I have to confess I only used Asda Photo ( Max Spielmann ), because of the promo code, buy one, get one half price.
The website is well laid out and easy to navigate although the, make an account, is as much use as a chocolate teapot in the Sahara.
My wife is in the later stages of a horrible disease, vascular dementia, at the young age of just 59, so I decided to give my son and daughter a keepsake of a framed poster of her when she was at her most stunning.
As mentioned, i said the make an account was a waste of time, this proved the case when i tried to log in, even though i had only just oppened the account, i was met with the message, to many log in attempts, locked out of account, try again later, so i could not track my order.
I received an email informing me my order was ready for collection, so off i went in my van. Now i am disabled and the collection point, for me, was too far to walk and carry 2 large items, so i unloaded my scooter and proceeded to the store. The member of staff there was helpful and went to collect my items. She came back with a card tube, i told her, 'That's not mine, i ordered them to be framed. After a call to where ever, i was told, the frames are sent separately, and they frame my items in-store. So i asked, why have i just received a message that my order was ready, wasted fuel, time, energy and struggled with my scooter, for nothing? I knew this was not the fault of the lady in the store, and because she was good at her job, she took my items from the tube to inspect, lucky as one was scratched and needed replacing.
I had to leave the items i went to collect so that they could be framed and made ready for collection, meaning the need for another journey. I was asked to confirm my contact number and told to ignore future emails and only return when she calls me.
Due to the problems encounteted i only rate Asda photo as 3 stars, at a time when everyone except the elite are struggling, waisting fuel is an expensive unnesasery.

Missing & destroyed orders
3rd time this has happend now where the order has not arrived and is not showing on the orders section of my online account, despite having the email confirmation. Received and despatch notification & tracking, however when the order arrived the photos off my newborn son were missing. Contacted both customer service and the address provided on the despatch email to query where they had sent the photos of my son to, but still nothing back. Website needs some improvements as orders never show, despite being logged in and checking out on account. Was advised by one of the representatives on a previous query that only open orders show and therefore if it has been despatched then this will not longer show on the account. How stupid, as this completely defeats the object of having an account. I previously resolved this by going into the store nearly two weeks after the order, however due to recent surgery this is not possible.
Also the order that did arrive was not packaged correctly and therefore the large print was bent in half, which is still noticeable even after being placed into a frame.
How good the service they have
My experience was amazing. The young man that served me this morning went above and beyond. He really saved my day. Just sorry I did not get his name.
Straight forward and reliable
I’ve used Asda photo a number of times - I’ve had them delivered to my address and also done the 1 hour store collection for the machine. Every time, it’s been so straight forward and simple. Great value for money and a fast turnaround

The worst film developing skills...
It took 2.5 weeks compared to my promised 7 days. My actual negatives are missing and truly terrible developing skills. I can't even go somewhere else and redo it because they never returned my negatives back. This was for a client for their wedding day. What a disappointment. I won't be back.
The photos come out very nice each time…
The photos come out very nice each time we send them to you but the last time the pictures came out and when put in the Album some of them turned black. I don't know why this happened coz it was the first time we see this kind of thing happening. Maybe it's something wrong with the new albums.

Messed up our order and we had to pay again
Ordered 26 photos on line for collection at our local Asda. Needed them for the next day so seemed like a good system to use.
Printed the first 3 fine and then said "sorry there's been an error" and then cancelled the printing. Screen told us to go back to home menu so we did, entered the code again, and now it wasn't accepting the code as we already entered it.
Tried calling customer support but was only open 9-6 which is a bit annoying if you need to go to one after work, what's the point?
Had to spend the money again for the same photos that we had already paid for, awful service.

Very expensive for postal service basic photo prints standard size. Try Snapfish instead, they cost much less.
Asda advertise as prices starting at 9p per print but that's if you order more than 500.
Still a good company for photo printing

This is because I wasn't aware of the change over until it was too late and now I'm heartbroken because I can't recover them. Generally as I say though I have never had any issues when ordering etc so still a good company for photo printing
