This place sales items and they have no idea, they don't even know the difference between an s type jaguar and an x type jag. They think the same facia trim fits both, and they dont listen about the location pins are different on each jaguar,
The facia trim they supply only fits the x type and not my s type.
After sales help is effing useless, and they do and say anything rather than correct the problem.
DON'T BUY FROM THESE, THEY KNOW ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT CARS AND RADIO INSTALLATIONS

Companies like this should just close and save innocent peoples time. I ordered something on the website that said it would do something complete withstanding my cars specification. It turns out I needed more things that will cost a lot more I should have just gone to other companies that were selling everything for a lot cheaper. Service is absolutely terrible also. The main person claims there’s 8+ people working but I only ever manage to get through to him the least helpful. I understand things go wrong but with this companies attitude towards customers I’m flabbergasted they are still operating.

They sent the wrong product and charged me £120 for the wrong product, when you calculate what they sent me it was only £59. Then they were so stupid they tried to make me spend £75 on a product that wouldn’t work. The product they sent is for facelift models. This companies a joke and honesty you better off going eBay. They do not have a clue about car audio, they probably know more about scamming

3. Contacted to be told out of stock and price has increased.

5.5 Sorry, I forgot the part where we all wait for AVW to reply to this review, saying that it's not true and all the reviews are lies!

Pretty shoddy website, accepts money for products they don’t have in stock and they only update the price of products when you try and buy them. Had my order cancelled as they don’t stock the product they advertised. Apparently no funds have been processed but my bank is still £70 lighter.

Update: the simple thing to do would be pay someone to update your website to the correct prices and timescales and I’m sure you’d spend less time responding to reviews such as this.

After searching the Internet, I found that the edifier speakers I was after were £50 cheaper on the audio visual world website than anywhere else. I made payment online and received confirmation of my order by email and shipping details. The speakers arrive the very next day, delivered DPD.
I called audio visual world as I had some questions and spoke to a great guy who was friendly and happy to help me. This was an amazing, professional service and received the speakers the day after purchase online. I will definitely be using this company again in the future and will be recommending them highly.

Be very careful looks like this company will take your money with no product in stock hopefully they will stop trading soon and realise no one will by from them as only 2* rating that should really be 0*

Ordered a fascia which was advertised on their website. Had order cancelled as it was a "special order item" and directing me to another supplier at £30+ more. If products are advertised they are not special! In fact it is a criminal offence under the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations affecting my "transactional decision" to advertise products they simply do not sell. No phone number to contact and email unresponsive.

Update: No love lost for committing a criminal offence - says a lot!

This website try to hide behind the SMALL 'check availability' button when they know the item is out of stock. Normally, companies have an automated system which stock takes so that if there are no products available then it does not allow the order to be made. No, not this company. They allow you to make the purchase and give you a purchase number knowing that the item is never going to come. If I had not called and asked for the tracking number, i would have been waiting for days and weeks for an item that was never going to come. Avoid this scam and make you purchase elsewhere.

Sold a product they don’t have. After 2 weeks wait, and no response to phone calls, I get an email offering different style, more expensive radios. No good.

Insulting emails after the neg review left isn't great either.

Ordered some speakers which were meant to fit my car according to their website, but they didn’t. This was fine I just wanted to return the items accepting the fact I will lose the delivery fees. However the returns address is impossible to find, I have emailed twice and received no reply. I sent the product to the address on their website and I have just received it back to my house. Meaning I have now lost out on double delivery charges and still have the speakers I cannot use. With no reply from audio visual world I am stuck. I am writing this review as they then may decide to reply. Avoid this company unless you are 100% sure on the item.
EDIT: I did not care that the speakers did not fit despite it saying they would on the website, I just want the returns address and a refund as I am entitled to.

I placed an order for a SKU48109 (video in motion unit ) received the item but it would of been nice to have had a instructions Manuel. I was told to contact X car link customer support to request instructions Manuel but after several emails and a phone call to customer support and raising a support ticket I have had no reply as of yet. Very disappointed will not deal with this company again 😡

Having purchased 3 items from this store at different times I can honestly say it’s been a good company to deal with and they resolve any issues that may arise. Recent purchase of a Rockford Fosgate Mono Amp and the owner has gone the extra mile to meet my expectations. Despite having a issue once with a subwoofer which was rectified straight away I still choose Audio Visual World as my number one source for equipment and thanks R for the supply of a excellent amp and for sorting out the price where other companies did not even care.

In addition to my "negative ", honest review they then email you arguing the tosd and then block you when the truth hurts. Pathetic!

Ordered a 12 inch oe audio active sub but unfortunately it was faulty. I contacted AVW and spoke to a chap that was friendly and helpful. I was contacted by the manufacturer of oe audio and was asked to do a few simple test to determine what was the problem the sub or the amp. Turned out the amp was a fault and a replacement was sent out the same day. These things happen from time to time and things slip through QC or just get damaged in transit. All in all top marks and I would be happy to buy again from these guys. Don’t let the bad reviews put you off

Bought a Helix G-five for £430. A week later I get a call saying it's not available and that they can offer me a 'better' amp worth £100 more and pressured me for an immediate response 'being the last one available' for next day delivery.

I looked into it and after 30 seconds found the amp they were trying to sell me was easily available for £300 or less and a completely different type of amp.

Based on the simple questions I asked about the 'alternative' I wasn't convinced they knew what they were talking about or were clearly committed to taking a punt at ripping me off... or both

Bought Virtus fleet titan 2 dash cam. At first had problem with connecting hardwiring. I took the dash cam to my own specialist but none manage to solve the issue of connecting second In-cabin camera as it was a full waste of 5 days. I was about to send back the item to Audio Visual World as I was told by my specialist tech it was faulty. But as I called up Audio Visual World, their help with Virtus tech too, guided me all the way through to the end how to connect the hardwiring and to make sure secondary camera was fully connected to the main. By my own experience of no tech. I have managed to fit the dash cam perfectly with hidden cables and made a professional fitting, (much better than any local fitter).

Appalling company. Ordered an amp/subwoofer kit.
The products supplied don’t even meet the requirements of the components they are mixing together.
Most unhelpful, and anti willing to help with anything attitude I’ve ever come across.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS

We ordered a very expensive TV unit from this company and paid extra for express delivery. I received an e-mail saying shipped but no tracking number or anything. I called to find them very unhelpful so i emailed them. The replies received were very unprofessional, no signature, no name they did not even address the message as hello just a one line response. I eventually received my parcel to find the cantilever missing so i called and the guy was very abrupt and told me well he would have to believe what i was saying but to send an e-mail. So whilst i was talking to him i sent the e-mail and asked him to confirm well received, he said nothing to do with him i would have to wait until someone came back. The next day i contacted MDA designs direct them selves they confirmed that audio visual world had not placed the order correctly but they apologised and were extremely helpful and are now resolving the issue for me. I have now asked Audio visual world for a refund and have been told why should they as they now have to pay for another delivery charge. I have explained to them that it is there problem they did not place the order correctly not mine and this is now nearly 2 weeks later but guess what ? you get no response form them
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL

Do not buy! If you decide you want to cancel your order they will make it very difficult to refund you, they just want to keep hold of your money!
