I initially signed up for Kits.ai due to the promise of a 3-day free trial. However, to my surprise, I was charged for a full month within just 6 hours, despite still being within the trial period. The quality of the service did not meet my expectations. While attempting to cancel my subscription, I encountered a concerning message implying that I could be banned permanently and would lose my remaining credits. I decided to go back and try to cancel again, and this time the threatening message was gone. Nonetheless, I was informed that I could continue using the service until the end of either the trial period or the improperly charged month. I feel that this experience was misleading and unacceptable.

I was incredibly disappointed with Kit.ai's text-to-speech feature, primarily because they do not offer even a trial period. Eager to use it for a song I wrote, I paid for a subscription, only to find out that there is no control over the text-to-speech output. The result sounds like a computer monotonously reading the words, which is far from what I expected for a musical project.
Additionally, their no-refund policy is a significant drawback. I strongly suggest staying away from this platform unless you are thoroughly familiar with its capabilities and limitations.
