My family and I had an incredible New Year’s Eve experience in New York City thanks to BallDrop. Celebrating in the city for the Times Square New Year's Eve Ball Drop had always been something we wanted to do, but we were worried about the huge crowds and long waits. BallDrop made the entire night comfortable, organized, and actually enjoyable for our whole family. Instead of stressing about where to stand or waiting outside for hours, we were able to relax and take in the excitement of the night together. The views were fantastic and the atmosphere was full of energy. When midnight arrived and we watched the ball drop live, it was a really special moment for all of us. It turned what could have been a stressful night into an amazing family memory. Disappointing Experience at Hornblo Infinity Yacht Cruise New Year’s Eve 2026
I purchased tickets through BallDrop.com for the Hornblower Infinity Yacht Cruise New Year’s Eve 2026, organized by Nightlife Marketing Group / NMG Event Tickets. I had attended this cruise back in 2018 and 2019, and it was a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, this year was completely disappointing due to poor organization.
Although I arrived early to board (around 8:30 pm), the ticket stated that boarding would begin at 9:30 pm. The doors did not open on time, and the line quickly grew extremely long, stretching for blocks in freezing temperatures (felt like -12°C / 10°F).
The boarding process was chaotic. VIP guests were given priority, but many arrived late, which delayed the general admission line. As a result, despite arriving early, I only got on the cruise at 11:15 pm, nearly two hours after the scheduled boarding time of 9:30 pm. This meant we missed a significant portion of the promised experience.
Once on board, the food was okay but nothing special. Open bar and drinks were available, but service was affected by the late boarding. By 1:00 AM, the bar stopped serving drinks even though the cruise was scheduled to end at 1:30 AM, meaning guests lost out on part of the inclusive services they had paid for.
Bathroom facilities were also poorly managed. The line for the restrooms in the main area was extremely long, and many guests were not informed that alternative bathrooms were available on the upper deck, which had shorter lines. This lack of communication caused unnecessary frustration.
The event was advertised as a “Dress to Impress” Gala, but many attendees were dressed casually, as if going to a park, which took away from the intended atmosphere of the event.
The DJ and general atmosphere on the cruise were enjoyable, but the delays, mismanagement, lack of communication, and exposure to extreme cold made the experience frustrating and stressful. The advertised rules (21+ age restriction) were not enforced properly; children and babies were present in the same areas, contrary to the description.
Overall, for the high cost of tickets (nearly $1,000), this experience was not worth it. The cruise organizers and ticket platform failed to honor the schedule and promised services, showing a lack of responsibility and customer respect. If you’re considering this cruise or purchasing tickets through BallDrop.com, please think twice. There are better ways to spend your money and enjoy New Year’s Eve in New York without enduring such disorganization and disappointment.

Don't waste your time. …
After playing the game and watched hundreds of videos. And after cashing out multiple "rewards" and waiting the 7 days for funds to be released I was then informed I had to collect multiple fruits then funds would be released which are absolutely unobtainable. Don't waste your time with this app they will rob you of valuable time in your life. Contacted the company time and no response.
