stated $115 and does not mention additional fees that I had to find out about at check-out and upon calling. Deceiving.

The price listed was inaccurate, and I was actually charged almost double the listed price. When I contacted customer service for assistance, I was told "apologies for the misunderstanding. The price you were charged is correct" with no explanation as to why the incorrect price was listed or without any expression of an interest on the company's part to clarify their price listing.

Website is heavy on selling policy, but very confusing and user unfriendly once the sale is done. I purchased an insurance policy for yoga instructors and can’t find anywhere to download a PDF copy of it. I had to email a request for it. The whole experience was long, confusing and unpleasant. I will not renew at the end. I’ll go back to my previous provider.

I'm going to rant for a sec. Yoga Journal offers teachers insurance with member perks. But if you can't login to your account, they don't send your reset password. Also none of the people working at yoga journal will help you "because, this is a magazine". I had to call the insurance company directly to cancel everything...also, they weren't happy either 😡 #madyogi

But there's another cool company that has even better perks than yoga journal so maybe it's a blessing

Outstanding customer service as usual. Always get people who are courteous patient and knowledgeable.

I have not been able to login to the teachers plus. I have been told I have an incorrect password. When I click forgot password I never receive an email with further instructions. I have emailed the company asking them if I am not able I login because my insurance doesn’t start until later on, but have not received an answer.
I would appreciate a response. Teachers plus is one of the reasons I joined.

Happy to have reliable yoga insurance! Need to improve the option of the magazine. The price of a subscription should not automatically be added, then later cancelled; seems a bit counter productive and a true hassle for the client. Otherwise, happy yogi over here!

I just got insurance and I do not know what else comes with it so it will be fun to see.

Yoga Journal Teachers Plus is the best. It offers professional insurance at a reasonable rate for a good amount of coverage as well as the other bonuses you receive for becoming a member of Teachers Plus. I wouldn't be without it! If you are a teacher you need to consider becoming a Teachers Plus member.
