Ordered from purchased sample fabrics-orders accepted- fabrics unavailable-fighting for refund

I ordered samples ($30) . I then ordered $556 worth of cushion covers. Covers take up to 4 weeks.Decided to cover a bench cushion and ordered samples for that and ordered a fabric from the new samples sent. ( I had a good experience with this company with an outdoor cushion cover ordered about 18 months ago). Get a message weeks after the first order- fabric out of stock-please order another. Didn't like any other fabric and asked for a refund. Again and again, refused the refund and pushed to order another fabric. They even sent attachments of fabric photos to encourage me. The fabrics weren't even in the same color family as the one I ordered. I filed a dispute with my credit card and then got an email from ZIP- "Oh, the refund you want will go faster if you drop the dispute" . Unbelievable. Gets better. Second order , not one related fabric to first- guess what- they don"t have that fabric either. They won't even respond to my demand for a refund for the samples. Run, don't walk. This appears to be a company based in India using a Colorado address as their business address. I have no problem with that if they follow US Consumer law. They fail to fulfill the sales contract and yet would not issue a refund until I filed a dispute. I bet they do same with the second order. Again, run, don't walk away from this company.

⚠️ scam ! We lost 800 dollars

⚠️ This company appears to be fraudulent. Please be extremely careful.
I am sharing my experience in detail so that others do not go through the same situation.
I initially purchased several fabric samples from this company because I liked some of their designs. The samples took three weeks to arrive. Additionally, although the company’s website claims that it is based in the United States, the samples were clearly shipped from overseas, which already raised concerns.
After reviewing the samples, I selected my preferred fabric and placed an order for custom cushion covers totaling approximately $800. During the ordering process, I provided very clear instructions: exact sizes, detailed explanations, and even photos with markings showing precisely where the zipper should be placed on each cover.
A few days later, the company contacted me saying they would send a drawing for confirmation of the zipper placement. When I reviewed the drawing, the zipper was shown in a completely different position from what I had clearly specified. I immediately emailed them pointing out the error and requesting corrections.
Despite this, they replied with: “Thank you for your confirmation! We will proceed with production based on this drawing.” This response completely ignored my correction and falsely implied that I had approved the incorrect design, which I absolutely had not.
I then urgently contacted customer service by phone. It was obvious that the call was being handled outside the U.S., and the connection quality was very poor, making communication difficult. Eventually, they sent me a new, corrected drawing, and I explicitly approved it so that production could proceed.
However, just a few days later, I received another email stating that the fabric I had chosen was sold out, that they did not know when it would be restocked, and that I should choose a different fabric instead. Since it is impossible to properly judge fabric quality and texture on a screen, this was unacceptable to me. I had paid for samples and waited three weeks specifically to avoid this situation. I therefore requested a full refund.
In response, they said they were “checking” when the original fabric might become available, but admitted they did not know when that would be, nor when it would arrive. They again insisted that I either wait indefinitely or choose a different fabric. I replied once more that I did not agree to either option and requested a refund again. They then sent me the same message again, repeating themselves without addressing my request.
At this point, I sent a firm email asking whether they were intentionally repeating the same response to delay issuing a refund. Only then did they reply that my case would be transferred to the refund department and that I would hear back within 24 hours.
Several days have passed since that email, and I have received no response. I called customer service again and was told a representative would call me back within 24 hours, but no call has been returned.
Based on this entire experience, I believe this company engages in deceptive and potentially fraudulent business practices, particularly when it comes to avoiding refunds. I have already contacted my credit card company and the appropriate consumer protection agencies, and I am preparing to pursue further action, including legal options.
Please be warned: do not trust this company simply because it claims to be registered in the United States. In my experience, it appears to operate overseas and does not conduct business in a transparent or ethical manner.

I’m so impressed with the craftsmanship…

I’m so impressed with the craftsmanship of my custom cushion covers from ZIPCushions! The fabric quality is exceptional, and the attention to detail is unmatched. The colors and textures perfectly complement my furniture, giving my outdoor space a fresh, stylish upgrade. The entire process was smooth, and the team was incredibly helpful with their recommendations. Highly recommend if you want top-notch products and great customer service!

The absolute worst customer service of…

The absolute worst customer service of any company I’ve ever dealt with. They claim to be a Colorado company but the cushions are made outside of the USA and if there are any issues they do not stand behind their work.
