Buyer beware! I bought a tabby cat as a gift, but the recipient wasn't comfortable keeping it. They recently lost their cat and I thought this might provide comfort but it was an erie reminder. When we tried to return it, we were denied because the battery tab was pulled—a rule that is listed nowhere on their website. Expecting customers to judge a product without even turning it on is completely unreasonable. I will never buy from this company again and suggest looking elsewhere.

I purchased a music player for my 93-year-old mum. It didn't work. I tried to resolve it via email and phone calls. But the product still doesn't work. The company is refusing to issue a refund or send a new item. Huge waste of time and money.

terrible customer service after several attempts to reach both this distributor and the original manufacturer. Zero assistance with problem solving a successful install.

This company sent me a defective product that did not work upon opening it. It never worked. They want me to send it back to them at my expense and are then going to charge me a restocking fee for a defective item. They do not answer their phones, do not return calls and are a huge scam. Avoid them at all costs

I ordered the robotic cat for my parent with dementia in the nursing home. It was $150 on sale and advertised being able to do many things and follow several verbal commands. I literally opened the package, charged the product then went through the “commands” only to realize this very expensive “robot” only moves its head and tail and lights up its eyes on commands without actually doing anything. I fail to see what makes it worth more than $20. I asked for a return THE SAME DAY and was told it can’t be returned because it has “fur” and cannot be cleaned and restocked. I saw that even on products they DO allow you to return (which seems like almost none of them for one reason or another)…they charge a 25-50% “fee.” Horrible company preying on people who are already going through the trauma of dealing with loved ones with dementia.

Alz store are resellers and dont support their sales. Advertising is completely misleading. Puppy Animatronics : noisy, movement old fashioned and robotic like a recorded doll of the 1960s Barks not lifelike. Not soft, padded or cuddly. Huge ripoff and not worth the money at all. The actual manufacturers are responsive so if determined to buy go there. This alz store filter their reviews, so if you find this review on google/yelp/trustpilot and not on their site ( I will publish on both ) you know not to trust any of their reviews. What a pity and a misuse of families trust and compassion for their family members. They will claim that it is not returnable since it is a fluffy or furry device , as is all there similar products so they are essentially saying not returnable but finding a way round to deceive by not writing that. In this day and age this kind of store preying on the public should be illegal. I will post video of dog on google reviews in the next two weeks.

This business seems very sketchy. The product I ordered was not advertised accurately. I want to return and am trying to but they are super restrictive in their return policy, especially over the holidays. I feel as if we’ve been scammed. Be careful ordering from this site.

I bought two items in September. Changed circumstances meant I needed to return them within the 30 day return window. I did manage to get a Return Authorization and shipped them back at my own expense. They slow-walked the refund, only refunded one item (minus the 25% restocking fee), ghosted me. I am working through a credit card dispute process to get the refund for the second item. I have lots of documents to support my claim so I expect to get it but they are absolutely horrible to deal with.

I bought a pippa tipper automatic lockable dispenser from the alzheirmer's store. I tried to use it for my 93 year old father and found it didn't work as advertised. This company has a no return policy for such products so i am out 120 dollars and own a piece of crap. Do not buy from this store EVER>

I had purchased a cell phone from this company. While it worked, it was fine. But then it didn't work anymore, so I called them to try to get technical assistance. I WASN'T EVEN TRYING TO GET A REFUND - JUST ASKING FOR ASSISTANCE!!! I called 3 times (and had to leave VMs because was nobody answered) over the course of 2 weeks, as well as sent 2 emails. I received ZERO replies. Absolutely inexcusable. I ABSOLUTELY DON'T recommend.

Horrible place to buy anything. Takes 2 weeks to receive the raz cell phone and then you only have one month to return after finding out it's a garbage phone for over 350 dollars. The email people support for raz are rude and condescending. The phone is worthless. I'm surprised the Alzheimer's Association Store is willing to sell this product. They need to disclose a lot more than they do.

I bought a tv remote control from the AlzStore.com. The remote does not work for my mother-in-law's assisted living facility. I opened the remote control to install batteries and to try to get it to connect, but due to their "post 30-day" policy they would not accept my return attempt for an otherwise unused/unusable tv remote!

I have plenty of time to read the reviews before I make any large purchases. I also keep track if I decide to make the purchase because we should all know a few bad reviews don't mean much. We purchased the a memory phone and was and am still very happy. Yeah, its a stock phone, but its designed so well with the features to help control spam calls. Not sure how anyone caring for someone with memory loss can function without it.

We found this to be a cheap $70 phone with a glitchy phone app priced at almost $400 with a pad charger. The phone has zero consistency, and the return policy is a rip off.

Terrible return policy. Once they have your money, they want to keep it. No matter the problem or issue. They charge 30-50% for unused returns all at their "discretion". We understand issues pertaining to returning health care or hygiene products, but this does not certain to a defective cell phone and charger.

We returned unused in perfect condition and were charged 33% for a $400 purchase.

As for functionality, we placed the phone on the charge pad and let it set there. The next day we noticed that the screen changed from the Alzheimer user interface to the phone system app. We called RAZ tech support to resolve the problem. The phone kept doing this which would cause havoc with a person with moderate Alzheimer's or a care giver with limited technical knowledge. Also, the display is set to stay on all the time so the battery on this $70 phone drains very fast. Lastly, there are elements that need to be added for a person with dementia to use it correctly.

Overall, for $345 plus $50 for the pad charger, we received a cheap $70 Blu phone with a cell phone App called RAZ. If the app worked it would be great, but we experienced many glitches with problem after problem.

I wound up buying a better phone for dementia with GPS for $119 and $19 per month. Add another $10 for GPS location.
