Salamwalaikum everyone. I don’t usually write reviews but for a travel agency that is providing services for people to do hajj/umrah I’m very dissapointed with the service. I booked a package for my parents thru this agency hoping for an easy experience however it was anything but that. First of all, you guys are very hard to get a hold of there should be someone available for all hours of the day for there is any hiccups during travel. When my parents first arrived to the airport on their way to Saudi Arabia their booking was not found in the airport system and they were told no reservations have been made under their name. When we called the agency to handle the situation they were hard to get a hold of and very unhelpful. Alhamdulliah the airport was able to help my parents resolve the issue after 2 hours of going back and forth and rebooked them for the original flights. By the grace of Allah, they made it to their flights on time and arrived to Saudi Arabia. After their trip to umrah our package included another flight to Bangladesh where they failed to mention the luggage situation I believe they booked the cheapest airfare from Jeddah to Dhaka and they were allowed only 1 luggage per person when originally they had traveled with 2 luggage per person. They ended up having to pay an additional $300 USD to bring the 2 luggage with them. After their trip in Bangladesh our package included a flight from Bangladesh to Turkey where they spent 2 days there. Originally in our package and agreement transportation from Turkey airport to hotel and back were provided. However on the day of Turkey arrival they said transportation is not provided and it is something we have to obtain ourselves. They requested an extra $350 if we wanted to add transportation but I have messages and receipts of them claiming transportation was provided in our package. Again I want to mention you guys are VERY hard to get a hold of and when I am able to contact you it is very hostile attitude and unhelpful. I trusted this agency with our travel plans and it just left us with a very stressful experience. Inshallah I pray you can do better for other people but I am highly dissatisfied and disappointed in this service. There are so many more inconveniences I can mention that happened with this whole travel experience but these are the main big issues.
Overpromise & Underdeliver
This travel agency is the definition of Overpromise and underdeliver. From the moment they took my money, the experience became a nightmare of anxiety, stress, and constant begging for basic follow-through.
They promised a well-organized trip with confirmed visas, hotel bookings, and train reservations. What I actually got was complete procrastination and chaos. Nothing was finalized until two days before departure, despite repeated requests and warnings not to delay. Instead of feeling excited for a trip, I spent weeks stressed, anxious, and wondering whether anything would actually be arranged.
The worst part? The hotels that were promised were changed at the last minute—with no proper explanation and no regard for the inconvenience or trust they broke. Plans were altered without consent, transparency, or accountability.
The transportation arranged by Al Hajaz Travel Agency from Medina to Makkah took approximately six (6) hours, far longer than expected, under unsafe and unacceptable conditions. The vehicle provided included a broken window and barely functioning air conditioning, despite extreme heat. This created significant discomfort and raised serious safety concerns for passengers.
Furthermore, despite being promised guided Umrah services as part of the package, no Umrah guide was provided at any point. This was a core part of what we paid for, and its absence materially reduced the value of the service and caused confusion and distress during religious rites.
A travel agency is supposed to reduce stress, not create it. This company did the opposite. Their lack of professionalism, poor communication, and disregard for their client’s peace of mind turned what should have been a joyful experience into a miserable & wretched one.
These issues represent misrepresentation, failure to deliver contracted services, and negligence, and I am seeking appropriate action a refund.
If you value your time, money, and mental well-being, stay far away. No trip is worth the anxiety and frustration this agency puts you through. I give this company a negative 5 rating.
Umrah 2026
We have just arrived back from umrah Al hijaz made the trip memorable we had excellent located hotels in both Mecca and Medina drivers carried on time and were polite.
Would recommend this company . And in shaa allah will be using them again soon
I performed my Hajj in 2025 through Al…
I performed my Hajj in 2025 through Al Hajaz Travels Sarah Butt was my Sister I have chosen to book again for Hajj 2026. At the moment I have not yet received confirmation from Sarah for the 2026 booking and I hope this will be shared soon.
I would also like to specifically appreciate Sarah and Minahil who are both They both treated me like Muslim should do eachother I appreciate and i lost my luggage on airport which contained very expensive things the brother Mairaj from
saudia helped me find that too While most aspects were handled smoothly, I would like to mention that transportation was not fully provided at all times, which caused some inconvenience for me.
Scammers!
Scammers!
Do not trust this agency. They all liars and scam people. I’m wondering how they are able to do this kinda stuff in the name of Islam like no fear of death or Allah!
Last year, I went to do my first umrah with them and I paid for something and they provided something else. First of all, when we arrived in Madinah there was no hotel reservation but I paid in advance with package.
Second, they mentioned that they will provide 5 star hotels but it wasn’t near that. I had such a bad experience with my roommates who gave me such trauma like I tried to explain the agency but because they all are Pakistani then definitely they didn’t cared! These girls were the worst people ever I have saw in my life.
Also, when I wrote a bad review they called me to delete bad review and literally said “we can delete the review by our system if you don’t” and they offered me for partial refund that I have never received.
All I can say, better fear Allah because if you guys are scamming people in the name of Islam, you guys better be responsible for Judgement Day when Allah take care of you!
Assane Mare:
WARNING – DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY ⚠️
I had an extremely bad experience with Alhajaz Travels
I paid $1,000 toward a Hajj package, was issued an invoice, and was promised services. After receiving my money, the company stopped responding completely — no emails, no calls, no explanations. My money was never returned.
This company presents itself as a religious travel agency, but in my experience, they used religion to gain trust and then failed to honor their commitments. That is unacceptable and deeply disappointing.
Hajj is a sacred journey, and anyone who exploits people financially in the name of faith should be avoided at all costs. If you are considering this company, please think twice and do not send them any money unless everything is fully verified and documented.
I am sharing this review to warn others so no one else becomes a victim.
SCAM ALERT 🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨
Assalam o alaikum,
PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THEM. THEY WILL SCAM YOU.
They advertise their business in the name of Allah and use it as an excuse to scam people.
This is addressed to Minahil, our primary travel agent, Bisma, Mahnoor, Aisha, Waqaz, and all other scammers of Al Hajaz.
Our Umrah was from Jan 1st to Jan 16, 2026.
We worked for months to save up for our families' first Umrah. There were 5 people, with 3 kids. Minahil was polite at first when payment was needed. We purchased tickets through 3 credit cards. After purchasing, Minahil told us we had 15 days to pay for hotel, visas, tours, etc. Communication with Minahil ended after this. Bisma later claimed her father passed away, but we believe this was not true. Soon after, Bisma began calling us repeatedly, threatening to cancel our tickets and not process our visas or hotels if we did not pay immediately.
After this behavior, we decided to dispute one of our credit cards. However, we shortly received a call from Minahil assuring us that everything was fine and apologizing for Bisma’s behavior. We decided to resolve the dispute immediately after this conversation. We asked Minahil hundreds of times to make sure our ticket was valid after the dispute. They assured us that the tickets were valid. This was one month before the flight. During check-in, we were having issues with the booking of 2 tickets. We informed Al Hijaz, and they said everything was fine and that we would need to check in at the airport. When we arrived at the airport, it turned out that 2 of the tickets for our 2 kids were suspended. We kept calling Al Hijaz for 3 hours, and they continued stating the tickets were valid despite what the check-in agent was telling us. In the end, Al Hajaz told us to purchase the 2 tickets with our own money for $3738, which was double what we originally paid since it was 5 minutes before the counter closed.
When we arrived at Jeddah, the driver informed us that the hotels we were supposed to stay in had changed for both Makkah and Medina. Minahil promised us before our flight that the hotels would not change. Al Hijaz never bothered to inform us so that they could continue their hiding. Our Medina hotel was extremely dirty, with the carpet and floor filled with stains. They also said we would get an extra mattress for both hotels, but that never happened.
Before the change in hotel in Makkah, Minahil told us that it was a 4-5 minute walk from the hotel, but it turned out to be a 45-minute shuttle ride and then a 15-20 minute walk. I told Minahil my husband has a bulging disk and cannot walk for long.
Ziarat was a joke lasting 1 hour. Minahil said that for each location, we would have 15 minutes to get out of the car, but in reality, we were simply driven to the places and shown them through the car window.
We received our visas at the last minute, and when trying to call them, they would ignore us. When they would pick up, they would give us an attitude. They are not giving us a refund for the 2 suspended tickets. Our package turned out to be double what they advertised.
We will dua from our heart that Allah does not forgive you INSHALLAH.
May Allah protect all of us from scammers like Al Hajaz.
Al Hajaz Travel facilitated an Umrah…
Al Hajaz Travel facilitated an Umrah trip for our Masjid this past November. After making payment, communication drastically dropped off. Visas were late, promised Rawdah bookings didn’t occur, seat arrangements on flights not made, and hotel confirmation provided the DAY BEFORE travel. Some of us paid for upgraded hotels. They were not provided. This is why they held out to the last moment to provide the hotel confirmations. We were told we would get refunds. They didn’t refund any money. Now they won’t take our calls. We paid for train transportation between Mecca and Medina, instead we were provided bus transportation on very dirty and buses in poor condition. Guided tours in Mecca and Medina sold in the package we paid for were not provided either. We have engaged a lawyer, and still no response. Al Hajaz is a fraud. Please beware and do not use this company.
⚠️ Warning
⚠️ Warning: This Company Is a Fraud and a Scam ⚠️
I am sharing this review to warn others based on my own experience with Al Hajaz Travels.
I contacted this company after seeing advertisements on Facebook and other social media platforms for Hajj packages. I was asked to pay an upfront amount of $2,000, and over time I ended up paying close to $6,000 in total.
Before payment, I received constant calls and messages via WhatsApp from the number 1-888-980-8775. The individuals who contacted me identified themselves as Saqib Khan and Maha Noor, claiming to represent the company.
After the payments were made, communication stopped completely. My calls and messages were blocked, and no services were provided. I was never issued any confirmed Hajj arrangements.
This operation has no fixed physical office location, and communication is solely handled via WhatsApp. Once your payment is received, all communication ceases. They operate using various aliases.
I have reported this matter to the FBI and local authorities and am continuing to pursue formal legal action.
I strongly urge others not to engage with these individuals and DO NOT send any money to them. This appears to be another online scam and fraud.
They are Scammer
They are Scammer. Beware of them.
They stopped receiving my call and responded my emails after I paid $3890 to their account via zelle.
They are group of cheater who make money by cheating for such a noble cause. May Allah give treat them for their wrong doing for innocent Muslim brothers.
Excellent and trustworthy service from…
Excellent and trustworthy service from Al Hijaz Travel. After being scammed previously, we had completely lost trust in travel agents and were extremely anxious. However, Ijaz bhai at Al Hijaz Travel restored our faith. He handled everything professionally and efficiently, even at the very last moment, and ensured the entire process went smoothly. His honesty, dedication, and calm reassurance during a stressful time meant a lot to us. I highly recommend Al Hijaz Travel to anyone looking for reliable and genuine service, especially when it matters most.
"I am deeply disappointed and…
"I am deeply disappointed and frustrated as I have lost $2,300, and my Hotel was not booked as agreed upon. I am extremely upset with the actions of my brother, Hamad, and my sister, Mahnoor, whom I feel have failed to fulfill their responsibilities in this matter. I hope that one day those responsible for this breach of trust and negligence will face the appropriate consequences for their actions."
May Allah punish these people in this world and hereafter. AMEEEN

Liars and thieves from saqib khan to the ceo. They promise you a package that you pay for than they bait and switch you to a lower cheaper package once your there.stay away from this company and there shell company al madinah travels . Same company 2 different names . That way they can scam as many people as possible. Do your self a favor go with reputable companies.
scammers
I want to warn others about my experience with a business called Al Hazaz Travel. I was asked to send money through Zelle, and they used United States phone numbers but did not have a real physical office in the U.S. After sending $8,400, the services that were promised to me and my family were never provided, and communication became very difficult. Based on my experience, I recommend being extremely careful and making sure any company you deal with has a verified business address and written agreement before you send money.
