Did not answer their phone on the day…
Did not answer their phone on the day of our move and then TEXTED us that they had Cancel after they were unresponsive and already 2 hours late. Completely screwed our flight and moving plan
Horrible, horrible, horrible experience
Horrible experience. Watches and grandfather's wedding ring were stolen. Numberous items were damaged. Strangers pilfered through all our boxes. My golf cart was dented, the seat was ripped and the windsheild was cracked. Moving bid was $4,800. After half the truck was half loaded they told me it was going to be $7,800. It ended up being $8,200. They told me on May 6th delivery would not be until between the 15th and 20th. I canceled my flight for teh 7th. They then called me on the 8th telling me the truck was deliverying on the 9th and if I was not there to receive it would be another 15 to 30 days. I booked a flight that day and paid a 250% premium. Repair to golf cart estimate was $2,877. Stolen watches and damaged goods were in the thousand$$$. Granfather's ring was priceless. After 8 to 10 hours collecting repair bids, finding website links to justify replacement costs of items stolen and filling out all their paper work, they offered me $500 total. Please do not use these people or you will be sorry and call me if you have any questions. Dewey Davis (425) 830-2733.

DO NOT use this company. I had the worst experience with them. I spoke with their moving specialist Anthony and he convinced me to go with them by stating that they do not charge extra once they come out because we would FaceTime and he would see everything I had to move so the quote would be accurate!! When the mover did come out I did have 14 more boxes than the original quote and 2 suit case and because if that they charged me $2000.00 extra. When I asked to speak to the supervisor he basically said that’s how it is and to deal with it!! Now I get that they charge by cubic feet and not the number of items but you can’t tell me that 14 boxes and 2 suit cases it 322 extra cubic feet that my original quote. Then the movers turned my entertainment center that has a fire place in it upside down and I paid them extra to box up my 70 inch tv and all they did was shrink wrap it and stand it up in the truck and strap it down with a ratchet strap!!
Then I was also told by Anthony that my stuff would be delivered on the 24th of April. But when I called to double check delivery they said they had no idea when my stuff would be delivered and just kept telling me they needed more time to work on it! I was also told that Anthony with have never told me a specific date to which I said then pull the phone calls and check to which they said they would of course never did or if they did they heard what he said and just didn’t care!! Took them 2 weeks to deliver my stuff and I only moved from CO to Vegas so it’s not that far! I asked to speak with Anthony as he was the one I worked with and they refused to let me once they had my stuff and were holding it hostage and stated I would have to only go through customer service now that my items were picked up!! That’s pretty crappy that we wouldn’t let me speak to the person that made all these promises to me! My advice, find a different moving company!!

Communication from customer service was on top of everything during entire process. Movers were professional, helpful, and hard working. Everything was handled quickly and smoothly. Would definitely use this company again and highly recommended to friends.

I would like to start off by saying that we all have bad experience moving , sometimes things do get there as they should two things I notice about Adams , first they were on time getting there and dropping of my stuff it was 5 weeks before my wedding , and second I was rushing to wrap my things with news paper when Anthony Hernandez started helping me now I know that's not his job but he still did it and am thankful my fiance was at a business meeting and I was very overwhelmed that it took a load of , my things were not damage and when dropping off my belonging I loved the fact they placed everything in one side of the house not like other. Companies that leave things where ever there's space my experience over all was great and honestly I do recommend them. I hope this helps ppl that might be going through the same thing.

This company is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE...
This company is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE.... and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL... After paying 26k to move from Houston to Georgia I'm embarrassed to say we used this family owned business. They tore up almost everything we own from our dining room table to all of our bedroom furniture. Every piece of furniture we own has scratches or broken. Also they boxed up our car keys so we had to pay a tow truck to come out and tow the car next door then wait a week for our stuff to get delivered so we could find the car keys. They gave someone else our 70" TV and gave us their 50" TV. Nothing was wrapped up pictures and glass just thrown in boxes. All of our clothes that were on hangers just shoved in boxes. None of our TVs had the power cords or remotes with them still can not find them. TV brackets don't have the screws that go with them. I could just keep going on and on but it's pointless. If you need a moving company DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY spend the extra money and use someone professional. If you don't care about the stuff you work hard for then they're great but if yout like me and work very had and appreciate everything you do have DO NOT USE THEM.

I was given two dates for which these movers would arrive at my house and they wrote both on the contract, so I based my life around these two dates because I had their guarantee. When they arrived a day late, the site manager said this is to be expected with moving companies that are not Mayflower or the larger more reputable national brands. I said this delay caused me a financial hardship. He said, ‘yeah, whatever.’ He then views the contents my house (which were all packed and ready) and said it would now cost me double, at least. I said I’m not comfortable paying that, especially since I used my phone in a walk through on video, to show the salesperson the contents of my house when booking my move, and he never said a word about doubling any price. Long story short, the site manager who arrived at my home said this is to expected with these kinds of non national moving companies. I said, fine, then please refund my deposit as Mark said they would if they couldn’t meet the dates. He said they would not do that. This place is a total rip off. The person ‘Mark’ who booked my move said I would have total access to him throughout the move. But when they couldn’t meet the days THEY set on the contract, I didn’t hear one word back from him. Numerous calls and not a word. Anyone looking for a reputable moving company, avoid Adam’s moving and storage in San Diego. At least the site manager was honest when he said unless you hire a big name mover with a national brand, you are at our mercy. Period. Plus, after he told me it would cost at least double, I asked him to let me speak to a manager and no manager would speak to me, although the site manager was on the phone with him several times as I was standing there at his truck. PLEASE, when you are considering a move, stay as far away from these people as you can! They prey on people, tell you what you want to hear. You will be sorry.
