The delivery guy refused to take my old…

The delivery guy refused to take my old fridge freezer when I payed extra to have it taken away made every excuse not to take it even saying he had a bad back I wasn't happy with the service I received could of been a lot better

Absolutely appalling service- AVOID

Absolutely appalling service! Rude, delivered 3 days late - I made a complaint a few days later got a basic reply- effectively saying not interested- things can go wrong with any company but the measure is how you deal with it- once they have your money they are not interested- AVOID!

Regarding the reply they have made I don’t agree- the staff member Lawrence I spoke to never mentioned payment had to be made by a certain time and was very unhelpful - a few minutes after I paid I was sent an email saying delivery not possible on Friday ( not sorry, no explanation etc) regarding the fact they don’t normally fit in my area, I didn’t know that- I asked if they could do it and they said yes- they have still not responded to my email complaint only responding on Trustpilot because it’s public- AVOID

We’re sorry to hear that you feel this way, however we do need to clarify a few important points.

Your invoice was paid after our delivery routes had already been finalised. Once a route reaches capacity, it is closed, which can happen quickly. This meant your order could not be included in the original schedule, and a delay was unfortunately unavoidable.

Despite this, we made exceptional arrangements to accommodate you. We do not install in your area, but we organised and sent a dedicated two-person team specifically for your delivery and installation. This was done to ensure your order was completed as soon as possible, going beyond our normal service parameters.

We also take issue with the suggestion that we were “not interested” once payment was received. Your case was reviewed, responded to, and escalated to management, who have issued a clear apology and explanation. While you may not have been satisfied with the outcome, it is not accurate to say your concerns were ignored.

Delays can occur in any logistics-based service, particularly when scheduling depends on route capacity and payment timing. That said, we acknowledge that our communication could have been clearer, and for that we apologise.

We believe we made every reasonable effort to resolve the situation and complete your order, including steps that fall outside our usual operations.

Induction hob smashed

Ordered an induction hob. Due to renovation work, we weren't able to check the item had been safely delivered, and honestly didn't expect to have to. On opening, the hob was completely smashed, and there was no support or care from the company afterwards. Incredibly disappointing and a large sum of money to be down in quite trying times with no support or aftercare

As we personally handle all our own deliveries to ensure the highest level of care, we encourage all customers to review our Terms and Conditions at www.applianceworldonline.com/returns before ordering. These terms require any damaged to be reported within 48 hours of receipt. This gives you adequate time to unpack and check item for damages.

Because this was delivered in December 2025 and you are now reporting the item as smashed over 3 months later, we are unfortunately unable to offer a replacement or a refund so many months later. We must adhere to this reporting window to remain fair to all our customers.

We truly wish we could have provided a different outcome for you and appreciate your feedback.

Buying & Installation process very…

Buying & Installation process very smooth. No issues! Old one out & new fridge freezer was in place within 30mins. No mess or problems at all. Would definitely recommend buying from here

Delivered two faulty appliances to me

Delivered two faulty appliances to me, first set of delivery men were lovely, the second one not so much, when I reported what he said was basically called a liar.

They did to be fair refund all my money without fuss.
