Mr Farhan Khalid was very professional with excellent communication. It was our first Umrah and the experience was easy and peaceful as we did not need to worry about booking , visa , travel , transport . Everything went smoothly. Mr Farhan was there step by step and he made sure that all is going well throughout the flights and hotel bookings .
The price of the package was very reasonable and the choice of hotels was good .
Drivers from/ to airport + between Makkah and Madinah were very good and arrived on time .
I simply felt relaxed as things moved smoothly despite having a short time to do Umrah .
I definitely recommend using Alamanah travel and I will definitely need their help for my second Umrah insha’Allah .

I just came back from my Umrah today. So, I want to give an elaborate review for Alamanah Travel UK. First of all, I did compare a lot of Umrah travel companies in UK and I found this one to be most affordable. So, all my package and everything was done by brother Ikram who sounded very professional, helpful and answering all my inquiries promptly. He did provide a lot of package options and also altered them as per my choice. The hotels provided were very nice and close by. I think the people commenting negatively about hotels are the ones expecting a 5 star hotel experience at a budget price. The transport company that they work with for Ziyarah and airport transfers in Mecca and Madina where very efficient. All the drivers they provided were on time, very professional and provided excellent communication. Hats off for that! All over, the experience was very nice at every stage. So, thanks to Alamanah and brother Ikram!

Farhan Khalid was the person who sorted out my whole package from start to finish always kept in contact throughout the journey if I had any issues he sorted as much as he could. I do recommend them the hotels was good both near the haram and mosques. Inshallah I will use them for my next visit when I am inviting from Allah.

I had a detailed discussion with Brother Muhammad Ibrahim regarding an Umrah package for myself and my elderly mother (over 80 and requiring a wheelchair). Although we ultimately decided not to proceed due to my mother’s mobility needs and flight suitability, I want to acknowledge the genuine effort Brother Ibrahim made throughout the process.

He was patient, responsive, and repeatedly tried to accommodate our requirements — including revising hotel options, updating transport arrangements, and exploring alternative flights. Even when circumstances changed or options became limited, he remained polite, apologetic where appropriate, and professional.

Sometimes things don’t move forward not because of lack of effort, but because of personal constraints — and this was one of those cases. Based on my experience, Brother Ibrahim acted with honesty and good intention, and I believe he did his best within what was available.

May Allah reward him for his efforts, and I would be happy to speak with him again in the future should our circumstances change.

This review is an update from the one star review left by the name Ayesha Begum.
Someone called Abdul Rai who claimed to be the manager at Al Amanah called asking for feedback after reading mine and my husbands reviews. To begin I’m not sure what feedback he required as the review was pretty much to the point. He first claimed we were wrong about what we said then agreed with everything and asked us what he could do to rectify it. He could barely string a sentence together so not sure who made him manager but as a manager if you’re calling asking how to rectify multiple mistakes made by your staff member then you know you’re in the wrong.
He offered £300 as compensation but it’s hardly compensation when we’re being BLACKMAILED to remove our reviews in exchange. I am unable to add the attached screenshots of the WhatsApp conversation and email received but if you check my Google review you will see the screenshots there and you will see how he was asking us to remove the review in exchange for the payment. I only agreed to the removal to get paid as I wouldn’t have received a penny otherwise. But I was never going to remove the reviews off mine or my husbands account. This is clear proof that they blackmail their customers with so called “compensation” to get bad reviews removed and that is the only reason why their rating is high.
I can’t stress enough how much of a scam this company is and how if you want a peaceful umrah/hajj trip to avoid them at all costs!

We travelled for Umrah as a group of 11, organised by Alamanah Travel UK, and our main point of contact was Ikram, who was excellent throughout.
Ikram’s communication was outstanding - he was always available, responsive, and worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure everything ran as smoothly as possible. We fully appreciate that, as an agent, Alamanah is a middle party and relies on suppliers such as airlines and hotels to honour arrangements. In reality, things don’t always go exactly to plan, especially on complex trips like Umrah.
What truly matters in those moments is being able to communicate easily and trust that someone is actively working to resolve issues and get things back on track. Ikram did exactly that - before booking, after booking, and consistently throughout the entire trip.
Having had difficult experiences with other agencies in the past, Alamanah Travel UK was genuinely a pleasure to deal with. We would not hesitate to recommend them.

Booked our first umrah through Al amanah and had an excellent experience. Brother Ramzan was so helpful throughout the whole process. Everything went smoothly, they provided a great umrah guide, had a slight issue with the ziyarah’s but that was down to the travel agents driver. Overall very happy with the service provided and would highly recommend to others.

Very happy with the service provided by brother Yaseen. From my own country to Saudi the service remained the same and he was readily available to help with anything we needed. We are grateful to have used this service as we received an excellent experience. From arrival to Saudi to the hotel transport, the hotel itself and everything in between. **Absolutely disgraceful service and complete mismanagement.**
As a single mother, I trusted this agency with what was meant to be a sacred and deeply meaningful journey. Instead, I experienced stress, financial loss, and a shocking lack of professionalism from start to finish.

Over a four-month period, I was asked to provide passport details **at least five times**, clearly showing there was no proper record-keeping system. Despite this, the agency still failed to do basic checks. Shortly before travel, I discovered myself that one passport was within the 6-month limit and urgently needed renewal. This forced me to make an **unplanned, exhausting, and costly trip to Sweden**, leaving my daughter in arranged childcare—an ordeal that was completely avoidable.

After renewing the passport, I checked my booking online and found **no flight existed at all**. I genuinely believed I had been scammed. When I contacted the agency, I was ignored and put on hold for **two days**. Only after repeated calls was I casually told that the flight had been cancelled—without any accountability.

I clearly explained that other passengers had already booked flights from Sweden and that I had taken time off work, so keeping the same travel dates was essential. Despite this, I was dismissively told to move the entire trip to February.

The agency **explicitly promised Qatar Airways**, yet booked us on **Wizz Air and Pegasus**. When challenged, they only agreed to change one flight and then demanded **£600 extra** to fix their own mistake, later reducing it to £300 after prolonged arguments—money I should never have been asked to pay.

I paid around **£1,200 per person for a so-called 4-star package**, yet received budget airlines, over **10 hours of exhausting layovers**, and consistently poor service. My request for accommodation close to Makkah was completely ignored. No food or drink provided over plane journey of 5 hours .

**The situation became even worse upon arrival in Madina.**
We were promised a 4-star hotel and reassured it was “like 5-star.” The room was **filthy, dusty, smelly, and clearly not cleaned**. There were **no toilet rolls, no water**, and no response from room service. The room was booked for two people but had **four spring beds crammed inside**, making it overcrowded and unacceptable.

When I complained, instead of apologising, the agency tried to cover it up. I was told changes would be made, only to be informed by the hotel that I would have to **pay extra for cleaning or a room change**. They admitted the hotel was busy due to discounts—clearly explaining why we were placed there.

The agent involved was **Ramzan**, and I also spoke to the manager twice. Despite everything, they continued to ask for more money. This is **pure exploitation**, especially of pilgrims.

This journey was meant to be sacred. Instead, it was emotionally draining and deeply distressing. Exploiting people during such an important spiritual experience is shameful.
**I strongly warn others: do not trust this agency.**
