key is an independent Edinburgh-based brand creating temporary motivational tattoos, activewear and everyday clothing with words you can carry. Founded by Katie, a mum of three and ultramarathon finisher, key grew from a personal experience. During the toughest hours of an ultramarathon, a few words on her wrist helped her pause, find her focus and keep moving. That experience inspired her to create a collection of messages for other people to take into their own challenges. Our temporary tattoo packs bring together encouragement, humour and reminders that your pace belongs here. Wear them for training, race day or any occasion when you want a little encouragement close to hand. Our clothing collection includes running tops, hoodies and pieces for adults and children. Some designs feature a message on the cuff, positioned for the wearer to read—a small reminder that is there when you need it. Great idea I’d never seen before!
Ordered the race tattoos as an extra motivation to keep going during my first ultra. There were only a few days between the launch and my race - I mentioned this to Katie and she got them to me in super quick time! They lasted the whole race (through layers on and off, race vest on and off) and when the going got really tough it was great to have those words right there to anchor me again. Thank you :)

Lovely quality product
Lovely quality product. Very friendly customer service and prompt dispatch. Superb idea putting such inspirational words to help us of the slower running persuasion feel inspired as we all attempt to reach our goals.

If you're looking for an inspirational, comfortable, fabulous looking technical top then get one from Katie at Key.....they are fantastic. And Katie is sooooo helpful with any questions and advice about sizing.
Mine will be worn on the running trails and MTB trails 😊. I love the fit and the difference messages on them . Currently eyeing up a hoodie too!!!
Would definitely recommend Key 😊🩵

Wow - for those times when you need an affirmation as a runner/walker
Wow! I’ve been following Katie for some time and have loved reading about her ultra experiences. So when she launched her products (temporary tattoos with positive affirmations and meaningful fitness gear) I had to give it a go. Especially as some of the messages on the items really resonated with me as an ultra runner/walker/crawler.
Fast dispatch, lovely quality and just a perfect pick me up - especially for those times when you need to know ‘you are enough’.
Can’t recommend highly enough. Go for it - I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
