OnLineTraining was established in 2008 to provide flexible professional development for teaching professionals in the UK who support children and young people with special educational needs. In 2008, we began our collaboration with the Departments of Education in Australia, initially partnering with NSW to adapt our courses to suit the Australian education system. In the years that followed, our courses were implemented by the Departments of Education in all States and Territories in Australia, and many of the Catholic Dioceses and Independent Schools associations, too. Our courses are accredited by the teacher accreditation authorities, and contribute to the professional learning hours requirements for progression through the Australian Professional Standards. To date, over 140,000 participants worldwide have taken part in our courses

Fantastic learning experience about Dyslexia
I have learnt a lot about Dyslexia and understanding difficulties with reading. Before completing my course, I had very little knowledge of Dyslexia, and this has completely shifted my perspective on how to best manage my students with this condition in my classroom to provide a positive and meaningful learning experience for my students.

Opportunity to refresh and deepen understanding ADS students
I valued the opportunity to refresh and deepen my understanding of working with ASD students, and I appreciated the chance to exchange insights and experiences with my colleagues. However, I felt that the course was more focused on primary or special education schools, rather than a mainstream secondary school context.
