Ammaari Stones Avis 

My experience with Ammaari Stones was a mixed process of good product value undermined by severe delivery and logistical failures.

On the positive side, the Raj Green Indian Sandstone paving packs are of excellent quality, featuring a lovely finish and natural colour variation that looks great once laid. Furthermore, customer service management eventually engaged constructively to resolve the post-delivery issues.

However, the fulfillment and courier process was deeply problematic. The order suffered from multiple delivery failures, and the initial shipment arrived with a mix of damaged slabs and a missing piece. The tracking systems and courier communication proved unreliable, leading to a frustrating sequence of missed delivery promises that left tradespeople waiting on-site unnecessarily.

While Ammaari Stones' customer operations team were communicative once reached, their standard terms impose strict breakage tolerances that initially complicated the claims process. To their credit, they ultimately applied a gesture of goodwill by waiving this policy and refunding the cost of the damaged and missing stone.

In summary, while the stone itself is high quality and customer support eventually stepped in to make things right, prospective buyers should anticipate potential logistics friction with their courier network and allow a healthy buffer for transit breakages and scheduling delays.

Sandstone paving slabs were well packaged and arrived generally intact with just a few chipped on corners. The delivery process was a nightmare. Missed preferred delivery date with no communication given. Then on the rescheduled delivery date, the driver first of all bought the wrong pallet and then returned with the correct pallet, but grounded it on the kerb so it was stranded in the road. Ended up having to shift 33 x 30kg+ slabs off the road and onto my driveway.

Competent DIY’er. Bought a patio pack of brown Indian sandstone. I hadn’t used Ammaari before, price appealed and went for the cheaper 18mm thick so was a bit concerned re strength compared to 22mn and I hadn’t allowed much spare. Need not of worried, delivery arrived, packaged great, all in tact, laid stone and gave some hammer to level with rubber mallet with no issues. Cuts were easy and thinnish strips were easy to do.

Very good stones, good price and quick delivery..

I had a pallet of Kandala grey porcelain delivered in May which were really well packed, flat on the pallet, no damages at all and the slabs were decent quality.
We extended our project to go all around our property and ordered another pallet in June....this one turned up with slabs laid flat in the middle of the pallet and then on all x4 sides x6 slabs were palleted upright on the slab edges. We had x7 smashed on the pallet in transit or from the suppliers depot (Ammari don't hold stock, just get them from wherever they can.) Also the colour wasn't just a little bit different it was markedly different! WHEN THESE SLABS WERE LAID AND THE PROFESSIONAL INSTALLER TAPPED THEM DOWN X4 SLABS JUST BROKE IN PIECES!! I had to buy more slabs from a local supplier, yes £7 more per Sqm but the difference was astounding compared to the poor quality of the Ammari slabs!! I would not advise anyone to use this company, save the hassle and save the additional expense and go to a reputable local company, they will buy back any overs you may have and they will also pay for any damages.
I have called, emailed, sent all the info etc, but as with a lot of other reviews on here, they do not communicate and if they do they keep asking for the same info etc as a deflecting tactic, hoping that you will eventually give up. I would not recommend this company TO ANYONE.

I didn’t receive the advertised m2 coverage, and 6 slabs arrived damaged. Have been trying to resolve for several days but getting nowhere. They have said I need to use 37mm grout lines to get the m2 I purchased. Terrible customer service, will have to speak with my bank.

We recently ordered Raj Green Indian sandstone 900x600. The delivery arrived on time and there was no damage. One thing I would say is if ordering multiple crates, make sure you integrate the crates. We have a line with a greener undertone and most of the rest of the patio with a brown/red undertone.

I am very disappointed with my experience. I should have checked reviews which I didn't at all.
I ordered porcelain slabs for 17m², and the price clearly reflected that quantity. There was no option for 15m², while other sizes, such as 22m², were available with their own prices. Naturally, I expected to receive enough slabs to cover the 17m² I had paid for.

My order was delivered on 1st July while I was at work, so the driver left the slabs outside my side door. My family and I then had to move each slab into the garden ourselves, one by one.

When my landscaper cane to discuss fee things about the project in the third week of July, he immediately noticed that only enough slabs had been delivered to cover 15m², not the 17m² I had ordered. I received 30 slabs, when I should have received 34 for the size I purchased.

The company has a 7-day period for reporting shortages or requesting refunds, but as an ordinary customer, how would I know the correct number of slabs that should have been delivered? Most people rely on the supplier to provide the correct quantity. Unless you're a landscaper or know how to calculate slab quantities, there's no obvious way to spot a shortage until installation begins.

I believe the company should clearly state on its website exactly how many slabs are included for each square metre option, so customers can easily check their delivery. That would avoid confusion and help prevent this from happening to others.

Although the quality of the slabs appears to be very good, I am extremely disappointed that there was no consideration given for a refund or resolution. My security camera only captured part of the delivery because the slabs were stacked outside the frame, so it doesn't prove the quantity delivered.

I'm sharing this review to make other customers aware. Before accepting your order, make sure you know exactly how many slabs you should receive for the area you've purchased. I trusted that I would receive the correct quantity based on what was advertised, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case.

First time buying outdoor porcelain slabs online and I was a bit cautious.
Amamaari stones pricing, products, reviews and delivery were unbelievable. The Kendal product was brilliant quality 600x900,20mm thick To top it of I received everything I paid for and didn't have a single one damaged, when received them on curbside delivery.
Would absolutely use this company again to finish my garden and I have a lot to order very soon.

We were having our patio done, the guy who was doing it asked us to order our slabs from Ammaari Stones, we obviously hadn't actually seen what we were ordering, but thought trust the process!
The slabs were delivered within a few days of ordering. The driver was great, he delivered them as far into the garden of our property as he could.
They look absolutely amazing down, the price was very reasonable. We would have no hesitation in recommending Ammaari Stones to anyone. Thank you.

Ordered 30 porcelain slabs had to change my plan as 5 were damaged on the face.Although well packed and I did check the edges could not see the face until opening the individual packs.Also when ordering took my order and payment only to turn round and say we have not got them in stock.So paid for 30 only got 25 usable

Whilst the price is good, their communication and aftersales are rubbish. They give a date and say between 8am -1700. Nothing happens, so you have to call. We will call you back and let you know.....nothing. when the delivery turns up and the driver reports broken slabs, because the pallets they are on are broken, they say well that's tough its in our 7% tolerance level. So, as a customer you are out of pocket.
