Wines, Lies and Excuses
I buy a lot of wine and gave 8Wines a go. However my 2 deliveries were an absolute nightmare. My most recent involved 4 changes to actual delivery, 19 emails, many texts, countless calls and one lie after another. 8Wines HELP line is there for lip-service, to appease the client, they do nothing but tell lies. I cancelled my account. A truly horrible experience.

Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry that this delivery experience was so frustrating and that the courier process involved so many changes, messages, and calls.
After reviewing the shipment, we understand that the main complications occurred within the UPS Italy delivery process. The delivery address required a postcode correction, and the shipment was later affected by an operational delay in the UPS network between Milan and the final delivery area. These issues were unfortunately outside of our direct control, particularly as the order was shipped using standard delivery.
We would also like to clarify that the majority of the communication you mention appears to have been directly between you and UPS, rather than with our support team. Our team shared the courier updates available to us at the time and did not intend to mislead you in any way.
That said, we fully understand that the overall delivery experience fell short of expectations, and we regret that it left you with such a negative impression of 8Wines. We will continue working with our delivery partners to improve reliability and communication wherever possible.
We are sorry to lose you as a customer and hope we may have an opportunity in the future to provide the level of service you expected from us.

Very disappointing experience with 8wines
Very disappointing experience with 8Wines.
We ordered 10 bottles of wine, but only 8 bottles were delivered.
During transport UPS informed us that the parcel had been damaged and would be returned to the sender. Later the story suddenly changed and the parcel was delivered anyway.
When we received the package it had clearly been repacked by UPS, and after checking the packing slip we discovered that two bottles were missing from the order.
The most frustrating part is the handling by 8Wines. Instead of taking responsibility or providing a clear solution, we only receive vague replies saying they will “check with UPS”.
When ordering wine online at this price level, customers expect professional handling if something goes wrong during shipping. Unfortunately that has not been the case here.
Conclusion:
Nice selection of wines, but if something goes wrong with delivery, customer service is extremely disappointing.
