She also stocks preloved charlie bears which the official store doesn't sell anymore making her shop unique. A little birdie is probably the best stockest of charlie bears for the variety from preorder to current stock and old. Mel's bears are always trusted clean and in perfect condition even the pre loved ones, as they all go through a spa treatment ensuring they are perfect to sell. This is amazing and not something you can guarantee on other selling platforms. The online tiktok and Facebook group community for little birdie gift shop is also just as amazing, were fellow charlie bear collectors can speak to eachother and share their love of bears.
Mel ALWAYS sends the bears super fast postage so I know if I order one il get it soon afterwards.

I pre-ordered a Charlie Bear back in February 2025 from here and paid a £10 deposit. It was listed as being released in quarter 3 of the year, which I took as Jul/Aug/Sept. However as time went on I was told Charlie Bears Calendar starts in February so it would be Aug/Sept/Oct release. In the meantime during a live I saw the lady who sells them line up about 20 bears on the floor for someone to choose from. When she was done she picked up the remaining bears and threw them on a pile on the carpet. As I was paying £150 for the bear I said it wasn't a great way to treat stock and could I cancel my order. I was told I could but as the order was being cancelled she would have to keep the deposit to cancel with Charlie Bears, however I now see she has sold all the original stock and ordered more. Absolute shambles of a company.

I was horrified to see the owner of this store endorses hate speech. I have immidiately requested a cancelation of my order with them.

Mel at a little birdie is absolutely amazing. There is nothing too difficult for her and aims to make all customers feel welcome and happy. I have purchased from them multiple times now for myself and my child and she was so kind and caring ensuring we was both happy with our bears and chose the perfect ones specially for us (even though little one is a very particular 6yr old) mel answered all of his questions and supported him perfectly so he was able to buy what he says is his "very best special charlie bear"

I shop at little birdie for my preorder and current order for Charlie bears. I have purchased Steiff and Teddy Herman. The lady that runs this beautiful business is just as beautiful inside and out. She goes out of her way to ensure you are happy. You can choose your ‘bear face’ on her TikTok shop live, she will also send photos if not on TikTok. When someone says someone goes the extra mile, Mel goes the extra mile and then some. I enjoy her lives , getting to see all the orders , all new faces of all sorts of teddys. She is very knowledgeable lady. I love story times with Mel, where she tells us little stories stuff as history of Steiff while packing orders. If you are looking for a special bear in your life. Little birdie is most definitely the lady to go to.
