Thank you Afficient! My daughter has been going into classes outside of school and she said she didn't quite like them, so I thought of finding an app online for her to work on. I found Afficient, Nathan who helped me get through the steps of creating an account, and told me what my daughter needed to approve in. Afficient and Nathan both are very supportive in my situation and I am very thankful for them.

It's very helpful for studying. When I first stared , I was a bit angry because it was kind of hard. I started at grade 3 and now I'm grade 4 but I'm doing grade 6 math!!! I'm truly sorry for being angry at the program because now, I like it!!!

Although my daughter has been using Afficient for less than two months, I can see her progress day by day. She started from the second grade level, completed it in two weeks, finished the third grade level in four weeks, and has recently started the fourth grade. It has truly been a wonderful experience.

We had been struggling with my daughter’s math performance for quite some time. Despite trying various options and investing significant effort and time, we saw very little improvement. Math was taking up so much of her study time that it started affecting her performance in other subjects as well. We were both frustrated and had no idea how to tackle this issue.

Then, we came across Afficient Learning Center at a local community event. What truly interested me was their unique approach—customizing tests based on each student's understanding of different math concepts. Their flexible learning options, including both online and in-person sessions, immediately caught our attention. The online platform also offers remote instructor sessions for any questions, which was a great plus.

The AI-based learning system personalizes the learning pace, allowing my daughter to plan accordingly. Without the pressure of keeping up with peers, she genuinely enjoys the learning process and takes pride in mastering each concept. We receive a weekly progress report detailing her strengths and areas that need improvement. Additionally, the system revisits previously learned concepts to reinforce her understanding and ensure long-term retention.

One aspect my daughter particularly loves is the incentive system. She earns points for consistent learning and progress, with rewards for achieving milestones. She is so motivated by this system that she even considered skipping our Africa trip just to stay on track—kids!

After just a couple of months in the program, her math grades have consistently stayed above 95%. She is more confident, spends less time on math homework, and has more time to focus on other subjects. Her hard work even earned her academic recognition at school this year! We are incredibly happy with her progress and are now considering cross-grade learning for the summer.

I have been using this excellent program and app for many years, and it has greatly contributed to my children’s academic success. Both of my children are gifted students, and when they were in school, they often found the pace of instruction too slow, which made them feel bored. That’s why we switched to homeschooling, where choosing the right educational resources for their abilities became crucial.

Fortunately, I discovered this platform, and it has been a game-changer. The teachers are incredibly kind and supportive, always ready to help. The adaptive learning system is perfect for my children, allowing them to focus on the right level of challenge without wasting time on concepts they have already mastered. After taking the placement test, they could work on appropriate material rather than repeating content they already knew.

My child has been using Afficient for over 3 months now. It is overall a great experience. The number of questions set in each practice set is just right. Not too many for them to get frustrated nor too little to be helpful. It is also very easy for parents to track their on time process.

Afficient Academy has been an excellent resource for my daughter to help advance her skills in math. She is in 8th grade and is about 2 years ahead of her peer students in math. I believe this is because of the extra practice and skills she has learned through Afficient. I would highly recommend this program to other students.

The courses are well organized，and helpful to the boy coming to the United States without enough English training. He started hard and got used to do it everyday, and he loves the challenge day by day. This study also helped his ENL study in the school. Thus he wants to continue.

I want to share my amazing experience of Afficient. I’ve heard about it for quite long time but only tried it recently after getting not very ideal outcome from many other programs.

I would say the weekly progress bar, tokens, and ladder board really motivate kids to learn. It’s much better than me yelling at them.

The “helping mode” can help parents save ton of time teaching kids by ourselves. The steps are so well illustrated and the kids can easily follow by themselves alone.

The course consultant Derrick is also great. He not only cares about the kids progression speed but also pays attention to establishing a good learning habit.

So far this program is the one with least effort from parents and best learning result. Up vote with a million stars!

This is from someone who's been using Afficient for 3+ years. While it works and has helped me a bit (hence 2 stars instead of 1), there are some big issues. Afficient uses deceptive advertising and has poor demos/instruction. When you see an ad for Afficient the first thing that it says is "Artificial Learning". There is no artificial learning. I confronted one of the Afficient executives about this and told me that there is AI. No there is not, it's just a simple algorithm. It could barely classify as "machine learning". I can literally draw a picture of how progression and regression of this program works. I can quite literally state it right here, when you join Afficient your child will take a diagnostic test which will test a few skills from each chapter (Afficient structures itself with lessons => chapters => grades) and then depending on whether they answered/answered it on time will they get a check for that. Afficient will then see what skills the child is lacking and then begin their learning there. However this is way worse and slower than an actual teacher as here it's just an algorithm, there are causes for error and the child can easily misclick or misinterpret instructions. After the diagnostic your child will do problems. There are 4 levels but the first one is the learning stage. This is where they will read a "demo" that is not very easy to understand especially in the higher levels. Then it will be the assisted exercise which to be honest I don't think many people actually do, as it's the same thing as the demo and you don't get points for it. Then it is the actual problems. You have to get 5/6 or 3/4 depending on the skill. You can fail as many times as you want as long as you still get 5/6 or 3/4. You cannot move below this level. Then it's proficiency, which has levels 1,2,3 and proficient. This is basically you do 2 review questions (one from this grade, one from a previous one) and 4 questions from the lessons in the chapter in order (and you cannot skip the order or gain proficiency in a specific lesson). If you get it wrong it used to go to learning immediately but they realized that it was horrible for learning and not efficient, they added a "level 1- make up level", which if you do will go to level 2. This goes on until level 3 which is timed. You can always go down even from doing review questions and after you complete all the lessons to proficient do you move on to the next lesson. Now that I've laid it all out, you realize it's not actually AI. You could probably code this in Scratch. There's no LLMs, it's not training a model for each student that can see where they can improve. It's just a script (no pun intended) that tells you what (out of the predefined skills) are you not "proficient" in. Now moving on to demos, they are a giant paragraph that "explain" the concept but don't do it well. You have to read it over a few times as it's such a big chunk of text for some chapters. Afficient doesn't take in mind that some people learn by watching a video. When kids need help they need to connect to a Zoom advisor or in person, but at this point why not just go to an in person math class that gives homework? They should at least put an real AI powered chat bot, but I guess they're pretending their algorithm is AI. But to be honest, your child will still learn the skill, just not as easily and happily as advertised. I've seen many kids get very frustrated as the demos don't explain anything and the help button for the questions don't tell them how to fix their mistake, just how to do it, and sometimes that doesn't actually help them learn. Overall I think Afficient needs a major restructuring on their program, UI overhaul, fix their advertising or actually add AI elements. So just get a tutor, or wait until Afficient fixes something.

This is a great program for kids to develop a routine for practicing math, providing plenty of opportunities for learning and improvement.

Both my sons use it，and we are really like it. It enables efficient learning and saves a significant amount of time.

Afficient is literally the worst thing you could possibly do. I bet its made up of some chinese guy who wants to ruin kids' interest in math. Whenever there are conplaints, instead of the people who work for afficient saying : sorry we can improve, they are like: thats our purpose, you just gotta do it right, deal with it. LIKE WTF. AND PLUS, THE DEMOS SUCK THEY DONT EXPLAIN AT ALL. I NEED A REFUND.

My son has been using this platform for three years, starting in 6th grade, and has now completed all the math courses. The journey wasn’t always smooth—he initially found it frustrating when making mistakes, as his score would drop and he had to answer additional questions to recover. This process made him quite fussy at first, but we’re so glad we stuck with it. It helped him develop strong learning habits, and over time, he learned to face challenges calmly and persistently. I’m so proud of his progress, and these courses have greatly reduced his stress in his Accelerated Math Class in high school.

It could be better. Like maybe the demos. You should make it more clear. You should create Afficient games! And for the %s you should make it for when you get a question wrong, you should not make it drop so much! Like one time, it dropped from 72% to 26%. That is way too much!
