Appliance Repair 512 Avis 

Nathan is the most knowledgeable appliance repair person I have ever used. He stays up-to-date, knows repairs and workarounds, is thorough and dependable.

When I was having problems with my refrigerator I called a few places before these guys and explained what was happening. They all said they couldn’t tell anything without a service call. When I talked to Nathan he immediately knew what was causing the problem, told me about how much it would cost to fix it and what he had to do. Also, he said he could come out the next day.

They are a little pricey I think, but I will not use anyone else in the future.

Good service repaired next day when part came in

The repair person came over and replaced a relay switch and said to check the refregerator in 24 hours. The following day I checked the refrigerator and it was not coolings so I called again. The repair person came back and said the refregirator repair would be too costly and would probably only last another year or too. He said the compressor needed to be replaced. I called LG and they said my compressor was under warranty. I called a LG certified repair company and they said that because "Appliance Repair 512" removed the original relay switch and replaced it with an incompatible part they could not repair the refrigerator and LG would not cover the compressor replacement. Under the warranty I would have to pay for the labor ($450) and the part would be free ($500 aprox). Now I have to buy a new refrigerator and I had to pay for two service calls. You would think a professional repair company would know about manufacture warranty and proceed accordinly or at least tell customers to contact the manufacture before they replace parts that invalidates your warranty.

I called other companies who could not come out for a service call for days. But these guys had an opening for a midday repair.
After a power outage the refrigerator was not cooling. The repairman called to get details and had me send a picture. He walked me through a simple step to get it cooling again.
I will call them again for future repairs for their availability and for their honesty.

Nathan Cox has repaired our dishwasher and refrigerator. I am impressed with his professionalism: prompt, courteous, and skilled. He is now my go-to for any appliance repairs.

This is what went right: They were available quickly and at my convenience. The repair tech diagnosed the problem with my dishwasher immediately and accurately.

This is what went wrong: The problem with my dishwasher was that the filter was clogged. The tech knew immediately. And he cleaned it. He was in my home for less than 15 minutes, and he charged me $130 to clean the filter. I would’ve been fine paying a service call for $50 or less. But $130?! I felt cheated and taken advantage of. I will never call this business again even though the service was quick and accurate. And I would never refer this business to a friend because of how much they charged me for the little work that was done.

After investigating 2 minutes, Nathan, the repairman diagnosed what two other repairmen failed to see. The problem with my dishwasher not draining was not the dishwasher itself but rather a piece of glass that was lodged in the drain hose. He had to work a long time to remove it, but it finally was removed. FINALLY my dishwasher drains!!!

tHE REPAIRMAN CAME IN AND QUICKLY FOUND THE PROBLEM WITH MY DISHWASHER DRAINING WATER AND HE FIXED IT PROMPTLY

Guy showed up.. Fixed my dryer.. Easy. Hopefully won't need to but next time I'll call these folks again.

Used them twice. Once for my LG fridge and another for my Dish Washer. Tech was great and they made it easy.

The young man showed up late, did not know how to identify the problem, got in an argument with the supervisor on the phone, did not fully reassemble the oven (leaving extra parts on the floor), did not follow-up on finding the replacement part, and was generally not customer friendly.

Arrived as scheduled, knowledgeable about refrigerators, resolved issue.

Nathan was very professional and knowledgeable. He fixed our dishwasher for a very reasonable price.

I had bad experience with this company. They charged me more than the job worth. The total was supposed to be $189 and the technician charged me $220. I called the company to get a refund and they said that they will check with the technician. I haven't heard from the company since then.

Very thorough and honest assessment of my problem. Turns out it wasn't even my appliance, it was my vents! They were very courteous and professional. I'd use them again if the need arose!

They sent a technician named Mickey to fix my clogged refrigerator. Did an excellent job in record time...courteous, knowledgable, professional. A pleasure to talk with too, and he gave me great advice on the protocols of good refrigerator maintenance. Price was reasonable too. My highest recommendation.

I wasnt there but I spoke to the repairman on the phone.
The relay he said would work blew out the panel but there was no guarantee it would work. It was $250 to put in a $30 part that didnt
work. He shouldn't have acted so sure it would have worked.

$300.00 to replace a &10.00 part. Took about 15 minutes. Provided a quote to replace a burner knob on oven for another $300.00. I was shocked. $75.00 just to come out and I thought that was included in price and to fix could not be much more...the $75.00 is additional even if no repair is completed.

Very efficient and helpful. Discovered a kinked hose, and easily fixed it by widening the opening under the sink cabinet.
Dishwasher works great, also gave pointers on oven issues.
