Your website promises a process that is incredibly easy and straightforward, which is why I thought it would be right for me. My husband and I have no significant debt, no major assets, and have been separated for 20 years.

Maybe I should have known better, but I paid you, completed the forms with basic information, and then proceeded to read the Illinois Filing Instructions. I believe that I have a basic level of intelligence and am considered to be thoughtful and organized, which is why I cannot figure out how the process you've outlined after simply providing forms is considered manageable, much less simple for most other users.

I will not be taking the steps I need to at this point and don't have money for a lawyer to supplement what I've already paid for (as you recommend at various points) or to start from the beginning, but having read about payment, do not expect you to do the right thing and provide a refund.

I just wanted you to know how disappointed and frustrated I am by the difference between what you promised and what I am left with.

Less than satisfactory. I was disappointed when I logged back in to the site after the Initial log to finish my paper work. I found it nearly in possible time go back and complete all unanswered questions.

I ended up hiring a lawyer and pay them to file it. Money well wasted.

None of the forms we used were accepted by the court in New Hampshire for my simple, uncontested divorce. We were not even splitting things up...
I thought this would be perfect for a simple divorce by using this site, and it was until everything was rejected by the court because the format was not the same as what the state provides. So I had to redo everything on their forms. Big waste of $300. The case worker was very helpful filling everything out, more so than this site, and best of all TOTALLY FREE!!!

My forms were all messed up and it took forever to fix them at the courthouse. Definitely made things more confusing, waste of money. I’m super poor. I feel like this is a scam.

I have to review all that I printed out however I am still waiting to receive the papers they were supposed to send me in the mail.

I ended up hiring an attorney to review as the docs looked outdated. Attorney confirmed, docs were from about 8 years ago, attorney ended up working them up himself as fixing the out of date docs was more difficult then just starting over. If the divorce is uncontested just find an attorney that will work up docs for a reasonable price and go that route.

I think getting a divorce was right for me and I liked 3 step divorce

This was the greatest an easy way to do a no-contest divorce all the paperwork was done for you. You just give them the information and printed out take your petition to the file Clerk pay your 297.00 wait on your letter from the Judge and go to court give your final decree and wait for divorce papers. No stress🦋

Easy, convenient and affordable

I really felt like 3StepDivorce was going to guide me through the process after reviewing the site and related testimonials, but I found that the order and organization of the required documents is off and I still had to spend far too much time waiting on hold with the court staff to make sure I had the correct forms, which are all on the county site anyway. This was a waste of money.

This is the thing - the claims for 3StepDivorice make it seem so simple, they create the forms and you just file them with the court, they say they give you exact instructions on how do to that, but that's not actually not accurate. They do help you generate the forms -- but in my state you can generate the same forms for free on the legal aid site. We spent a lot of time completing the forms, but then it got really confusing. The directions at the end talked all about making copies and paper clipping them together and then it essentially said you had to bring them to the courthouse, so in my research in figuring out how to do that I found out that those are old instructions, everything has to be e-filed unless you get some kind of waiver and there are zero e-filing instructions on the document and in fact all of the instructions are very confusing. There is also another form our state requires that they did not provide. Also nowhere before you begin do they tell you there is an additional filing fee through the court. The bottom line is they make it seem like they do more than they do the instructions are outdated. If you do some research you may find your state's legal aid site provides the same program and must better information for free. Also my state requires a class, which they want to you "buy" through the website but there was a significant mark-up in price and there is really no advantage to signing up for it through them. On the positive note, after I figured out it was pretty much useless, they did refund our money promptly.

It says that you will get your money back, thats not true. Regardless you will pay. Emailed immediately after purchasing and still haven't heard anything back..still getting charged.

I found the platform to be easy to follow and was very comprehensive. It was so comprehensive that I found it to be time consuming and cumbersome to complete. I didn't realize how much so until I attempted to get the forms notarized to file with my county. They would not notarize them without a case number. I couldn't get a case number without filing. I called the county and learned that their own forms, which were downloadable on the county website were much simpler and did not require notary, only signatures. Shame on me for not checking there first. I could have saved myself $300 and a lot of time by starting out calling my county courthouse! I imagine though that with counties that are not as user friendly as mine this would be a very beneficial program.

Call your local courthouse before paying for this service. I wasted money.

Easy to use and navigate.

I think that if you have already had a divorce in your past, then this might be a good option for you but if you are an average person with no lawful background then this is not as easy a process as described. I think its a good thought but there should really be a worker assigned to each profile made on the sight to help them through the process.

Sure they give you all the forms but they take the absolute bare minimum information. They leave you to fend for yourself on the harder parts but give you information sheets. All of these forms can be found on your county information website. What they provide is basically holding the pen while you spell your name. Avoid and just print your own forms. They don’t actually help with anything of substance.
