For anybody who wants to participate in market research, make Angelfish your first port of call! I have been part of a couple of projects recently and they really set the standard for professional, thorough, efficient research. Fantastic, friendly team;

They just want your data for free part 2
they just make you do the survey and then they tell you you don't qualify for the study.
If you are a highly qualified person born oversea, they'll never classify you as suitable for their interviews.

I can reassure that we do not share your personal information with any third parties, as clearly stated in our Privacy Policy. We take privacy seriously, and your data is handled with the utmost care.
Regarding the screener survey, these are used to determine eligibility for specific studies. Since our clients have specific criteria, unfortunately, not everyone will qualify for every study. We understand this can be frustrating, however, the criteria are set by our clients to ensure their target audience are included within their market research sessions.
As a UK-based company, we are only able to include participants living in the UK, but being born outside of the UK does not automatically disqualify anyone. We work with a wide variety of participants from diverse backgrounds.

Great research experience!!
I have just completed my first research project with Angelfish which took two weeks. I found it really interesting, learned a lot and was very impressed with the efficiency of the whole project. A couple of glitches at the start were dealt with promptly and successfully. A great experience!!

They just want our data for free
I've given up applying for research now. Everytime they send an email inviting me for research, I have to answer several questions. This is clearly a way of getting free data collection because I'm never picked for the research. Even after I've filled in answers to all the question, they will continue to send out invite emails which should be unnecessary if enough people have responded. They will say that each project has different criteria, which they do, but it can't be the case that I would be unsuitable for all of them. I've wasted so much time filling in these forms.

These short questionnaires help us understand whether an applicant is a good fit for the specific research project. Each study has its own unique criteria to ensure that the findings are meaningful and accurate. While we wish we could include everyone, our studies do attract a high volume of interest, and not everyone can be selected every time.
We’d like to reassure you that your data is treated with the utmost care. We never pass your information on to third parties, and any screening data is deleted three months after completion, as outlined in our personal information policy.

Don't waste your time
Don't waste your time. They send me regular emails, requesting that I take part in their surveys, etc. For ages, I used to religiuosly always reply, yet always get rejected. I gave up until recently when I received one in my inbox that was particularly pertinent to me and, once again, an automatic rejection. Maybe it's because I'm not an ethnic minority, I have no idea, but don't let them waste your time, too. I must have filled out 100+ forms, each time probably spending 5 minutes doing so, only to receive rejection after rejection.

A fun experience.
I don't often respond to many of the invites but every so often, my interest gets piqued.
