Easy from start to finish, the installer was friendly and came back when we had a query on installation. Side door looks lovely, would definitely order again if we upgrade our main garage door.

Door to Door
Our initial experience was disappointing because, as it turns out, our garage ceiling is bowed and this went unnoticed on the initial assessment. As a result, the door fitted the aperture correctly but wouldn't open. A second surveyor identified the problem and the door was re-installed and mounted at a slight forward angle. This allows it to clear both the ceiling and the ground beneath. Pleasant and skilled operatives but some administrative hiccoughs (i.e. being sent the wrong invoice etc.) There was also a delay of nearly a month before the new door was installed and operational.

Hi John, thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re sorry the unusual combination of the external floor level and bowed internal ceiling caused complications with the initial installation. Once the issue became clear, we’re pleased our team was able to reassess the situation and find a solution that allowed the door to operate correctly. We also appreciate your patience while the additional visits were arranged and your comments regarding the administrative hiccups along the way. Thank you for recognising the work of our installation team, and we hope you’re now very happy with the finished result.

Re tensioned and aligned 64 garage
Firstly I must apologise for the late review! From the beginning of the job when I contacted Clinton who answered the phone promptly at around 07:34 was amazing! His tone on the phone was professional and understanding to the needs of my repair. He booked John in to do the repair, who arrived within the timeframe allotted and was again, professional and attentive to detail to realign and tension my garage door, to what is now like a brand new door again. So thank you all for your wonderful service.

Hi Mark, no apology needed - we’re very grateful you took the time to leave us such a thoughtful review. It’s wonderful to hear how well you were looked after by Clinton from that first phone call and by John on the repair itself. Giving an existing garage door a new lease of life is always a great result, and we’re so pleased yours now feels like a brand new door again. We’ll make sure your kind words are passed on to them both. Thank you for choosing Access Garage Doors!

Repairing an Access Garage Door
We have had Access Garage Doors for a good number of years. The equipment is of a good quality. However, today the garage door got stuck open so I called them to come and repair it. Today is August 28, 2026. They said they could not send out a service engineer until mid October 2026, so from a service point of view I would avoid this company. This is the second time they have failed to provide emergency servicing.

Hi JJ, thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry that we were unable to offer you an earlier appointment, particularly with your garage door stuck open. While we provide repairs and servicing, we don’t operate an emergency call-out service and, during particularly busy periods, our engineers can be fully booked some weeks ahead. Unfortunately, this means there are occasions when we simply cannot attend as quickly as a customer needs us to. We completely understand that in your circumstances the wait we offered wasn’t suitable, and we’re sorry we weren’t able to help you on this occasion.
