I placed an order on the 18th of April based on a pic I sent them. Had to email them numerous times just to even see a preview. I haven't heard anything since then, despite reaching out to "Josh" many times.
Absolute waste of time and money. They are thieves

I sent a personal photo to be my painting and I was happily surprised to get an email with the preview image. Prior to this I had wondered if it would fit right or if there was enough detail in the picture that the painting would look like the real people in the photo. I’m so happy with the results! I can’t wait to paint it!

They looked up a 3 year old painting to send me some paint! Thank You SO Much!!

I’ve had the same experience as many others: poor communication after the initial order confirmation. I asked repeatedly for an anticipated shipping date and never received one. After 6 weeks of waiting and not knowing what to expect, i cancelled my order and disputed the charge with my credit card company. I received a refund from them immediately.

I think they did a great job with the photo I sent!

My wife gifted me a painting kit but I needed a frame. I ordered the frame from this site back in the last week of December.

I waited before emailing asking about a status update - this email was ignored. I followed up after a couple days, and some “Josh” guy said he would send tracking within 24 hours.

This email never arrived.

I emailed back, and then back again asking for the refund/return policy.. again, no answer.

It’s a wooden frame, no more than $20… not a huge amount, but it’s how they are running their business that makes me feel defrauded.

Excellent service. Can’t wait to get canvas to paint. The preview looks just like the picture I sent.

There is a reason Aanabanana does not post reviews with kits and makes you go to an outside site to see the reviews ... I bought a small kit called Greeting Card for Christmas and it was the first time in over 5 years of doing extensive paint-by-number kits that I actually threw one away! Paint quality was subpar -- I had to apply 4-5 coats on many spots, and at least 2-3 coats on the rest -- and it still looked cheap & poorly covered! The printing of numbers and lines can appear so thick and dark that covering them with the poor paint quality is nearly impossible. I even tried using white out to cover up some of the numbers that were supposed to be painted over with the watery-thin yellows and whites but it didn't help. What a terrible experience. And this was an item that took over a month to receive after ordering! That should've been my first clue that this is not a company I will continue to do business with. There are so many other paint-by-number companies available now ... And after reading other reviews here that line up with my experience there should be one less company on the market, Aanabanana!

Wish I could subtract some stars! Worst customer service I have EVER dealt with. After weeks and weeks of being completely ignored, I finally received what was supposed to be a custom paint-by-number canvas stretched on a frame with paints and brushes. But it was just a sloppily rolled up (very wrinkled) canvas, not only not on a frame but no frame was included. It did have the promised paints and brushes. I tried for DAYS AND DAYS to reach someone, by the supposed 24/7 online chat (nobody EVER answers it), by multiple emails (in which I even BEGGED for help), and by phone. Finally I received a separate package that was a DYS frame in 4 pieces. The next day they FINALLY emailed me to tell me they had now sent me my framed stretched canvas so the matter should be closed. No! I received no such thing! And I have sent photos and multiple emails but again am being completely ignored. I didn't pay for a DYS kit--I paid the considerably extra to get it framed and ready to paint--or else I'd have not ordered it in the first place. I had even PAID THEM THE SUGGESTED TIP! But as far as they are concerned, I guess, they got my money so it doesn't matter if I received WHAT I ORDERED! They obviously couldn't care less about customers once they get your money.

Order AB20234421. This is a order number from Singapore on 18Jun2024 local time. Had not been shipped till now. No response from Customer Service despite checking. Strongly discourage international customers to order from this website!!! My payment is lost.

Amazing customer service! Very quick response to our order. My first photo was too small and it was requested I send an un-cropped picture instead. I like that a preview was sent before going to production as I was able to change the background a bit. I would definitely order again!

I have ordered custom prints twice from Aanabanana. Both experiences have been outstanding. I love that they help you out with your custom photo. The first time they suggested my print would look better on a different sized canvas and they were right! The painting was beautiful. The second time, they emailed me that the photo I submitted needed to be fine tuned a bit, which they did and the preview they sent me looks wonderful. I cannot wait to paint it. The canvas comes rolled in a very sturdy tube. The paints are great. I would advise using a coat or two of clear gesso before painting.

I ordered 4 kits on 12/30/23. Besides the initial email confirming my purchase, I have received no updates since. I’ve sent emails and gotten no reply. I’ve done their “chat” where they indicate 24/7 availability and no bots (twice). Nothing. Website indicates shipping within 5 days. I’m working with PayPal to get my refund. Very disappointed.

I was sent the preview for my painting, and was allowed to ask for more details !
Someone (a human, not a bot !) discussed the possibility to improve the quality of the preview and gave me good advice,
I am totally satisfied and looking forward to see the result ! Thank you Anaabanana

Felt very thought out

Loved the two cute minis I received.
The Sloth was perfect and paint in good shape.
Unfortunately, the Flamingo’s paint was completely dried out. In their defense, I didn’t complain as I mixed my own from my professional supplies.

Very responsive customer service, they were very helpful and responded quickly when I had a problem with my order.

I had concerns about whether or not I uploaded my photo correctly. They answered promptly and showed me the photo cropped the way it will be on my painting. I am more than happy with such a quick response.
