All what I know is that before I made my purchase I was hesitant and apprehensive of the brand and the online purchase and now afterwards I am most certainly going to be a return customer.

Baofeng UK were professionals and Baofeng China 🇨🇳 expertly package my product that humbled me for even doubting their excellence.

Moving forward all I will be returning for future business industrial and domestic.

worst kind of dropshipping. Ordered programming cable from what I thought was an English store. The goods are shipped from Hong Kong and now a month later they have not arrived. In addition, customer service is non-existent and their chat is never manned. So warning for Baofeng UK

Very disappointed with my experience ordering from Baofeng.

It has now been a month since I placed my order, and I still have not received the product. For the past two weeks, I have been emailing almost daily asking for a proper update. The only responses I’ve received are generic apologies saying “sorry for the inconvenience” — with no actual information about where my order is or when it will arrive.

There has been no accountability, and no meaningful communication. Repeated apologies without providing a solution or explanation are simply not acceptable customer service.

At this stage, I expect either a confirmed delivery date with full tracking details or a full refund. I hope Baofeng responds to this review with something more substantial than another generic apology.

Very frustrating experience.

Disgraceful company. Avoid at all costs. U.K. web address but based in Hong Kong China. Sent out faulty goods. Asking me to send £15 for them to send me a replacement. Then want me to return the faulty item at a cost to myself. So I’m stuck. I’m furious as now I’m left with a faulty radio that won’t turn on. One email a day contact with them so sorting anything is a waste of money. £40 wasted.

I have discovered you can buy this on Amazon to I suggest people use this covering themselves better if they get a faulty item.

I ordered a Baofengradio UV-5RIII radio labelled as a tri-band. It says: Frequency Range: 136-174/220-260Mhz/400-520MHz on the back and it even comes with a 220-260Mhz antenna. But there are only the (dual band) 136-174/400-520MHz frequencies available. The device does not allow you to manually select any of the 220-260Mhz frequencies. I wasted 6 hours connecting it with the UV-5RIII version of CHIRP software (which they recommended in order to change it) but that still doesn't support it! I've emailed them with the order number as they requested but they just sent me a link to buy another one! Grhhhhh.

I purchased some UV5R radios and I was blown away with the quality of them. I found that they could live up to their claim of long range and have achieved 15 miles hilltop to Hilltop with my family. I recommend them because they have other functions such as FM radio rechargeable removable batteries, program port ability support microphone or earphone and a LED light that helps when camping also it can quickly grab a broadcasting walkie-talkie nearby and this makes it easy to get onto PMR. I definitely recommend these to everybody who’s looking for something very very good that you would imagine cost much much more well done

Ordered a radio setup needed for weekend discovered they also ship from China so wouldn't arrive on time I emailed to cancel but was rudly emailed back it had been shipped and was to late to cancel ive contacted royal mail using the tracking details provided was informed after 2 days it was still with seller 4 days later no radio poor communication not happy its supposed to be on 48hr post errrrŕrrrrrrrr.

The website is easy to navigate, secure and well designed. I was able to find the best radio for my needs and ordering was a breeze. My radio arrived within a week and was excellent. It is easy to use and to program.

It's a very complex radio slightly difficult to use but it covers every topic I wanted to do with a handheld radio

Purchased a radio with programming cable.
Unfortunately the incorrect cable was supplied. I contacted Baofeng and they said they would supply the correct cable and to return the incorrect one.
They gave me a tracking code which was a used code for something posted to Birmingham last May.
The cable never arrived. I bought one from Ali Express which arrived very quickly.

A few weeks later the radio developed a fault. I'll use the internal workings for a future project and never buy from here again.

Baofeng's radios are excellent value for money. They have brought the world of radios to a far more accessible price-level generally. Incredible features for the cost.
Items are generally shipped from China for standard shipping, so be aware of the shipping time.
I had need to cancel an order with them recently. It took a negative review on Trustpilot to get the attention of the CS team, but once engaged they've sorted the return and refund very quickly.

Told 2 to 9 came on 9th day great product plus they had sale on so grabbed a bargain

Took a little long to arrive but other than that it’s great

But you should inform your clients about being dropshippers, that was not cool!
