Blocked payment INTO my account

My husband transferred £500 to my Zero account. The transfer was blocked.

Here is a copy of what they emailed me:

“ We notice your first payment to fund your zero account is from someone other than yourself.  This transfer has been temporarily blocked by our fraud rules. 

Please reply to this email within 2 working days explaining the nature of your relationship with the person who sent the money to your account and provide some evidence of the source of the funds.  This could be a bank statement in the name of the person sending the money to you (you can block out any transactions you don’t want us to see).  Alternatively, if you don’t want to send a bank statement you can ask the person to call us to confirm their intention to send you the funds.  You can call us on 02922 712242 between 9.00 and 5.30 Monday’s to Fridays, excepting bank holidays.

Once we receive this and are able to confirm the person genuinely intended to send you money, we can release it into your account.  If we do not hear from you within 2 working days we will return the funds to the person who sent them to you.”

I told them to cancel the transfer and give my husband his money back!! They agreed to do that…

7 days later, no sign of his money…

Total rubbish. I will close my account.

great personal account transfer times too long

The personal account and vurtual card are a fabulous idea as is the planet saver but ..... the wait of at least a working day to withdraw money from your savings is a massuve flaw and needs fixing in this technical age this should not take so long and leave people without funds.

Zero thinks money flies in uk. So people pay money to your account as charity or donation. You just kept open your account and receive money from random person. You don't need to work. Just verify who is the person and money is yours. Wow wow wow.

Tracking your greenscore while spending is a real eye opener.

Found Zero Recently through a friend. Finding it really interesting to follow my greenscore while spending and see how I can improve my carbon footprint where I spend.

Monzo Alternative

Use Monzo for my day to day but wanted to see what my green score looked like. Few things I’d want to see added before I switch completely but it’s a cool little app.

A win win for something I have always taken for granted

Really impressed with how quick and easy the sign up process was.

I’ve never thought much about how everyday banking could help the planet, but Zero has made that possible.

It feels good knowing that something as simple as using my card can make a difference. A win win for me! and my young daughter who is learning about being more eco friendly in school currently was impressed with my decision!

Best money app around!!!

Been using this app for over a month now and its a game changer in the industry! Extremely easy to set up and use with new features being added all the time with the added benefit of doing your bit for the planet. The card is great and the app is amazing.. I will be getting my kids also set up when they are old enough
