Follow up to my previous review. A refund was finally issued.

Ordered the monkey feet, but since my hand helds did not fit, returned within the warranty time period. They provided a pre-paid label to be deducted from the return. It has been a week since they received the return, and I have reached out several times with no response about when I can expect the refund. Crickets.

Delivery took a long time and the product didn’t fit my home dumbbells. When I asked to return them they said it fell outside their return window, saying “they wish they could help but unfortunately there is nothing they can do”. Of course there is, simply offer the refund!

Wouldn’t recommend.

So far so good. A little bit annoying if you have a gym buddy to split it with but no problem.

So I originally purchased a pair of these monkey feet for my pandemic home-gym after seeing all the running advertisements for it online. Shipped fast enough, didn't have to pay duties (was pre-paid with DHL shipping apparently). Will say it was -very- expensive.

If you home gym, you know that exercise variety for legs is just... sparse. There's only so many Squat/Dumbbell variations you can do, and after that it's just farmers walks and maybe some resistance band abductions/crab walks.

So I purchased the pair so I can do some leg extension, leg curl, hip flexors and weighted pull-ups.

ORIGINALLY I regretted my purchase. I found it to be cumbersome, hard to install, hard to remove etc. I started to realize that this view was encouraged by the fact that I work out with a gymbuddy. Soon I started to incorporate -cleanly- unequipping the device (ie so my partner can just slip his foot in instead of re-assembling the thing), and this transition made all the difference in the world. No more cumbersomeness except the original setup (ie once).

But what -really- sold me was setting my bench to decline, putting my head above the seat (so my legs are point to the floor) and doing decline lying leg curls in this position. This gave me a isolation and pump in my hamstrings that I have -never- felt, not even with the leg curl machines at the gym. This is so far the best exercise I've tried with the monkey feet.

For leg extension, it's a little bit more awkward but it works (just not as effectively). It requires a rather odd incline, or to sit on top of some books, or have som extra elevation.

I'm satisfied I bought the pair. I rate this five stars, though I'm inclined to rate it 4 just because the total cost for the pair is somewhat exorbitant.
