Shady business! I did a google search to find the gov passport website and I clicked on the top one, went all the way to the payment page, and luckily my credit union's security blocked it. I went back in my browser history to see the google search and this slimy website was on top as a SPONSORED result. Also, thanks Google for allowing this to happen and make money at the same time. Class act.
After finding out this was not a legit US government website on the same day as my order I requested a cancellation. They offered to provide solutions and I let them know I had already purchased another passport through the proper channels and requested to cancel again. They said they would process my cancelation and then offered me a discount. This email did not show up in my email box, but I had already been clear I did not want my order. As I was paying my credit card bill I saw I never received a refund and went back to the email chain. That is when I saw the discount offer, but no where did it state if I did not reply that my cancelation would not be processed that I had already requested and confirmed twice. I emailed and requested it to be canceled AGAIN only to be emailed back immediately saying my request could not be confirmed because we are 10 days past my 30 days. We went back and forth before they threatened me. Thankfully a charge back was processed for me through my CC company but this is predatory behavior by their company and Google for allowing paid ads to appear above US government sites.
The passport site is fraudelant, the our government should protect us from these sites. I order a passport for my husband, paid 187.87, and they sent me a DS11 and a list of other things that I would need to take to the post office for him to process, with an additional $130. Which would mean that I would be paying over $300 for my husband's US Passport. I actually thought I was on our US Passport site. They even have a fake logo that looks like our government seal. I would like for an agency to force them to return our money.
This company is a legit scam. They took me for $130.00. For that price I got a shipping label and my forms filled out. Which was BS. I did a new form with fake information on the passport information form and submitted it and they took it and now wanted a payment with no verification of any sort. I reached out to them and got no where.
This is a scam website that takes your money. The company poses as an official passport agency and gathers your personal information, including credit card information. Please do not fall victim to this scam!
