Nell from AAC designed is the most amazing and luxurious honeymoon safari to Tanzania. We were recommended by a friend and could not be happier with our trip. She was able to coordinate multiple different locations and lodges to see what Tanzania and Zanzibar had to offer. Every detail was pre-arranged where we could just show up and enjoy our honeymoon. I could not recommend Nell and AAC more!!

I just returned from a trip to New Zealand. This was my second experience with Africa Adventure Consultants and Angie. The first trip was to Africa. Both trips were meticulously planned and each truly exceeded expectations. Angie took ideas that we had gathered for some things we wanted to do in NZ, and combined those with her knowledge and experience to create an ideal itinerary for us. She was both fun and professional to work with. All emails and questions to her and her team were responded to immediately. They also have a great travel app for keeping up with the daily itinerary.

Our trip to Kenya and Tanzania was magnificent. Sara planned a trip for us that took into consideration all our requests, from seeing Mount Kilimanjaro to visiting camps with open Land Rovers for game drives. She and Kerri were extremely helpful before the trip when we had an issue with my visa and they made sure I had the support I needed from their travel partners on-site. They even checked in during the trip to make sure everything was going as planned and followed up on our return for any comments we might have had. We can’t say enough good things about Sara and this company.

All of the camps they picked for us were great. The accommodations and the food were above our expectations. Seeing the animals in their natural habitats was certainly the highlight of this trip. From the Ngorongoro Crater to the Serengeti, we saw so much. The herds of wildebeest in the Serengeti, stretching from horizon to horizon, took our breath away. I really enjoyed seeing all the babies. The driver/guides at all of the camps made sure we got to see everything possible, from mating animals to lions feasting on their prey. Their knowledge about all the animals made each drive memorable. We also appreciated the chance to learn about the Maasai culture when we visited a community near the crater.

This trip was perfect and we wouldn’t change a thing.

We began planning our honeymoon in October 2024 for a February 2026 trip, and from the very first conversation through the final day of travel, Angie delivered an experience that was nothing short of flawless. Every single detail was thoughtfully curated to us, from our preferences, pace, interests, and even small nuances that most planners would overlook.
What makes Angie truly exceptional is her ability to take something as complex and overwhelming as planning a multi-country African honeymoon, with hundreds of lodges, guides, and experiences to choose from, and turn it into a seamless, thoughtful process. I never felt overwhelmed with decisions, instead, I felt guided. She has an incredible ability to filter choices in a way that still gives you ownership of the experience, while gently steering you toward what will make the most sense. We’re very active travelers, and she perfectly balanced our itinerary with properties and experiences that matched our energy, pace, and interests. Nothing felt random or mismatched, everything flowed effortlessly.
What truly sets Angie apart is not just the planning, but the execution. Once we were actually on the trip, everything ran seamlessly. Transfers were perfectly coordinated, and we never waited more than a couple of minutes anywhere, and drivers and guides were often early and already expecting us. Each day flowed effortlessly into the next, with zero stress on our end. It felt like traveling in the most elevated, invisible system where everything just worked.
She also went above and beyond in ways we didn’t even anticipate. When we encountered unexpected travel disruptions in the Maldives due to airspace closures in the Middle East, Angie and her team were already tracking our journey in real time. She had multiple people monitoring our route and proactively ensuring we made it home safely. That level of care and oversight is something you simply cannot put a price on.
The experiences she curated were equally extraordinary. From breathtaking safari moments with top-tier guides she personally selected for us, to unforgettable properties and activities that felt completely tailored to our style, and every destination felt like the best possible version of itself. It never felt cookie-cutter; it felt intentional and deeply personalized.
More than anything, working with Angie felt like planning a trip with a best friend who genuinely had our best interests at heart every step of the way. She was thoughtful, proactive, and deeply invested in making sure this trip was perfect for us.
This was, without question, the most seamless, luxurious, and thoughtfully executed trip we have ever taken, and the most perfect honeymoon we could have imagined. Angie didn’t just plan a vacation, she created an experience we will remember for the rest of our lives.

We designed our own itinerary which was so much better than compromising with others that may have different agendas. Everything went perfectly, we were met at each airport and helped through the process of customs, ticketing, security, etc., then brought to a private lounge to wait for our next flight. The accommodations were very nice. The experience was wonderful! There was never a glitch.

We were 2 women in our 70’s traveling alone on our first trip through East Africa with no tour guide. One of our main concerns was being met at each transportation point and connecting flight in a way that provided us with complete assistance for traversing through all the airports and with all automotive transportation needs to each destination. The company that they arranged to handle us locally was flawless in their assistance and timeliness. In addition, the itinerary that was created based on our desired activities was very well planned at the perfect pace to make our entire trip a non-stressful yet exhilarating experience. We take a vacation with another couple every year. This year was an African safari. We needed lots of advice on how to make the trip special for all of us. Angie was our consultant. She listened to what we wanted, what we didn't think we wanted, and got to know our travel styles. Then she helped design our wonderful experience at two different locations in Kenya. We saw so much, and the staff and guides at Saruni Eagle View and Lewa House were excellent.
The pre-trip call answered all our remaining questions. The detailed itinerary and TravelKey app kept us fully informed. We had no issues to report, but the mid-trip check-in was another nice touch.
Angie clearly has a passion for what the African safari experience can mean for travelers, and for the people and environment in the countries that offer them.
She also helped us with our pre-safari trip to Dubai.

Our trip to Uganda far exceeded our expectations. We saw so many amazing birds and animals on our safaris, and the gorilla trek was unbelievable. The guides were very knowledgeable, and the lodges were big and comfortable. The lodge staff took great care of us. We were never lacking a thing. And the food was very good. We had several options, including vegetarian options. I would use AAC again and recommend them to family and friends.

We found AAC based on a friend's recommendation and we were very lucky to work with Angie to plan our dream vacation to Africa. Angie put together an amazing itinerary based on listening to what we wanted to see and experience, as well as our budget. She was extremely responsive to our needs and worked with us to come up with what was a perfect itinerary. Her choices of accommodations and guide companies were outstanding. We just returned from Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda from an incredible trip that AAC arranged for us. The itinerary was wonderful, as were all of the camps and guides. Based on the advice, recommendations and options suggested by the company, we had our best trip ever. We stayed in 4 different camps in Kenya and each was different, special and gave us the best flavor of what we sought, across the board.

Africa Adventure Consultants planned an anniversary trip for my wife and I to Botswana and Victoria Falls. Everything about the trip was fantastic - from the places we stayed to the food we ate to the animals we saw. The staff was really helpful and I'll be recommending AAC to my friends and family.

We had a fantastic time on our South African safari. The trip was planned meticulously and we felt extremely supported throughout the process. I can’t recommend AAC highly enough and plan to work with them again for our future travels.

I have travelled with AAC twice now. Once I climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro and another I took a trip to various camps in Botswana. Both trips were perfect. The customer service was top notch before I arrived and felt like I had support while in the country. My second trip was during COVID and felt very well informed as to what I needed to do.

We booked our lifetime dream trip to Africa safari camps with AAC. The covid pandemic hit and the camps closed. When we needed AAC they put their interest way ahead of ours, we didn't matter. When it became obvious they could not provide the trip we asked for refund. They offered us either a later date at more money or we could cancel and they would keep our deposit. We offered a very reasonable compromise but no, if we didn’t cancel by their deadline, they would keep the entire amount. We cut our losses and “canceled” so not to lose the entire amount. A reputable company would have given a full refund. AAC was deceptive, did not act in good faith, and it turned out they weren’t legally licensed so sell travel in our state.
