An absolutely outstanding experience with Dr Shymaa
I honestly cannot praise Dr Shymaa enough. From the moment the assessment started, she made what could have been a very daunting and emotional appointment feel relaxed, comfortable and completely non-judgemental.
She was incredibly professional, but also genuinely warm and caring. You could immediately tell how passionate she is about her work and how much she truly cares about the children and families she works with.
What meant the most to me was the way she included my son throughout the assessment. She took the time to explain ADHD to him in a way he could understand, including what it means for him, rather than simply talking about him as though he wasn’t there. That really stood out to me as a mum.
The appointment was emotional for me, and I did shed quite a few tears. Dr Shymaa gave me the space to do that without ever making me feel rushed, dismissed or like I was “too much”. She listened to everything I had to say, even when I inevitably started rambling! 😂 She was patient, attentive and genuinely interested in understanding my son as a whole child.
I came away from the appointment feeling heard, understood and reassured that my concerns had been taken seriously.
Dr Shymaa is a credit to her profession, and I feel incredibly grateful that she was the person who assessed my son. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to any parent going through this process. ❤️

Life changing experience
The only way I can think of putting this is, ADHD Certify changed my life.
I spent nearly 35 years struggling with some of lifes most basic tasks and since getting my first appointment, things have got easier. I've been treated like a human, treated with respect and listened to, which isn't always easy. I can't reccomend them enough.
I want to make a special mention for Annisah, who has taken all of the stress out of my medication reviews and helped me along the way, thank you.

My true feelings
This assessment was something i had put off for some time but i did some research, ( i know someone who had used ADHD certify) and booked a slot suitable for me, also with a discount code from website (i payed private). I wasnt sure what to expect and i had played numerous scenarios in my head so i wrote notes which may or may not have been helpful. The assessors picture was not available on website so i didn’t know what to expect, she rang me to let me know of a technical issues she was having so was running a bit late. When assessment started i was happy to see Kerri was a normal everyday person which made me feel at ease. I only had my phone for video assessment so was holding it throughout so i dont think my fidget/active side was as visible as it could have been. Kerri was fantastic, i didnt feel rushed and she contacted me later with results and again listened to me as she said she wanted me to feel heard which i did. I think for me the only thing i thought that would have been of benefit to me with time blindness and no clock in the room i was in was an initial ‘your session is ….long’ and i would have asked for an alarm 15 minutes before the end as i know i had so much to say/overshare but that alarm could have helped me know the session was coming to a close. I know everyone is different. I have since recommended ADHD certify to people looking at assessment process

Friendly and understanding staff
Friendly and understanding staff. The whole assessment and medication process was straightforward and informative. A thorough assessment and detailed plan of support was provided quickly for my 15 year old daughter.
My daughter is now trying medication and is has a positive approach to this. The medication appointment was so understanding and explained everything simply. Would highly recommend ADHD certify. Wish we'd started the process sooner.

Excellent experience from start to finish
Toni made the whole assessment really comfortable and was so friendly and professional. She was able to tell me at the time what the diagnosis was and asked relevant questions regarding her help I needed in education and future employment. The report and supporting letters came within the agreed timeframe, in fact they were earlier. I would definitely recommend using ADHD Certify for your assessment.

I can only comment on the booking and assessment phase, as I don't think I want to go down the medication route.
Booking was extremely straightforward. There were plenty of appointments to choose from. I only had a 4 day wait from booking to assessment. I also want to add the price is very fair and I chose to pay over 3 months.
The online link was super easy.
Toni was so lovely, and immediately helped me feel at ease.
The assessment itself was quite emotionally tough for me as I was openly acknowledging elements about myself that I'm not happy about, but Toni helped me understand that I shouldn't feel ashamed or try to hide who I am.
Toni made every question easy to understand and I felt comfortable answering everything throughout.
I was able to get feedback straight after which I was so grateful for as the waiting for the outcome would have really stressed me out.
I would 100% recommend this company to anyone who is looking for an assessment but doesn't want to wait the NHS waiting times.

Positive experience with supportive assessor
I was very grateful to get a next-day appointment with ADHD Certify. Booking the appointment and completing the questionnaires was straightforward.
Hayley conducted my assessment and immediately put me at ease. I was very anxious, but her understanding, patience and reassurance helped me to answer openly and fully. She also clearly explained the next steps following my diagnosis.
Accepting the diagnosis was difficult because I had been in denial, but Hayley’s supportive approach made the experience much easier. I’m very grateful for the positive experience and would highly recommend her to anyone going through a similar process.
