Patch was so thorough and detail oriented for addressing our needs in rooms. This was the first time using the service and I HIGHLY recommend it! In the past, we have made our own reservations and asked questions ahead, but never as thoroughly addressed them as AccessibleGO. On our past arrivals, even though verified as best we could, we would still go in closing our eyes and crossing our fingers, hoping everything was as stated. With Patch doing the leg work and gathering pictures that even included measurements with a carpenter's tape, we feel much more secure. She even requested that they put a note to not adjust/move the room to another prior to our arrival. Traveling can be difficult at times with a disability, but this is one way to decrease that stress and increase the pleasure of the experience

It feels great to have a liaison

Received an email from accessiblego that they contacted hotel on my behalf to ensure that I would have an accessible room when I arrive. Those conversations haven’t always gone well when reaching out to hotel myself so I am grateful for a liaison.

There is NOTHING comparable in the on-line travel sector! Personalized service! My request was for international travel, which AccessibleGo hasn’t yet fully rolled out, but the service I have received is actually better than my American Express Platinum Card travel services. We travel often and intend to make this company our go to venue when the need arises.

Santa Barbara trip hotel bed height

My fiance and I were planning a trip to Santa Barbara, CA, and had a terrible time finding a hotel that didn't have a bed that was too high for me to transfer onto from my wheelchair (I need a bed about 20" from floor to top of mattress). Patch and the team were able to locate a hotel with a bed height of 22", which was very doable.
The room was completely accessible and looked great, and my fiance and I had a wonderful time in Santa Barbara!
AccessibleGO was a great help!

AccessibleGo is such a helpful tool

I recently used AccessibleGo to book a hotel in Vilano Beach, Florida. Being able to see what handicap accessible amenities were available at the various hotels in the area was a tremendous help. My son has a traumatic brain injury and is in a wheelchair so it is necessary we have the correct accommodations when traveling. The additional bonus in using AccessibleGo is the added benefit of their staff then contacting the hotel you have booked to verify the accessibility. Less than 24 hours after booking, I received an email with details about the accessible room I had booked noting the roll-in shower and location of the room as well as other pertinent information. I would definitely recommend using AccessibleGo!

Never Again!!!!

I received a message from you confirming that I would have an accessible room although they didn't have a roll-shower available for those days I would have a shower chair to put in the tub..when I checked in I was told there were no shower chairs or accessible rooms available!..they had no extra pillows and I couldn't even buy water!!!the toilet paper holder fell off the wall soon as I checked in room.the bed was too high to get in I will NOT choose this hotel again!!!!!!!☹️They did put my room on the first floor👍🏽

Every customer experience matters to us and we are very disappointed to hear about your poor stay at this property despite our best efforts to communicate your needs that the hotel. Our team did email you twice with no response on the issue of the shower chair, first on Dec 9 and when we were concerned that you did not respond, again on Dec 10 to inform you that the hotel could not provide a shower chair.
We are very sorry to hear that the hotel did not have extra pillows or water for sale and that the toilet paper holder fell off the wall. This sounds like a very unpleasant stay and we take all feedback to heart. We did communicate with the hotel several times to get the measurement of the bed height and it sounds like they definitely made a mistake in reporting this critical information to us. As we start to launch our hotel certification program, we hope that our certification process will prevent situations like the one you encountered. We are deeply sorry for this experience and please know that we are always trying to improve our offering and are grateful for your critical feedback. We hope that you will also submit a review of the hotel to warn others about this hotel’s efforts on accessibility.

NO reason NOT to book on AccessibleGo!

AccessibleGo has been of tremendous help to me on numerous occasions with customized start-to-finish reservations assistance for my unique needs. The site works just like any other booking site, with the added benefit of clear accessibility options and personalized help from the staff at AccessibleGo who go the extra mile after your booking to reach out to your hotel and ensure your accessibility requests are fulfilled. Nothing is left to be wondering about when I make a reservation with AccessibleGo, even a last-minute reservation. Staff member Patch at AccessibleGo has been especially helpful in personally reaching out to me via E-mail even during last-minute situations to make sure my needs are met with confirmations from hotel staff members, phone numbers to call if I need any help, etc. It truly feels like VIP service. Another perk is special, discounted rates for AccessibleGo members (free to be a member of AccessibleGo)! Certain hotels will offer discounted rates above and beyond what you'd ordinarily see through competitor booking sites when booking on AccessibleGo. It's clear to see these rates on the site. All in all, there's absolutely NO reason NOT to book on AccessibleGo if you have a disability or accessible needs, or if you are traveling with someone who does.

Hooray for those hotel accessibility confirmations!

Patch worked a last minute miracle to make our trip happen. Our original hotel has mis-advertised their room as "accessible", but it was not, as discovered by Patch when she called to confirm. We needed a roll-in shower, bars near the toilet and 2 beds. Patch found us a replacement just a few days before the trip and it was perfect. We even got upgraded from the hotel. Great job!
