Allens E-Bikes Avis 

Fantastic experience at Allens E-Bikes today. Wasn’t intending to actually buy a bike today as it was more of a ‘try some and then go home to think about it’ trip. However, Dave encouraged us to try several bikes and our questions were answered clearly and patiently. He sent us out with Will, who gave us lots of information and explained the differences between the bikes and any pros and cons. There was absolutely no pressure and we did not feel rushed.
We eventually went for a MiRider 20 in Aurora Green & as it flies along, we immediately named it The Gorgeous Green Buzzard, or Buzz for short ;)

I had a fantastic experience buying my bike thanks to Dave Alan. From the moment I walked in, he was welcoming, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient. He let me try out several different models without ever rushing me, making sure I found the perfect fit. Dave has that rare combination of expertise and approachability—you can tell he genuinely cares about getting it right for each customer. Everything you’d hope for in a bike shop owner, Dave embodies it. Highly recommend!

Great service….helpful and friendly. It was helpful, under Dave’s advice, to try other bikes just to confirm our choices. The website is good and easy to use, and the shop full of great bikes on display. Overall this is a great resource and I suspect (even though I haven’t needed it) that the aftercare service will be similarly excellent.

I live in Essex and travelled to Leighton Buzzard to try and buy a bike, Dave showed us several and we chose a different bike to the one we were going to buy, this was because of the fantastic knowledge and advise and the opportunity to ride the bikes we received from Dave. We left the shop and done some further research and decided on the bike we wanted, we spoke to Mike who is Dave's dad and he was just as knowledgeable and accommodating as Dave, in fact he came in especially on Sunday to assist us in trying another bike, we Bought 2 Mirider 20 bikes and Dave delivered them to us in Essex, demo'ed the bikes and left us reassured we had made the correct decision for the bike for us, I cannot express how worthwhile it is to visit the shop and get the excellent customer service and advice they provide, We tried other local bike shops but none were either as helpful or knowledgeable about the products, I would definitely purchase another bike from them in the future if I need one. Good old fashion customer service from a family run high street shop that have extensive knowledge and a good range of quality e-bikes in stock. Pressure free purchase at a great price. Would recommend going the extra mile to visit and try the different bikes.

I am now on to my second bike with Allens E-Bikes after upgrading my 1st perchance with them customer service is outstanding I highly recommend them

We visited the store on a Sunday , Reese demonstrated the bike we wanted and was very helpful , we ordered two Ado Air20Pro bikes , as soon as they came into stock (less than 10 days) Dave called us and arranged the build , adjustments and handover of the bikes . Nothing was too much trouble and I would highly recommend Allen’s e-bikes to anyone looking for powered cycling .

An excellent range of bikes available, with very good, clear advice and with encouragement to try bikes - I purchased bikes that I did not originally consider (which I am very pleased with), so, many thanks to Dave for allowing such an easy comparison of the available products.

Absolutely brilliant expertise and customer service from Dave and the team. Super friendly and helpful, I can't fault them. I have recommended already to lots of my friends. Delighted with the ebike and kids seat, and so are the kids. Didn't realise how easy it would be to travel a few miles with a child up to age 10 on the back.

Purchased an ebike from Allen's ebikes very recently. Test rode many, so I could make my mind on a suitable bike. Dave gave great advice and is very knowledgeable, polite & professional. We were looking for an e-bike and had looked online at the ADO Air 20 Pro, so we went to see one at Allen’s E-bikes. Dave was so helpful and suggested a couple of bikes including the ADO. We were able to try them round the back of the shop which was very useful. we had been offered a very good price online and Dave was able to price match even though he was offering a much better service. I got a call this morning to say that it had arrived and was able to collect it same day all set up and ready to go. We would definitely return to his shop if we wanted to upgrade and would highly recommend them.

Mike was so helpful with the purchase of my e-bike last weekend. I was able to take it out for a proper test ride, there was no pressure to buy anything, just really helpful suggestions. I'm really pleased with the bike

We purchases two bikes a couple of years ago but decided that it was time to change up. Spoke to Dave in the shop and for what we were after he recommended that we tried the Tenways. He was right with everything he told us about them and to say we are highly satisfied is un understatement!!!
As a return customer I can only say that buying from there is a pleasure and the advice is always spot on, the bikes were delivered as promised in perfect condition and ready to ride. From our experience so far I would say they are perfect for us as Dave told us they would be

The shop had a great stock, we were able to try the bikes before purchasing, up until the purchase I would have given a top review. Sadly we were promised the bikes would be assembled and delivered, included with a foot pump. Neither of these happened, the bikes were sent to us, no pump arrived and they ignored our dissatisfaction about them not keeping their promises. No apology and no air pump, it's a shame because on the whole I think they are a good family business. Just a shame they didn't finish on a good note for us.

The bike was ready and assembled awaiting my collection. Good clear communication prior to collecting. Friendly helpful service. Dave Allen took the time to answer my questions and reassure me that any future issues would be resolved in house, giving me the reassurance any customer needs.

I would definitely recommend Allen’s EBikes to future customers, and will hopefully do my future upgrade at this store. 5 Star from us 👍

Dave was kind enough to let me ride quite a few similar foldable bikes before i knew the one for me. This gave me a lot of reassurance. He explains everything and is very patient and enthusiastic. Would you rather not get a ebike set up right with someone good,? then dave is your guy. Great shop and great owner... i used the bike to work scheme and it was no issue...[ado air 20 pro purchased 1st aug 2024 with 3 years servincing extra]. Jawwad

I wanted an e-bike but couldn’t afford a new one so I popped into Allen’s E-bikes on the off chance that they had any preloved bikes. I was in luck, I found the perfect bike. Dave couldn’t have been any more helpful if he tried, and Mike is just a sweetheart. I felt wonderfully looked after as someone new to e-bikes. Dave was able to give me a full background on the bike, and also checked everything was in tip top condition before I left. The other thing that really impressed me was that they wouldn’t sell me anything I didn’t actually need, in fact it didn’t feel like they were selling me anything! What I mean by that is they gave me all the information and advice but ultimately gave me the space to make my own mind up, it was very relaxed and no pressure. The team at Allen’s are obviously very passionate about their products and the e-bike lifestyle, and that passion is contagious! Many thanks to team Allen’s E-bikes ❤️
