Absolutely 10/10 across the teaching, the tutors, the cohort and the whole experience. Cannot recommend highly enough both as a personal experience as well as experience in the coaching world.

I am very grateful to have found Barefoot Coaching! I've just completed their Business and Personal Coaching course and it was excellent. Great pace and content (and excellent handouts physical/digital), and fab people. It is a company that you can trust. They offer a truly adult learning space, outstanding support and encouragement. I've met some incredible people along the way and it's an experience I will cherish always.

Exceptional tutors, extremely comprehensive content and materials - all delivered in service to the ICF gold standard of coaching. Those 5 months with Barefoot have become some of the most rewarding I've known in my working life - and I've made some wonderful and supportive new friends from our cohort.

Well curated content. Tutors that know their stuff, and hold space for growth and learning. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a well rounded, professional, expansive coach training, not a one-size-fits-all approach. They help coaches develop their own unique coaching style, and support diverse needs of the groups.

Absolutely loved the level 2 coaching course from barefoot! It was well structured over the 12 weeks, the tutors are all brilliant and so different from each other and the cohort group learning works so well. The content is amazing and includes lots of psychological elements (without going into therapy territory) and builds nicely over the weeks. There is also good time to practise on each other during the sessions.
The only reason I give this 4 stars and not 5 is that the course itself is not very neuroinclusive (inclusive for those with neurodiversity like adhd or autism) - both for participants and in terms of content. For example, the style of teaching (4 intense hours on zoom with quite strict camera-on policy) is not suitable for some neurodivergent participants. Also there is no mention of neurodiversity in the materials when talking about behaviours and ways of thinking and tutors did not mention it unless prompted by questions. I’m aware it is a complex area and whole courses are run on ND coaching but leaving it out completely when up to a quarter of participants and their future clients will be ND this feels like a real gap to be addressed.
That said, I’d highly recommend the course! It’s not the cheapest out there but the quality is great and does have the option to follow on with a masters degree which few other courses do.

I couldn't recommend Barefoot Coaching more highly. Having looked at various coach training providers, I felt Barefoot had more than the edge. Highly qualified tutors, a interesting and varied flagship programme that gave insights into various aspects/types of coaching, and they were engaging and professional in equal measure right from the beginning. The programme didn't disappoint and I am delighted to be a Barefoot coach.

I knew as soon as I found Barefoot that it was the organisation for me to train with. They share my values and ethos. They did not disappoint! The course has been one of the most positive experiences of my life. The tutors, the integrity woven through like a golden thread, the approach, methods and thoroughness, amount of practice time, the cohort - all perfect. I feel well equipped to go out into the world to coach with a great range of tools and techniques under my belt and a desire to keep developing more. I have just signed up to the post-grad certificate to further develop and fine tune my skills. I cannot recommend Barefoot enough.

Barefoot Coaching provides a very well researched and delivered training programme delivered to ICF Level 2 standards. The course tutors are experienced, knowledgeable and skilled at sharing their knowledge and expertise in a flexible manner. Barefoot has a clear aim - for each participant to find the style of coaching that works for them. They do this brilliantly!

I found the course to be exceptionally well-structured. Through learning with various tutors, we had the opportunity to experience firsthand different coaching styles, approaches, and personalities, which helped each of us reflect on and define the kind of coach we aspire to be.

I particularly loved the practical, lively sessions, which included active participation in breakout rooms and triads. The breaks between modules were a true re-energizer, especially for those of us balancing the course with full-time jobs and other responsibilities.

What I appreciated most was that we weren’t spoon-fed; instead, we were encouraged and challenged to think for ourselves — a quality that fostered real growth and independence as developing coaches.

My most significant personal gain from the course is the self-awareness and transformation I experienced — I now feel more empowered and confident than I did when I began.

All tutors were amazing — honest, authentic, respectful, and professional. The course materials were clear, practical, and easy to follow.

My only wish would be to have the opportunity to meet in person after completing the Flagship program, to connect beyond the digital environment and celebrate the shared journey together.

The Facilitating/Mentor Coaches were not only engaging and informative but also incredibly supportive. Throughout the modules, I felt secure and confident in their capable hands. The knowledge I gained has contributed to my development and boosted my confidence in coaching.

I wasn't 100% sure about coaching before I began the course but I needed a change and thought it would be useful, I have grown so much thanks to the course, the tutors and all my fellow coaches. I’m beyond grateful I chose to train with Barefoot. From start to finish, it was an exceptionally well-run and inspiring program.

One of the things I loved most was the opportunity to learn from different tutors across the journey — each with their own personality and style, which made the learning feel dynamic and rich. What united them all was the incredible quality: skilled in both coaching and teaching, with a grounded, human approach that drew on real-life experience. They didn’t just teach — they walked the talk.

The program was also very well organized, with clear materials and strong logistical support. Whenever I had questions outside of class, the team was always responsive and helpful — it felt like I was genuinely supported, not just enrolled.

The taster session was what sealed the deal for me. Given the time and financial commitment, I wanted to feel the right chemistry and approach — and I highly recommend doing this if you’re considering the program. That one experience made everything click into place.

The 4-hour, 2-day-per-week format was a sweet spot — manageable alongside a full-time job, and well-paced to keep momentum without feeling overwhelming. It helped me stay engaged, week after week.

And last but not least — my cohort. What a joy. Of course, this part isn’t guaranteed, but I honestly feel that the kind of people who choose Barefoot are special. The group made the experience whole.

If you're looking for a coaching program that’s thoughtful, high-quality, human, and genuinely transformative — I can’t recommend Barefoot enough.
