Support is slow and everything is a hit or miss, rewards take ages to credit but otherwise 1.5% is pretty good for a non-credit card card for rewards. Update - Raising this to 4 stars as the reward... Voir plus

Generally a good banking app , but 1.5 star for Customer support. I really love the app so i hope they do better in this department.

I had money in my account and I transferred to my Revolut account since last week Saturday and Algbra basically suspended my account on no explanation. I haven't able to get my money yet from them they have asked me to send them my other bank accounts statement which I already have sent last Thursday and still no answer customer support chat telling me to wait they have looking into this every time and they haven't replied to my from email from last Thursday. I am going to take them to court from tomorrow. Hopefully they have a great reason to hold my money for a week with no ground.

Update - Raising this to 4 stars as the reward tracking seemed to be a temporary issue. Getting my rewards tracked within 4-5 days now. Still not too happy with their support resolution/response time

Great bank.
Fast and quick responses.
Issue with adding card to apple pay and algebra fixed the issue and gave me £10 compensation which is great

If you haven’t opened an account with Algbra then I urge you too! I genuinely can’t think of any other business, where you send a message to support, and get to speak to humans, that’s right, actual living humans working in a financial institution who will answer any question without the need for hopeless chat bots, without the need to press 10 different number options, only to find yourself back dealing with the same hopeless chat bot! I love Algbra for many reasons but, by far, it’s the genuine customer service and the relatability of Matt, Lauren and the rest of support as they really understand just how frustrating banking apps can be, so do everything they can to take all that stress away. In a world of heartless banking do a little good for the world and get yourself an account with them, you can thank me later 😊

Algbra's method of customer support was to delete my account because their hopeless customer support could not fix a very basic problem.
Avoid this company like the plague. One of the worst banking experiences I've ever encountered.
Amateur isn't being kind enough.

Worst bank ever. Customer service almost nonexistent. Never a fast response and when they do respond after a week the response has nothing to do with the enquires. So fed up of chasing them. Could give them less than a star.

Amazing customer service! I enjoyed the customer service chat facility because it meant that I could resume the conversation in my own time. The app overall is really user friendly.

I experienced some technical issues (maybe wifi etc) when transferring money from my bank to Algbra. Contacted customer services Matt and he sorted it out quickly, even contacted Barclays to resolve. Excellent customer service. We need more of this in the UK.

Algbra promises 1.5% cashback on mobile payments but their Apple Pay is broken.
The cashback has not being honoured. Disappointed.

Excellent customer service advisors as they deal with most issues immediately and very helpful. This bank is effective and makes banking easier than ever. Well done algebra.
