"I had a deeply disappointing experience with Affinity Health. Despite making timely payments for April and May, they improperly allocated my funds to previous months, leaving me without coverage. Their own policy states that if a month isn’t paid, you’re not covered—yet they still refused to fix it. To make matters worse, their customer service was appalling: a representative spoke over me, dismissed my concerns, and was outright arrogant. I would caution anyone considering Affinity Health—this is not how a professional insurer should treat its customers."

Good Day
I was in communication with Ronelle who has advised that she is a Senior at Affinity Health and duing our call she confirmed that my accidental cover will kick in with immedite effect from the 3rd of February and the medicsl aid plan will kick in on the 1st of March 2026 after they have taken the first direct debit on the 25th of February.
Today when I asked Ronelle to send me through confirmation of what was discussed and agreed to she told me my policy is being reviewed
Ronelle also handed the phone to her trainee Juzeven who also confirmed my policy is active immediately on accidental and medical cover from the 1st.
I find it very unprofessional of both of them to call constantly with different versions of what was discussed yesterday and when I joined the whatsup platform I was told by application has not been processed.
This is so much hassle for a first time joiner and the fact that you are told different versions by a superior is very concerning

Dear Affinity Team,
I'm writing to express my extreme concern and distress regarding my ticket that's been pending since in the morning .
I've been waiting at the doctor's office since 12:00 PM and it's now 15:24. I'm afraid the doctor will be closing soon.
l've made all necessary calls and reached out to Affinity for assistance, but I'm getting increasingly anxious. The wait has been incredibly stressful, and I'm feeling helpless.
Could someone please provide me with an update on my ticket status or assist me in resolving this matter urgently?
I'm worried that I might miss the doctor's consultation due to the delay.
I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to hearing from you soon.

MPORTANT: AFFINITY HEALTH IS A SCAM.
They are not a medical aid, and they WILL pick and choose what they will pay for when the time comes. They do not have to follow the rules that normal medical aid schemes follow - and when things really go bad they will NOT pay. I broke my back in an accident - was hospitalised and they have not paid a cent. They also refused my uncles CANCER treatment.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. JUST GET AN ENTRY LEVEL HOSPITAL PLAN FROM A REAL MEDICAL AID!!!

The Lady Who Helped Me Was. Very Friendly And Helpful. The Problem Is With The Call Center That Is Taking Too Long To Attend To Us. Can The Company Improve When It Come To Making Thisngs Easier For Us. The Lady Was Very Open And Trying All Her Best To Make Thisngs For Easter And Quickly.
