Bag Borrow or Steal Avis 

I purchased the Gucci Flora Ophidia Small Bucket Bag, SKU 263486, from Bag Borrow or Steal. The original price was $1,195, but I paid a little over $900 after the discount. Which was great... because I seen the same item being promoted on other sites for a higher price. The bag is beautiful and arrived in excellent condition. There were a few minor imperfections, but nothing that was not already disclosed before I purchased it. The photos on the website were accurate and showed the purse exactly as it arrived. I am very happy with my purchase. Shipping was free and I had no issues with delivery. The purse actually arrived earlier than expected!

THIS is the place to sell your luxury handbags to if they are in excellent condition or very good condition. A few weeks ago, I requested quotes from Rebag, Yoogi's Closet, The Real Real and some local consignment shops. I went with Rebag and Bag Borrow or Steal because they offered the top prices. Sometimes Rebag was more, but Rebag's process is WAY slower. I can't rave enough of how easy and fast the payout was at Bag Borrow and Steal. I shipped them out the same time, and Rebag is still processing the buyouts, but most importantly, once Rebag does pay out, I have to wait another 14 days to get the cash or pay a 3% penalty. Bag Borrow and Steal sent payment to my PayPal account yesterday and today! I suggest skipping your local consignment company and getting a quote from here. I can't gush enough about how fast the process was.

What a joke. My bag is being sent back because they cannot completely authenticate my bag even though I sent the receipt with it. I should have listened to the warnings from the other bad reviews.

​I sold a luxury item to Bag Borrow or Steal (Submission #026161) for an agreed amount of $2,820.00 USD. I shipped the package using their official prepaid UPS label, and it was properly scanned and accepted at the UPS Store. Unfortunately, the package was lost in transit while under the carrier's custody.
​Even though I provided the official UPS drop-off receipt—proving beyond doubt that I fulfilled my obligations—BBS is refusing to release my payout. They are hiding behind corporate bureaucracy, demanding an invoice for an item that was a personal gift, and forcing me to upload sensitive identity documents online.
​As the creator of the shipping label, BBS is legally and contractually responsible for the package and its insurance. Holding a customer’s payout hostage for a loss that occurred on their carrier's watch is unacceptable. I have been forced to open a formal dispute with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Absolute lack of accountability. Avoid selling to them.
