Zynlo has good interest rates my…

Zynlo has good interest rates my problem is their ATM card I go to ATM and it says declined have to call support which the current time the service said we no longer handle zynlo cards now I got to find new number to call so I have my mom on my account so I go to ATM I get out 300$ decided out card right back in to get another 200 out and now declines now my card don't work my moms card not working have 5000$ in their checking and can't take any out this has happened 5 times had to call to get my card to work on the app says card is active and all good but don't work support told me the card is fine no problem had to call 5 mins later and tell them it's not finally got a supervisor on and said oh because I used it for gas in different state they blocked card I'm afraid to use it in closing my account and going somewhere else

Horrible bank

Horrible bank! Avoid this bank- they do not take IRS refund checks, and electronic deposits can take over a week. They hold your money hostage. Not to mention they do not communicate. Stay away. I can not get my money out of this bank fast enough.

I opened a Zynlo acct without much…

I opened a Zynlo acct without much trouble. I deposited the initial funds needed to open the account and then I haven’t been able to access my acct since.
I am currently still locked out going on a week now. I contacted customer service and one agent stated (very rudely) I had recieved an ach deposit to my acct and it’s under review.
I waited a few days and called back and second agent stated they didn’t see no deposits and my account was fine. Well which is it? Am I not allowed to receive a deposit without a review? Is this not a bank account? Deposit and spend money isn’t that what you do with a bank account?
Still no access to my account I can’t even see who sent me money or how much. If you intend to use a Zynlo bank account to you know do banking don’t they will lock your account and give no transparent reason why. Horrible banking practices. Find another account to use besides Zynlo because they are horrible!

Interest was generated on October 31…

Interest was generated on October 31 and I have yet to see it available in my account. I keep getting the same response six days later. Very frustrating and difficult bank to deal with. They blame it on the software.

At first it seemed okay..

At first it seemed okay... but then the money took forever to transfer and we couldn't get our joint account set up. They didn't offer any sort of way to help us set up the joint account just a cancellation Docusign. Disappointed because I was thinking this company would be great for our recent real estate profit. Customer service did literally nothing to keep us... would have recommended them to others in similar positions but now will be doing the opposite.

Too many bank games

Teaser rate of 5% dropped a week later to 4.4%. Cumbersome to open account with many delays. They hold your deposit for
way too long before crediting your account and paying you interest.. Too many bank games.

too ridiculous to exist

Today I got their denial message regarding my hysa application. I totally forgot I did it. It was like 2 months ago. I couldn't believe it took them so long to process such a simply application. I am glad it was denied, which let me know how unreliable they are in advance. It could take them half a year or forever to process a small amount transfer should I open an account with them and become their client.

Very cumbersome procedure for opening a saving account online.

I attempted to open a savings account online at Zynlo Bank on 12/25/2024. I had open several such accounts online over the years pretty much instantly or perhaps a day or two. That was far from the case with Zynlo Bank.

I instantly received an email from them that stated:
"Your application is currently being processed. We appreciate your patience. You should receive additional communication from us in the next 24-48 business hours." Ok, that's great. It is a major holiday after all.

During the week I received 5 emails from them stating that they needed more information, and that I needed to get in touch with their customer support.

On Jan 1, 2025 I wrote back asking what the problem was, but I got no response until today three full weeks later by phone. He apologized for having taken so long to phone - now four full weeks. I expressed my concern that that opening an account was taking so long, and expressed my doubt that any problem that I might have after my account is opened would be resolved any more quickly. When he said that it would take another 24 to 48 hours I told him thanks, but no thanks.

Kinda misleading

I opened the account because they offer a 5% apy on their savings account as long as you open a checking account too. Within a week they dropped their rate from 5% to 4.35%. Kind of dissapointing but still a decent rate. What really left a bad taste in my mouth is that they offer a 100 day 100% match on your spending. So they round up your transaction to the nearest dollar and then match it. They fail to mention that this match starts immediately but you can't take advantage of it until you get your debit card. It took about two weeks to get mine, and then still I couldn't use it because I had to transfer money from previous bank account to my zynlo account and that takes an additional three business days. I was not able to transfer money before then because I needed to keep money in my original banking account so I could survive since I couldn't access my funds with my zynlo account until I got a debit card. Overall, it's a bit misleading and I don't feel like the bank is fully transparent or trustworthy.

Good APY on savings, but limitations on account.

I was attracted by their advertised 5% APY on their Tomorrow Savings account, but found it had several deficiencies. They do NOT provide the ability to name a beneficiary on the account and they do NOT allow accounts owned by a Trust. Additionally, they do NOT do incoming or outgoing wire transfers. All transfers are done via ACH and take 1-3 business days (not bad). I found these limitations unsuitable for my needs - too bad, they offer a good rate.

Disappointed in customer service and software

I've never had such a hard time opening an account. I unfroze my credit with all three credit institutions and even waited a day, as customer service suggested, but to no avail. It is frustrating to be denied opening an account because their system didn't verify me even after I confirmed with the three credit institutions that I had unfrozen my credit. Additionally, their system doesn't allow manually opening accounts unless another person is added to a joint account after opening the account. So, due to their software and lack of workaround, it would be impossible for me to open an account with them. No apologies were made for the hassle, inconvenience, and time wasted.

Great interest rates and service.

Great interest rates, 2% for checking, and ~5% for savings and money market.

Zynlo's bill pay is very good. New payee entry is very simple. Making payments is even easier.

No regrets leaving Bank of the West / BMO.

24/7 phone customer service. Email response is prompt.
