Decent First experience

I wanted to write this because our current online shopping culture is unfortunately dominated by a couple mega corps and navigating who is trustworthy to buy from outside of those (even though those corps are terribly untrustworthy) can be tricky with all of the scams out there.

I contacted first about the stock of a product and got an extremely fast response. Price was at or below other sites and many of those had none in stock anyway. Purchased the smart watch and it was shipped and arrived quickly and in good condition. I can only comment on this particular purchase, but it was a good experience with good communication. So, if you are cautious, you can contact them first with questions.

Professional. Fast. Great Price

In searching for the best delivered price for a Home Assistant Green controller, I was surprised to find that this small Northern California company seemed to be at the top of the list. I had never heard of Ameridroid, but I decided to take a chance on these folks because the delivered price was significantly lower than from Amazon. I am very happy with my choice. The entire order process was smooth and professional, with same day shipment and regular shipping updates. The package arrived promptly and in perfect condition. I urge you to give these folks a try for your any of your needs of this sort.

Great service

Called before to ask about the best way to go with Home Assistant and they were very helpful. After we chatted they recommended one of their Home Assistant Yellow Kits, I order one that was assembled and it worked like a charm. Would recommend

Ordered a mini HDMI converter to regular came in fast and I received a handwritten receipt that said thank you with my name and a large, sour patch kid. I would definitely support them again

Dont buy there

Dont buy there, if you are from germany. He has other laws as germans assume. The transport is on the customers risk. Even, whe he uses the cheapest and worst parcel service. So I lost 300€. Too expensive to pull him to court for 300€, so he betrays all european customers, when it goes to transport risk. We see also complains about him in other forums.

The shipping method used was "USPS First-Class Package International," which you selected during checkout as it's a more affordable option compared to faster, insured alternatives like UPS or FedEx that we also offer. While this service is reliable for many shipments, it doesn't include built-in insurance, which is why we provided an optional third-party insurance through Route at the time. We're glad you chose to add that protection to your order.

In our order confirmation email, we included a link to our blog with clear instructions on how to file a claim with Route if an issue arose.

Unfortunately, by the time you contacted us, the claim window with Route had closed, so we couldn't process it through them. We advised disputing the charge with your credit card company as an alternative, allowing a neutral third party to review the situation.

Based on feedback like yours, we've made changes: We no longer offer third-party insurance and instead focus on ensuring higher-value orders include carrier-provided insurance where possible. That said, we always encourage customers to monitor their tracking closely and file any claims promptly, as carriers and insurers have strict time limits.We're committed to fair practices for all customers, including those in Europe, and we're here to help resolve issues whenever we can.

Item not received, no refund

Long delivery time, moved in the meantime. Product was returned to sender (as indicated by tracking). I offered to pay shipping again. AmeriDroid refused to do anything, claiming that they did not receive the item back. How is that my problem? Now I neither have the product nor got the money back.

Thank you for sharing your review—we value all feedback and are truly sorry for the frustration this situation caused. Losing a package is never ideal, and we regret that we couldn't resolve it to your satisfaction at the time.

For clarity, the shipping method you selected was Globegistics eCom Packet (with an average delivery of 7-14 days, clearly noted as uninsured, and with a strong recommendation to add Route insurance). It appears you opted not to include that optional protection. According to the tracking, the package was indeed returned to sender, but we never received it back on our end. We advised contacting DHL directly to attempt retrieval, as we couldn't issue a replacement or refund without the item in hand. Unfortunately, it seems the package may have been lost during the return process, possibly complicated by your address change, which prevented successful delivery initially.

We've learned from experiences like this and have updated our practices: We no longer offer third-party insurance options and instead work to include carrier-provided coverage for higher-value orders where needed. That said, we still rely on customers to monitor tracking closely to ensure any claims can be filed within the carriers' time limits.

Pacco mai arrivato, reso ottenuto

Ordinai una odroid board il 17 aprile del 2022, ma non è mai arrivata. Nonostante ciò, mi sono tenuto in contatto mensilmente con loro via mail ed insieme abbiamo concordato di continuare ad attendere data i chilometri che il pacco doveva percorrere.
Solo ora , rincontrollando le mail mi ero reso conto che loro avevano confuso il mio indirizzo con uno molto simile ( purtroppo può capire quando ordini pacchi dall'altra parte del mondo) e prontamente loro hanno effettuato un reso sulla mia PayPal.

Hiccups but awesome service.

Few hiccups but more of miscommunications which were resolved fast. This is my first go-to for new Odroid products. Decent price, fast arrival and products are always of good quality. I can't get or find a better deal in Canada.
