Such terrible quality

Such terrible quality.
I bought a gold ring less than 2 years ago. After 6 months I had to get the edges re-plated. Which they did do for free. I was happy…. Until… another 9 months passes and the edges needed to be re-plated again!! This time they wanted to charge me do it. Why would I pay for re-plating when the first time they did it, it didn’t last 9 months?!
A ring that needs to be fixed twice in under 2 years, is not plated with enough gold. They are cutting corners.

I work behind a computer most of the time and don’t wear the ring when doing Physical tasks that might damage the ring. So, it’s not my fault. It’s the quality of the plating is not up to par.

The problem with companies these types of companies is that they are all about image and they don’t give a damn about quality or customer satisfaction. They have now lost a customer for life.

We are very sorry to hear that this is the idea you have ended up having about us.
We are always doing our utmost to make high quality products and make our customers happy.

We have been testing our gold plating a lot before we even went online and are still testing. I 100% stand up for our quality and craftsmanship which I know is high standard. However you can not guarantee how long a plating will last since this is a matter of how you treat your jewellery, etc.
A gold plating will not last forever since it is a plating, then you should go for a solid gold ring which will always be gold, which is also one of our services.
I will however say that our 5 micron 22 karat gold plating is really strong and I have been wearing the same jewellery for many years which is still gold plated and not faded yet.

We have our gold plating service to make sure we can regild and in that way make your gold plated rings last forever.
This service we can not do for free as we expect you to understand - you will however only pay for the gold you get on your ring, and the process of cleaning and regilding we do not charge anything for.

As we have been telling you in the store and my text you are very welcome to visit our store again, so I (Louise) can have one more look at your ring and advise what we can do and what may have happened with your ring. We would always like to help the best way possible and make sure you will still be able to carry your ring with happiness.
