Hi! My name is Cindy and I am the person behind AquaDash, an Australian owned Company, formerly Great Aussie Swim Parkas. I first started Great Aussie Swim Parkas back in 2010 because I wanted a garment that would keep my kids warm and cosy after their swim lessons and would also protect my car seats. Back then I just couldn't find anything. Fast forward 15 years and we can now be found in Swim Schools around Australia and we are building our reputation in the USA. In 2020 when COVID 19 shut down public pools, I decided this was the perfect time to concentrate my efforts on going sustainable and also expanding into swimwear. AquaDash was the result. In short, AquaDash is dedicated to bringing affordable, sustainable quality that is both practical yet comfortable to the pool. Best buy ever!!
My friend and I bought one each for the long, cold winter and we both agree we have made a great choice. The swim parka is made of quality material that feels heavy when you pick it up but doesn’t feel heavy when you wear it. It’s super warm and it’s lovely to have dry car seats. I bought the flamingo and my friend bought the daisy and they stand out among the single colour of other brands. I love, love, love it!

Pros & Cons
Pros: Well made garment which fits as described; generous and comfortable. The zipper is of good quality and is covered at the top with a fold of material which I love. The length is perfect.
Cons: It’s not so warm. The terrycloth lining is thin. I really wanted something waterproof not just water resistant. The buttons at the wrist are extremely annoying and uncomfortable when resting your hands. They should be on the other side and out of the way or not there at all. The wrist band should be wider so it sits flat so resting your hands is comfortable.

Just to clarify on the waterproofing — our parkas are designed to keep car seats dry and protected from wet bathers rather than being waterproof on the outside like a raincoat.

My son just loves his new swim parka!
My son just loves his new swim parka! It keeps him so warm after getting out of the pool, especially after late afternoon lessons in the cooler weather. I love it too! It’s so quick and convenient. Straight on him, straight into the car and home for a hot shower. No wet car seats. I would highly recommend these to anyone- they are such great quality.

The Aquadash keeps me so warm in winter after a swim. I can throw it on and go home to shower instead of using the poor public facilities. I love that they come in a variety of designs, colours and sizes, I got one for the whole family. They fit very well.

Car stays dry
Quick delivery, parka is great for straight after the pool heading home in the car. Sizing feels good with enough wiggle room without being huge. No leak through and warm and dry in the winter !

I love my swim coat
I love my swim coat. It makes going homw from the pool quicker and easier. I don't have to go to the change rooms and dry off completely just to go home!
It is a little bulky to carry, but most of the time I wear it to the pool and home again.
