Associated Air Services Avis 56

My employer arranged collection from my home address on Monday, but the collection wasn't made until the following day, when I was out. My mobile number was on the collection side of the delivery label, but AAS didn't contact me at any point - no indication of the collection time, no indication that they would come on a different day, and no indication that they had come when I was out. Apparently the drivers don't have mobile phones, and AAS doesn't have notification systems or alternative ways to contact the mobile numbers given for the collection or delivery addresses.
When I called to find out when the package would be collected they denied the original collection date, made no apology for failing to collect the package, and made little attempt to resolve the problem, leaving me with little confidence that it's worth trying again.
Given the positive reviews I assume that AAS are good for business to business deliveries in London, but I can only say that they aren't good for residential collections in other parts of the country.

I have been using the AAS services for more than a year and always been impressed with how efficient and prompt they are.
Elena and Taylor are always available to assist with all my last minute requests.
