This one day course covers dog first aid in great detail in a relaxed and fun way. It is far more comprehensive than a course that I previously did many years ago with a different provider. I came away feeling much more confident about dealing with dog first aid & emergencies. Attendees were a mix of dog professionals (walkers, representatives of rescue organisations for example), and dog owners wanting to know how best to help their dog in an emergency or first aid situation, which I think most owners are likely to encounter at some point in the course of their dog's lives (injured pads, for example).

I found this course extremely useful. I had previously done an online course but found the practical elements of this one much more likely to stick. Amanda was very clear, patient and knowledgeable as an instructor. She repeated and clarified whenever necessary and injected just the right amount of humour to relieve tension. Highly recommend this for pet owners and professionals alike.

I attended this dog first aid course yesterday and was really impressed. There was a lot of material covered, all explained in a very clear way by Amanda, a qualified and experienced head veterinary nurse. The course was delivered via a mixture of practical exercises, discussions, videos and photos to help understand the measures which could be taken in an emergency situation before your 4 legged friend sees the vet. I would recommend this course to all dog owners in the area as it could make the difference between life and death. Thank you for a really interesting and enjoyable day.

Really great course. I attended as a dog parent and I really enjoyed it. I learnt a lot of practical skills as well as wider information about what to do in case of emergencies! I obviously hope I never need to use any of the information but I feel more confident now. Amanda was a great course leader and everything was really well put together!
