Went for septorhinoplasty, Esar who assisted with all the booking throughout was brilliant help, the surgeon Dr Elshan Mammadov was highly skilled and professional. A brilliant surgeon. All very smooth and hospital staff were so helpful. I would highly recommend, even if you’re overseas, they organise everything for you including a 5star hotel for you and another person.

I initially contacted Yasmin to enquire about the rhinoplasty procedure and was amazed at the price, which made me enquire about a facelift. Yasmin is friendly, knowledgeable and professional and worked out a package for me after consulting with the Dr.
I arrived at the Basari hospital on the Sunday 8th September and had health check, bloodwork etc. I met my Surgeon Dr. Serkan on the Monday morning 9th September. I was totally amazed how friendly, cool, humble and professional Dr. Serkan is. After the consultation with Dr. Serkan I was made ready and taken to the operating theatre. Dr. Serkan had told me that there would be no pain following my surgery, I was to have a neck lift, a facelift, a rhinoplasty and fat injections. I honestly thought that surely I would feel some pain - after all - It was a 7-9 hr surgical procedure. But When I awoke after all the procedures were carried out by Dr. Serkan - yes you guessed it - No Pain! I was not just amazed but in awe of this incredible Dr.
From the get go I was totally looked after, informed, and treated with kindness and respect. All of my needs were catered for. Saying I'm happy with my new nose and other procedures is an understatement. I never thought in a million years it would look as good as it does! I really can't thank the highly qualified Dr. Serkan and team enough for how they have not only created a new 'me' but have changed my life forever for the better. Thanks so much from the bottom of my heart. If you are considering changing your life these are the professionals you can trust to do the work above and beyond what you require. Everyone I met was helpful professional and knowledgeable. Best experience I have ever had and cannot recommend them highly enough! Absolutely amazing!!!!

I recently had 3 surgeries at this hospital and travelled from London to get it. I got an upper blepharoplasty and hairline lowering by Dr Serkan Kaya and a rhinoplasty by Dr Elshan Mammadov. Coming in I was extremely nervous as I’ve never been in surgery before and was getting a lot in one day. But I have to say it was an amazing experience when it comes to the hospital staff, both the surgeons and the medical assistant who planned it all, Fatih. Everyone was extremely kind to me and took care of me very well. The nurses were amazing and so sweet!

All 3 of the surgeries went great and I am healing amazing. I couldn’t complain about anything. My nose looks amazing, the hairline lowering looks great and the blepharoplasty also! 100% recommend this hospital if you’re planning or looking for any cosmetic surgeries :)

The worst nightmare I have ever had in my life was with that clinic, the doctor and all the staff. At first when I finally returned to my country Holland ... I thought about leaving everything in the hands of God because of the abuse they committed against my son. But a month has passed and my son has entered a very strong depression .. Let me explain ... My son suffers from obesity, I contacted Eser Yavuz through Google. via email eser. Yavuz. On June 13, 2024. We kept in touch for my son's gastric balloon procedure. We sent his age, which is 15 years old, weight 145 kilos, all the details they asked for. They agreed and asked for 100 euros for a deposit so they could schedule the procedure. They charged me 2,500 euros. That included picking us up at the airport, two nights at the clinic and that's it. When we arrived there my son couldn't eat because of the procedure. On the morning of July 3rd, they gave him a pill for vomiting... When they called me to the administration office to pay the 2,500 in advance before the procedure, the secretary didn't want to give me an invoice, and to top it off they asked me for an additional 850 euros for the famous pill, which they hadn't informed me of beforehand because I had traveled from Holland already scheduled with the money that had already been discussed in advance, and even the doctor who was going to treat him hadn't seen him yet. When I saw this situation, I demanded to see the doctor. The doctor sees us and says that he doesn't know about this, that I haven't spoken to him, so I ask him, because I spoke to his assistant, we discussed a price and now they come up with another. In the end they tell me that it's okay, that I should excuse myself and only pay the 2,500. Ok. We waited in the room and after noon of waiting so much a translator comes to say that the operation was cancelled... I go downstairs to speak with the doctor, he never showed his face to me again, only the translator, the assistant, the people in the office who already gave me my money and there they told me that they were not going to return it, why?????? Because they were going to discount the transportation that they picked me up, the night we slept there in the clinic and the famous pill. I got angry and called the Dutch embassy, ​​the two of us without knowing anyone, with the lost money from the tickets, from the operation, and what is worse, my son with his broken hope, we traveled with the faith that his obesity problems and the bullying that he has suffered all these years were going to stop... but they apart from making us go to waste time and money, they broke my son's faith. And that is why I am doing this now. Because for a few pesos they can't play with anyone's mental health... in the end that day I claimed my right to be exposed to danger in that place and in the end they gave me part of the money back. We left there and I had to pay for a hotel so my son and I could feel safe and wait until the next day to return home. May God forgive them.

I stayed at Basari hospital for 3 days during my bariatric surgery . The staff were amazing from start to finish - very informative and kind and always making sure you feel well looked after . The nurses are very kind and always approach you with a smiley face. My experience was great and I would definitely recommend 😊

I had a gastric sleeve surgery at this hospital ... can't tell how impressed I am with the surgeons and all the staff that looked after me they were always there day and night when ever I needed anything. Mehmut had been really good answered all my questions gave all information and went all the way through with booking for surgery and answered any questions I had after booking... I would definite recommend this hospital and thakyou very much.

My experience at the Basari Hospital was excellent!! I had the gastric sleeve operation and All the staff and the doctors were first class. They really helped me settle in as I travelled alone for this op from London.
From the moment I was directed into my room I felt at ease chatting with the Nurse and going through my checks, I always felt there was someone around.
When I used the buzzer, the Nurse came instantly which made me feel safe,
I would definitely recommend any lady to think seriously about this, as I have a new lease of life after the operation, it is only 3 weeks post op for me but I personally feel great.. my after care was explained by the
Doctor and the Nurses, eating small amounts of soft food has been a revelation and this is the start of my new journey.
Highly recommend this Hospital and I would like to thank all the staff again, for treating me so well, loved the car ride from the airport too (felt like a star)

I chose this hospital based on its trustpilot review and I was so glad I found it. I had gastric baloon surgery and it went extremely smoth from paying the deposit right up until my departure. Eser was extremely helpful and answered all my queries. I was greeted by Roza who spoke fluent english and taken to my room with my son which looked more like a spacious mini apartment. This a private hospital which serves the community but it looks like a hotel. The nurses were very professional and were happy to communicate via google translate. Esra stood out as she was so kind, professional and was quick to administer pain and nausea relief immediately. Even the way she handled the inserted canulla in your skin not to pull and hurt you. This hospital has many other departments such as cardiology, urology etc, as well as plastic surgeons...so you know you had a plethora of experts at hand should anything go wrong with you. I followed the medication to the T and on my 3rd day I had no more nausea nor cramps. I had 4 days in beautiful Istanbul and I am glad I did as I needed that time to recover. In a week I lost 5 kilos and every day the weight keeps coming off.My pre-diabetic symptoms have now all gone due to my weight loss. I am delighted to have found this hospital and would 100% recommend it to anyone. Thank you Basari hospital!!

Wish I had paid more and gone elsewhere!!
First of all the sheets on the bed are dirty, the blankets look like they’ve never been washed and the pillows are so old they look like they’re filled with cotton balls?
The room was absolutely freezing and I mean freezing and they wouldn’t let us put the heating on..
We were supposed to have a translator but she could barely understand either of us and couldn’t speak much English. No one went through the procedure with us so we didn’t know what was happening and it was very rushed! We had a lady come in to the room in the morning with the translator on her phone saying ‘hurry up the dr is very busy’ we hadn’t been told a time or anything and this was early in the morning. I wanted to brush my teeth and they literally grabbed me like I was in a prison. The staff don’t knock the door and will just walk in all through the day and night so you have 0 privacy!! A lady walked in at 3 am just to give us some slippers.
We then got prescribed medications which I google translated and none of them were anti sickness which we were supposed to be going home with as we had a 4 hour flight. We also both got prescribed ibuprofen which after 4 weeks I’ve now found out that under no circumstances should anyone who’s had any bariatric procedure be taking ibuprofen. My partner was sick the whole time and they only gave her an anti sickness injection 5 minutes before we left after I had been begging them for something to help her the day before. I even offered to pay more.
I would definitely NOT recommend this hospital at all. And to top off this dreadful experience my partner is having to have her balloon removed in the UK as they have over filled the balloon and they’re unable to drain it. She has not eaten or drank without being sick for over 3 weeks and the last 5 days she’s been in hospital with severe dehydration, malnourishment and potential stomach lining damage from the ibuprofen.

Pay more and go elsewhere, please!!

All the staff were very friendly, from the co-ordinatior to the nurses and doctors. The hospital was very clean and everything happened when they said it would and how they said it would.

I can't describe how much help Eser has been. He never had a problem answering any question that I had to ask and has always been available when convenient. Couldn't ask for a better person to have as a contact in a case like mine where you're having an operation in a country you don't know. (I came from UK). Congrats to every nurse that took care of me and also sending my greatest regards to my surgeon, Elshan, for giving me exactly what I wanted with my rhinoplasty surgery. 🙏🏼

I was really happy with the surgery. The staff were helpful, reassuring & prompt. Mahmut keep me updated throughout and was a great help.

Two weeks post rhinoplasty and I could not be more pleased! It’s safe to say I was more than a little nervous before the operation but the moment I met Dr Mammadov I knew instantly I was in good hands.

I can not fault the care, patience. Professional guidance given pre travel from the UK. Eser was very knowledgeable and helped with with any queries. The staff at the hospital especially the nurse give impedable care 24/7 going above and beyond to help me as I traveled alone. The surgeons and anesthetist introduced themselves before op and checked on me following the procedure of a gastric sleeve. Rosa the translator and admin was very Professional and thorougher. The hospital was exceptionally clean and private room was huge with private bathroom, cleaned daily. I can Highly recommend Basari hospital to anybody travelling from outside of Turkey, the care given was simply perfect. I will be back again next year. Thank you all.

I recently had rhinoplasty surgery with Dr mammadov who was just amazing. I was extremely nervous about my nose remaining natural and he assured me he would do his best he also is very realistic and will inform you what you will expect from surgery. From start to finish I had the most amazing and comfortable stay. From booking with mahmut to check out everything went so smoothly. Mahmut was able to translate for me and always on the end of the phone should i have needed anything i also had the pleasure orlf Roza to translate she was lovely so friendly and kind.The staff at the hospital were so friendly and always making sure I was comfortable checking in on me and getting me ice packs and showing me how to use my aftercare everyone of the nurses were extremely caring and always had a big smile. After surgery we stayed at a beautiful 5 start hotel and were able to see alot of the beautiful city istanbul. Transfers were always on time. I was also transfered back to hospital to have my cast off and Dr mammadov was excellent. He is very talented and an artist when it comes to rhinoplasty. All in all I had an amazing stay my procedure went smoothly with little to no pain after Mahmut is still on hand after surgery if I needed to ask him anything and has been extremely kind and helpful can't thank the team enough. 🙏

I was travel on my own from London - England but I didn’t feel alone as everyone in BASARI have been treating me like their family, I felt so overwhelming and Miss Nesibe was my consultant and she has done her role like a pro. ☺️

Overall, My experienced with BASARI Hospital was 10/10 from the started until finished.

Overall happy with the outcome of my rhinoplasty, I just feel that there was no organisation at all from staff and hospital. We were not told the time of our surgery or consultation and also our hotel was changed and we were not told until we were dropped off at a different hotel. I always had to chase Mahmut to ask for things such as fit to fly letters and ask when we would be picked up. Hospital staff were nice but did not speak English and we didn't have a translator available for majority of the time. Was also overcharged for discharge medication after being told this would cost no more than £20. If the communication and organisation was better than would be happy. My Advice would be to book another company and pay the extra money for better service.

I'm currently five days post op (sleeve gastrectomy) and feeling fantastic. Eser and all of the surgical and care team on Ward 4 were outstanding, and I was cared for like a member of their family. The kindness and compassion I received during my stay at Basari was impeccable, the aftercare was thorough and informative, and I would recommend anyone thinking about having this type of surgery to get in touch with the team and discuss their circumstances. Many thanks once again to everyone who welcomed me and ensured that my stay was an enjoyable and successful one. I only wish I'd done it sooner!

The surgery itself went smoothly. The staff was attentive and reassuring throughout the entire process. Waking up to a flatter, more toned stomach was a revelation!

The post-operative care was exceptional. Nurses monitored me closely, and the doctor readily answered any questions. The hospital itself was immaculate and comfortable, providing a serene environment for recovery.
