This company is a very deceitful. It is FREE to file the paperwork to get a passport, which I did not know since I’ve never had one. They do not make it clear that the government fee is separate unless you click through every single page of “extra” information. I found that out the hard way after I went to the post office with all my paperwork. I tried contacting them and telling them I was confused by this-I am a senior citizen and didn’t understand-and they said it was clearly stated and I did not deserve a refund on my receipt and the paperwork I received-after the fact. I offered to send back the paperwork they sent me and they said no. It cost $187 for something I could have gotten for free. I feel very frustrated that these types of companies are out there tricking people like this. When you have a website called USAPASSPORTS.com., that is deceitful. When you charge that much money, that is criminal.

Scam! I was charged over $200 for them to print and mail ME a form that I filled out online for THEM and utilized a passport picture that I provided and a check list that says I still need provide documents and more money to the US Department of State and USPS. Absolutely RIDICULOUS! They got me! Don't let them get you!

They charge you $188 to ship the passport documents and your photo to your house. IT DOES NOT GIVE YOU THE ACTUAL PASSPORT, WHICH IS WHAT I ASSUMED I GOT FOR THE $188. You still have to pay the government $165 and submit the documents in person to a city hall or post office. Their "Expedited" service process doesn't even make sense (found on their main page) because they want you to ship the documents to them, but on the US government website it says "You must present a physical Photo ID at the time of application". How can "you" present the photo ID if you mail it to them? They also charge $25 for shipping a simple document envelope. The service charge is $149 and there are fees to get to a total of $188. The whole thing is a scam to make you think you are getting the passport delivered to your house. I feel very bad for falling for this scam.

This website presents itself as if it were the US government site for replacing a passport. Unless you scroll to the bottom of the page and search for specifics like FAQs or fees, you assume you are on the Dept. of State website and freely provide your mother's maiden name, your social security number and other critical information. In addition, the fee this company charges is similar to the passport fee, but you still owe the IS government that fee. All you get for your time and money is a printed copy of the forms you completed online and a checklist. Avoid this scam website and make sure you're on the legitimate .gov website.
