I had the privilege of working with Brad mccowan who built a very nice website for my tree service. Later I was pleased to talk with Aaron Wilson who helped me re attain my domain after it had expired after a year. Now we can all move forward thanks guys.

Let me start by saying that this review is based strictly on my experience with American Web Builders at 1595 Grand Ave, Baldwin, NY 11510.

The reason for the review is due to the simple fact that I have been waiting nearly 8 months for this CO to complete and deliver me 2 working websites without issues. I signed my contract in Sept of 2023 and it is not almost June and I still DO NOT have 2 completely operational websites. I have spent nearly 3k and have fought tooth and nail to have work completed. On May 17th I was fed up with waiting for my sites to be corrected and completed. I wrote a review for a second time ...yes, a second time... The first request I was asked to take down in return for 2 months of free web maintenance and 2 months of free content posted on LinkedIn, Instagram, FB, and Tic*-Tock. Also, I was told my review would go against my 3ed newly appointed account manager Tyron. In order to be fair to him and give him the opportunity to do what 2 others couldn’t I reluctantly took it down in Jan-Feb 2024. On April 17th I sent several text messages to Tyron asking why changes still had not been made to my site after waiting 2 weeks. I got no response. I then texted Nick who let me know I have yet another account manager named Luna because Tyron was no longer with the Co. I started to see the same patterns of putting me on hold and asking me to provide content I have previously shared with all the account managers to get my items fixed. At this point I couldn’t continue on this pattern so I wrote another review. On May 17th I wrote a short review of my experience with this CO and I was then told that all work would be stopped on my sites and that I would not be able to have access to them until I took the review down.

I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I paid almost 3k in advance and have waited almost 8 months, I still do not have fully functioning websites nor have I made a dime on content posted to social media and I am being told I CAN'T HAVE WHAT I PAID FOR!!! WHY? They said my post was a lie and they could sue me for defamation. I asked Nick to tell me which part was a lie and I would modify it however I would not be taking my review down this time. I was then sent a text from Nick that if I did not take my review down by Monday, May 27th he would send me to his legal department and sue me for defamation.
Facts according to my review and I will provide emails and screenshots of messages so you can see for yourself what you are dealing with. I read the other reviews for this Co and I can confirm their experiences match my experience.

FACTS:
1. I started with this Co in Sept of 2023 I have included a copy of the contract I signed with them. and highlighted the bullet points of their promises and what they can deliver.
2. I have had 4 "account managers" I started with George who I signed up with. He was let go 1 month after I signed up and ended up with Evelyn who was my "dedicated account manager". I will say Evelyn is a nice person but I believe she was given a task she could not manage. I was constantly having to call her and remind her of our appointments. I would give her changes that needed to be made on the sites and they would never be completed in their entirety or completed at all. It was a problem. I complained and complained to the point they decided to give me a new "account manager Tyron". I had to repeat all the steps and forward all the emails I had sent to Evelyn. I was made promises by Tyron and Nick that have to date come true. I was then passed on to Luna in April of 2024 letting me know Tyron was no longer with the Co, then Luna mentioned in a text that he was moved to a higher position however she has access to his phone number, messages, and email. Looks like the facts are he is no longer with the CO.
3. In their contract they state TAT (meaning turnaround time) is 48-72 hours) for a fully functional website!! It's been almost months. !00% money-back guarantee is not true. They will fight you tooth and nail than to return a dime to you regardless of how wrong they are. I have text messages and emails showing I have begged them to let me go and refund just a portion so I can find a better-suited Co and they refuse.
4. I built my honey website ALONE I provided all the images, content, logo, colors, verbiage, and design. When I complained about this, I was told they only build the backend coding of the website however their website and contract show otherwise. On my cryo website, I will say Eveyln created the majority of it and built it out however it did not come without issues.
5. I have lost money waiting for these sites to be built. I will not go into detail as to how much but it is substantial.

I have an unusual business and special needs for marketing. Americanwebbuilders took on the task of updating my old web site, while helping me build my brand and getting me noticed on Google and other search engines. Roy Murphy has been extraordinarily patient in learning about me and finding solutions for to address my particular needs. I would recommend him and Americanwebbuilders to anyone desiring to increase their visibility in the online world.

Roy Murphy really helped out a lot with making the website for my restaurant! I am not too savvy with electronics but he really made the process easy and I couldn’t be happier with how my website came out!!

I cant even give one star for this company...
I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with my recent project experience with American Web Builders. Despite Marcus's persuasion to work with them, the moment I made my payment, he mysteriously disappeared. What was promised to be completed within 4 to 6 weeks unfortunately stretched to 12 weeks, resulting in a final product filled with flaws and errors.

Despite my attempts to cancel the project multiple times, Tyran and Troy consistently convinced me to continue working with them. From the outset, it was evident that there were serious issues with the quality of work. Starting with the frontend development, I encountered numerous warnings that significantly hindered progress. Their lack of attention to detail and failure to adhere to industry standards is appalling, and as a developer myself, I can confidently say that their codebase is on par with high school kids' coding level.

I am determined to share my disappointing experience on various platforms, including Trustpilot, to prevent others from falling into the same trap.

Please heed my warning: Do not work with this company.

They kept asking for more money but never finished the job. 8 months later I still haven’t seen a proof of anything!

Save your money and have a kindergarten student do the job.

They didn’t let me down. They communicated daily. They set it up and hosted it at half the price of other companies. They have been entirely professional. They created everything I asked for.

All I can say is…excellent value.

I have been with this firm for more than a year and they have always exceeded my expectations! My project managers Jason Carter and Adam Hayes keep my projects moving on schedule at a steady pace! They offer honest feedback and ensure they meet all deliverables to my requirements! They are great to have on your team and I highly recommend them for website design and consultations!

This place is a scam! I had over 4k invested in to building me a website. The people at American web builders told me it would take two months and this was back in July! It is now January and all I've heard was they built the back side of my web page . It's okay because my bank is now after them for fraud.

I definitely would not recommend it. I worked with them for a whole year to create my e-commerce site. They missed so many deadlines. I ended up creating a whole website on Shopify myself. My worst experience was on the last day. I asked Faith Beckinson, my assigned project manager, to release my domain from their host. They didn't even do it. I had to call Godaddy to help me to get my domain back. Instead of returning my domain, they had me talk to this person, Luna Grey, whom I had never worked with before. She didn't understand the whole situation and how late the project was. And she was screaming through the phone. In the end, Mike Anderson offered me SEO service to make it up but it was too late, and for the sake of my future peace I decided to not work with this company anymore, because they are sketchy and incapable. Be careful. They would never refund your money, even though the receipt said 100% money back if you are not happy with the website GUARANTEE. And they aren’t based in New York City, because I live in NYC and I ask to go to the office to work things out. I don't think they are even based in the U.S., and not American. For sure, I believe that I have been scammed by this company.

One of the things I liked was that the price was very affordable, great customer service when speaking to team members… I like that Asher took the time to explain the process to me step by step the whole way through…. And even on questions that were hard for me to understand, the guidance was there… I’m finally starting to understand how websites work and what it takes to develop a successful one…. although mine is in the beginning phases of it, I believe it will be a very successful site… I will definitely keep doing business with these guys, I feel that their work is amazing and I can’t wait to see my site continue to grow…. I will definitely recommend them to other people looking to develop their websites and even upgrade them..

I hired American Web Builders to design my brand, website, etc. They did an AMAZING job with project management, Roy Murphy. His work was exceptional and incredible. Even though I have never met him he is always patient, available, and always does the best he can do. I wish every project manager was like him. I wish I could give him 100 stars but 5 is the highest I can give.

Troy Maxwell has been working with his designers to create my logo. I found this company via text following opening my business. They texted me. Working with Troy has been fine. Troy has worked with what I have asked of him. He has had his crew draw probably 15 revised drawings via Mt Request. We are nearly complete. Troy has taken the time to have friendly conversations outside of the scope of my logo. Conversation is good. Thanks for helping me out, Troy. Look forward to our completed design. Very proud.
