From the first day of meeting Paul from Bath Fitter we knew that we would not go anywhere else. He was very personable and gave us loads of options on renovating our bathroom. His team could not have been more professional and respectful of our home. They arrived on time every day and left our home spotless. I have to give a mention to Joshua and his team whom nothing was too much trouble. Our bathroom is absolutely beautiful and we could not be happier with it. I have no hesitation in recommending Bath Fitter if you are thinking of renovating your bathroom. Thank you so much Paul, Joshua and your team. Lisa and John Bright, Dooradoyle Limerick
We just had a new tub shower combo installed by Bathfitter. It looks great! Our installer Dominick did a great job. He explained everything he was doing and showed me as he was explaining. This whole experience was easy from beginning to end.
I installed a walk in shower 3 years ago in my basement bathroom. A tub was removed to make the install ready. The drain for the tub was in a different location than the shower drain. The had to cut a hole in the concrete to move the drain. They did not fill in the hole with concrete after positioning the drain. So that left a hole in the concrete around the drain. This past week we had 9 inches of rain. Water came into our basement through the hole they left and now we have to replace almost 600 square of floor covering in our basement. We have a sump pump but it could not keep up with the amount of water coming into our house. Bath fitters said they are sorry but will not do anything to resolve the problem. They tried to tell me they never fill the holes with concrete.
We met with the salesman on April 24th, and told him at the time what faucet and manufacture that we wanted for installation even though he kept pushing for another type. We adamantly said we did not want the one that he was pushing. Installation day came, and a white wall was installed with grey marble trim, and soap dish. We order Grey/White Marble not White. When I pointed this out to the man installing he said that he installed the wrong wall. Down came the wall and the faucets. When I saw the faucet - I again said - that is not what we wanted. I was told, it was on our paperwork and it is normally what we use. I asked for the salesmen to call me. No return call. The next day I called the service department to make sure that they would be coming on the following day to install the correct wall and the correct faucet. I was told again - it is what is on the paperwork. Again, I adamantly stated it is not what we wanted, please have the salesperson call me. Saturday came, new installer with the correct color wall, and I again told this installer that it is not the faucet that we wanted. Requested the salesman call me again. Glass doors were left with silicone prints all over and I called to have them come out and try and clean them on Tuesday. On Wednesday another installer came out, extremely nice and cleaned the silicone off the walls and doors. I again stated that this is not the faucet that we wanted. Again - I was told it was on the paperwork. I again requested the sales person to call me. I called the service department a week later, since I heard from no one - the faucet you have installed is what is on the paperwork. I don't know how many times that I can tell everyone that it is not what we wanted, and the salesmen, and his superior would not call me back as many times as I requested a call. At this point I was told the wall would have to come down to change the faucet and I would have to pay the difference, even though we were told that the Delta and Moen were the same prices at consultation. Extremely unhappy that we did not get what we adamantly stated that we wanted, and numerous times at that. The project looks nice, just not the faucet that we wanted. For $8500 you would think they would listen a little better and be more concerned, than to just keep telling me - its whats on the paperwork.
The quality of the product and the installation were great. Installer was very adamant about keeping the work area clean. Installer explained things in great detail and answered all my questions. The salesperson stated that it would be a one day installation. Scheduling department stated no, 1.5 days. Was told that the sales representative didn't know about the permit even after I stated we needed one several times during the consultation. For the price, I am happy with the product, however I would recommend that any timelines the salesperson states be verified BEFORE you make a deposit.
Since August of 2017 I have been very happy with my Bathfitters Bathtub/Shower install. It is very easy to keep clean and maintain. It is always a pleasant experience when one of their employees arrives to take care of any periodical maintenance covered the lifetime warranty. Speaking of that, I was pleased with Curtis Patterson for his Knowledge and Professionalism not to mention being friendly and working neatly. These are qualities you just don't see every day. You can't go wrong with "Bath Fitter"; Clearly, the best choice!
We had two bathrooms remodeled by two different companies. The bath fitters bathroom we at first thought they did a good job. We found out a few days later they didn’t hook up the drain for the tub. We had a mess to clean up in our garage from water damage. Then we were having trouble with our shower curtain rod staying tight. It was a curved shower rod they came three times to fix it. After the 2nd time the repairmen said maybe we would have to get a straight one put in. We were told the same thing on the 3rd repair. So I took the matter in my own hands and was going to repair it myself. When I took down the shower rod and seen what they did I said to myself WOW! I found out why our shower rod would never stay tight. First they didn’t put any 2x4’s behind where the shower rod was anchored to the wall. They put in cheap plastic anchors. Then caulk.around the bracket which did nothing by the way. So I used 4 toggle bolts to secure the bracket to the wall. Also the set screw they used on the rod itself was loose so I tighten them up. Also the over flow piece on the tub was loose. I tighten that up. I would not recommend bath fitters to anyone who’s thinking of remodeling their bathroom.
The whole Bathfitter process from discussion of our requirements with the design consultant, the proposed solution and the installation met and exceeded our expectations.
The Bathfitter quotation was the lowest of three but the quality of components was higher than those proposed by the competing quotations, e.g Bathfitter were able to include shower glass screens rather than curtains within the price.
The kit was available when promised and our ideal installation date was met.
The installation was completed well within the day, all rubbish removed and absolutely no mess left behind.
Brilliant! Well done to both Russell and Anthony.
Want to thank Logan for the service call on 10/20/23. Did a good job. There where other problems that he was going to report to the office. I will what to here from them
Authur gave me an estimate of $2500 for my guest tub and $4500 fmy Master shower if I decided not to buy white, each would be a thousand dollars more, mind you there were less than 10 total choices. Also according to Arthur Bathfitter will not resurface trim that isn't within the confines of the main area their technician will focus on. That means you have to figure out what to do with that or leave different colors. I told Arthur I needed to review it with a family member. He complained he had to drive 45 minutes from Bathfitter's Deerfield Beach location and didn't initially come away with a deposit for a closed contract. That evening my family member agreed to the pricing for each, but wanted the deposit lowered from 50% to between 25 and 30%. When I called Arthur back to give him the job,
he first had the Master at $5500. He didn't want to come down, even though he knew the price he said verbally was a mistake. Finally he agreed. Then I told him about the deposit. He arrogantly decided to pass and got off the phone.
I believe Bathfitter considers themselves the only game in resurfacing. Fortunately they would not be right. By luck I found a local company that blends your color and resurfaces tile, kitchen cabinets etc. Both Bathrooms were completely beautifully completed for $2000 and zero deposit. I was so pleased I hired them again for my Kitchen for $2500. And my kitchen is 2 different shades of silver, and both bathrooms are completely uniform 1 color silver. People who visit are in awe of what I found. I wish I could include the phone number, but I want to follow the rules. By the way no adhesives or products that have the potential to erode during the use of pressurized water are applied to your walls, versus what bathfitter must do to install their acrylic
Nice install. But found out it has been slow leaking for more than a year. BAth Fitter Lifetime warranty is just for the tub and enclosure, not the plumbing which was done incorrectly and they say they will not cover the repairs and new dry wall that needs to be replaced. Very disappointed in that the leak did start within their one year warranty period but was not discovered until after that period, so they will not cover cost to repair. A bit disappointed in Bath Fitter of Utah!!! Update: July 11, 2023 - Nick came out from Bath Fitter, he is their main plumber - found that seal between tub and drain had not been installed correctly. He replaced seal and leak appears to be gone, said there was no charge 😄, Said he would check with the powers in charge to see if they would cover the drywall replacement. Thanks Bath Fitter of Utah!
Sales presentation was great, service was not on time, work was done lousy, follow up was even worse. Floor already cracked after three months. Still waiting after three weeks to find out what to do with the issues that the tub and shower is having. Would not and could not recommend Bath Fitters.
First of all they say no seams, look at the pictures, false! installer licks finger to apply cauking in seams, installer says cut out caulking and replace" lick your finger first" will need to change regularly my mistake was paying these con man
Beware of Bath Fitters! Bath Fitters will tell you everything you want to hear but when it comes time for service they are not there for their customers. Per our contract with Bath Fitters the completion date says May 24, 2023. However, the Job did not get competed until June 15, 2023. Bath Fitters would call on the same day they were to show up to let us know they would not be able to come out. This happened at the very least 3 times. They do not care if you must take time off work or adjust your time to meet Bath Fitters. When they did finally come to install the new shower there was no water coming out of the Bathtub faucet or show head. We had to wait around a week (if not longer) before they would come out to fix the problem. Now they have deleted most of my Facebook comment which told the whole nightmare we had to go through. Now I know why I could not find many bad reviews on Bath Fitters. They deleted the ones they don't like. I have complained to other Bath Fitters in other states and with my problems and it seems to me no one cares about Bath Fitters reputation. They all just blew me off. Bath Fitters tells me they are individually franchised and are not interested in helping me. When I have text the regional product manager Dennis Anderson (in Illinois) he stopped replying to my text. Bath Fitters blocked me on Messenger in Facebook also. This new shower was added to my son's home in Warsaw, Illinois (I live in Phoenix, Arizona) and I was coming up for a visit and asked my son about adding a shower to his bathroom and I would pay for it. The regional product manager Dennis Anderson (in Illinois) said my son signed the contract and they will have to deal with him, I told Dennis I was paying for the job and I was not in Warsaw to sign the contract. We wanted the shower added before I got to Illinois. Well, the shower was completed after I left because Bath Fitters broke their contract of May 24, 2023 deadline. This is my opinion but I would be looking for some other company than Bath Fitters to re-do my bathroom. I will never use them at my house in Arizona, which we will be remodeling soon. They don't care about their customers. Bath Fitters do not think their customers time is important. We all need to rally together to get this company out of businesses. I plan on taking Bath Fitters to court for breaking they contract and faulse advertising. Bath Fitters wants me to settle and has offered me 50% off. I will not settle for for that. I know when a customer breaks the contract with bath fitters the want all of their money. So I will not settle.
I highly recommend Bath Fitter to anyone looking for an excellent and affordable bathroom renovation. My original (1984) small bathroom was a real challenge, and Jason, my installer, did a fantastic job He incorporated some of the original tile while creating a clean modern look. The entire job was completed in a day and a half, and I couldn't be happier with the results!
Micheal goes above and beyond! I could not be happier and he is also very fast!! Very pleasant guy!
Our installation was great Garrett Suggs and Chris was professional they did a great job
On November 17th 2021 I signed a contract with Bath Fitter Idaho to have my tub/shower replaced. The installation did not begin until 3 three months later on February 28, 2022. When they installed the shower it did not go floor to ceiling as promised in the contract and was told I would be compensated which has not happened. I called them back out because they did not install a three valve correctly so their plumber came to correct it 2 1/2 weeks later.
On March 7 Glass Doctor ( a subcontractor which they claim on their website they don’t use) was out to measure for the door. I don’t understand why they had to measure again since the measurements were in the contract.
Then 2 MONTHS alter, May 7 Glass Doctor came to install the door finally, but it was the wrong door (Bath Fitter ordered the wrong door) and it would not fit. Then two months later on
July 30, I received a bill in the mail so I promptly called and said I don’t even have a shower door yet and they said I’ll look into that.
September 19, 10 MONTHS since I signed the contract, Glass Doctor installed the door and did repairs to the trim around the shower that Bath Fitter installed incorrectly.
November 3rd I received a text message (no bill no email ) demanding payment that same day. I called immediately
and
talked to Olga (who was rude and demanding) on the phone and told her I was supposed to have a credit for the shower not going floor to ceiling which was extremely important for the aesthetic, considering I have a vaulted ceiling. She said she would “look into it” but I she didn’t call me back until a month and a half later.
December 23, I was told by the unprofessional Olga that I would not receive a credit because I did not respond to her Dec 12th text message demanding payment in a timely manner.
I did not get what I was promised and went without a shower door for 11 months! I am extremely skeptical to think what kind of service I will get in the future with the lifetime warranty. Eventually 10 months later, I was able to use the shower.
Worst decision I ever made. They are very expensive and the quality of work they do is garbage. The guy who came to my house was a total slob. Left silicone all over the glass doors and left holes in the floors so when I put the bath on in the morning everything went downstairs and destroyed the ceiling. We had to have a plumber come. And then a sheet rock guy and then a painter. And when I called customer service they got back to me two weeks later and offered me a $50 gift card. I spent almost $7000 and they think a $50 gift card is going to make me happy. Don’t believe me just read the reviews everyone can’t be wrong. Don’t use Bathfitter
Do not work with this company. They committed to a job and canceled last minute after not showing up for the first appointment. Total waste of time and energy. They are a scam.
