OnLineTraining was established in 2008 to provide flexible professional development for teaching professionals in the UK who support children and young people with special educational needs. In 2008, we began our collaboration with the Departments of Education in Australia, initially partnering with NSW to adapt our courses to suit the Australian education system. In the years that followed, our courses were implemented by the Departments of Education in all States and Territories in Australia, and many of the Catholic Dioceses and Independent Schools associations, too. Our courses are accredited by the teacher accreditation authorities, and contribute to the professional learning hours requirements for progression through the Australian Professional Standards. To date, over 140,000 participants worldwide have taken part in our courses

It was a really beneficial course to…put into my teaching practices and work on students with behavioural outcomes
It was a really beneficial course to focus and I learned different ways to achieve behavioural teaching goals and interventions as well as strategies to overcome the areas.

Incredibly Interesting and Informative Course
I found the course to be incredibly interesting and informative. I learned a lot, especially about seeing school life from the perspective of autistic young people.
I also learned a lot about how much sensory triggers can affect an autistic student’s ability to feel safe and focused at school.
Every slide and video was worthwhile.
My only complaint would be that it is a lot of content to cover over a short period of time, given that Term 2 is also a report writing term, in addition to the normal heavy workload, learning the new curriculum etc.

Very happy with the course
Very happy with the course. It was facilitated well and we were able to contact the facilitator for support at any point.
I have learned a lot and appreciate being able to repeat watch videos etc. Some of the videos may now be a little dated. It may be worth updating them to put in a very contemporary context
