Professional, courteous and efficient, simply spot on.
I had a survey conducted a year ago, which was effortless and well organised, with a comprehensive report. A year on, having lost my report, 3 emails and an hour later the report was resent. No dramas. Just good old fashioned service, very rare these days.

Unfortunately I have a had a very negative service from this company

I contacted the company in January 2025 for a survey and planning application

Was told in February by James Forward that the application will be submitted before he leaves the company in February - this did not happen

After many emails - someone finally submitted the wrong application in April

After I complained - James Forward returned to the company on a consultancy basis. He submitted an application with 'insufficient information' which was rejected

They will not help me with an appeal - as it is beyond theiir expertise

No one from the company, including director Mark Dobson, will return my calls

A very disappointing experience with James Forward and Apline Surverys

Everyone that I spoke to at Alpine was extremely helpful and a breath of fresh air having previously dealt with a poor surveyor. Brinde was excellent at explaining the details around the Structural Engineers Report and very helpful at getting everything booked in. On the day of the survey, Abbas called me to understand and make sure he would cover every in the report that I’d requested. I’d highly recommend Alpine.

I had the pleasure of working with Abbas Ladonni from Alpine Surveys recently, and I must say he was exceptional. My original surveyor was unavailable, and Abbas stepped in to help me understand my Level 3 survey – a task that would have been daunting given my complete lack of experience in surveying or housing. He expertly broke down the complex information in a clear and concise manner, making it easily digestible even for a complete novice like myself.

Abbas was incredibly efficient and readily available to answer my calls and address my concerns. His technical knowledge was clearly extensive, and he provided reassurance throughout the process. He is a valuable asset to Alpine Surveys, and I wholeheartedly recommend him. I wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

I was really pleased with the survey from structural engineer Abbas, he called me on the day after the survey and explained key points to me so that I was able to make a decision about a house purchase. The written survey was clear and thorough. I had previously gotten a level 3 house buying survey which had lots of general and vague information in it, whereas this survey was concise and relevant to the specific property I was purchasing which was very helpful. Asked for a quote and was called by Hayley to explain the service and offer me an appointment date. This was only in a few days time but then called a short time after to offer me a cancellation spot for the next day. She was very helpful. Had a structural survey yesterday completed by Abbas. Abbas is, by far, the most helpful structural engineer we've ever worked with. He took time to visit our home, hear our concerns, investigate each query, answer our questions with his deep knowledge and make helpful recommendations. He is skilled and able to explain things for lay people well. He wore shoe coverings out of respect for our home. He set our minds at ease and gave us the information we need to make sure we can scope work with builders without getting led astray, or falling into traps.
